But then, within a very short period of time, you start getting hugs when you walk in from people you didn't realize were family just a month before. It's a haven; where you don't feel judged and you don't feel pressure. Beyond that, the specials should not be ignored. If you see Adams pork belly fried rice, Ricky's lasagna or Joe's fried burritos, make a special trip; it's worth it. Some of the food is standard bar fare, but those specials are something else. I love this place and I'm so glad they welcomed me into the neighborhood and made it feel like home.
