Jim and his team came out to do the install and addressed some additional needs to increase the air flow, make the existing unit up to proper code, and make the filter track so it fit filters appropriately. The last unit installation I'm sure was a DIY job or done by a less qualified company. Jim addressed all those issues. I was on a meeting when he was all finished and didn't get to go see the finished product until after he left. It was beautifully done and very neat.

I ended up needing a new system, but two of the nicest and most informative technicians came out the very next day and completed the work. They talked to me about the system and what I can do to maintain it. The price was fair and what they quoted originally did not change after the work had been done. A new HVAC system was installed in our home in late March this year and everything was done professionally and neatly with no messes left for us to clean up. The system worked great until the incredibly damp and cool spring when the AC was having real trouble dealing with the humidity in the house. But Faszold--and its mother ship, Classic Aire Care--kept sending out a couple of stellar technicians to check and adjust the system until they got it right. And this was warranty work--we did not pay for anything as they tweaked settings and made the system work in our home. Anthony and Steve are true problem solvers as they continued to address individual parts like the thermostat and fans and they finally got it all worked out so that the system is able to keep our house below 50% humidity. It was a frustrating time but the company has been responsive and supportive. Mike Faszold was also amazing and continually answered my calls and texts during both pre-sale and after install time. This company stands behind its installs and comes through on its promise of good customer service. Check around but believe what they tell you.

I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it. I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.

When he showed up, we found a puddle of water under the furnace and over part of the basement. It was because one of the drains was partially clogged. He opened up the furnace, cleaned it out and drained the backed up water. He then completed the service and maintenance on the unit without any problems. There was no charge for his visit, as it was part of the yearly maintenance agreement. I was originally hesitant to purchase the maintenance agreement but after this visit I felt good that I had it. Mike came out on time, quickly diagnosed the problem with our washer, explained it, fixed it, and educated us on preventative measures---and in our case, all for just the $59 service fee. Since our washer is getting older, he gave us options on whether or not it was worth it to pay for expensive additional repairs now or just get a new washer a year or two later when this one finally breaks. The cost was nearly the same, so we happily opted for the latter. Very thankful to him for educating us and letting us make that decision. Imagine enjoying Christmas Day with your family all day and you notice that the house seems too…read morecool at bedtime. With the thermostat set at 71F, the inside temperature had dropped to 66F with the furnace apparently running. We went to bed and called Sigman first thing in the morning...now the temperature was at 62F with the furnace still running! Sigman sent Sam out who was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged condensation line. He disconnected three lines and blew them out and we were back in business in roughly 30 minutes. Fast, clean, affordable, and professional! We have our HVAC under contract for seasonal maintenance and have that done twice a year. We would definitely recommend them.
