Freeing in the sense that you can literally relax and FEEL your whole body. It brought so much mind body soul connection. Fun in the sense of when I had trouble bringing my mind to my breath I was able to quite literally float around. It was fun honoring the inner child in a safe space. Additionally, the music in the tank never started/was broken so 3/4 way though the lights and music came on, which the staff said would indicate the session is over. I did think it was early so turned both off, but they started again so I got out. When I was shampooing my hair I got a knock on the door that I still had time left to float. I was already warmed up in the shower so opted not to go back inside. They gave me 10$ offer because they said the music and lights were malfunctioning. Not the worst thing ever - stuff happens. But , when I first got to the location for my appt, I arrived to the address that was on Apple Maps (the same place I clicked where I initially booked the apt) it took me to the "wrong place" they informed me upon calling. I had walked to the location initially but then was informed the correct location was 5 miles away. I almost cancelled because I didn't want to start a spa moment on a negative foot. But I rallied and managed to make my way there by borrowing a friend's car, and there was zero acknowledgement of the call when I arrived. Not looking for a discount but at least a normal conversation! I chalked it up to them being new and still working out the kinks, but pretty sure this location is over 7 years old. At least put the correct address in your initial confirmation message with a warning to use google maps vs Apple Maps since it was clear they've had that discussion many times before. Alternatively, offer a great product that no one can argue.

I thought it was a little strange having to take off my shoes upon entry (spa sandals were provided). Had I had nicer shoes on, I wouldn't have wanted to just leave them by the front door for anyone to take if they felt so inclined. I learned later (after my massage) that there are lockers in the bathroom. I assume I could have locked my shoes up if I had wanted, but that wasn't offered to me. I was promptly greeted by my massage therapist (Ty) after I filled out some new client paperwork. She showed me to the treatment room, and it was truly the nicest one I had ever been in. I LOVED the up lighting in the room. It added a calming glow to an otherwise dark room. Not only did my therapist read my chart, but she sat down and discussed my wants/needs for my 75 minute session. You don't get that kind of personal interaction at larger day spas. Some of those spas are more like a "one size fits all" quantity over quality places. That is not the case here. My massage was WONDERFUL. It was the right amount of therapeutic and relaxing, and the use of warm towels was the cherry on top. Ty addressed my areas of concern and took the time after my massage to tell me her findings. I have definitely found my new place to go to for massage. I see no reason to go anywhere else now unless I'm out of town. I wish I would have stopped in sooner! The massage therapist was kind and welcoming but I noticed that she had on an earbuds-type headset that she wore around the back of her neck. OK, maybe she listens to something that gets her into her groove but several times during the massage she seemed to drift her focus away from me: only one hand on my body that seemed to just stop in mid stroke or repeated massaging the same area over and over and over again, each time getting deeper than the medium touch we had discussed. I even could hear another sound in the room other than the soothing music that was playing. Was that coming from her earpieces? She also spent so much time on my back side that by the time she asked me to flip over the massage was almost done. She just seemed distracted. I will go back but to my usual therapist who has always kept me 100% the focus of her attention.

This is super specific, but it seemed strange they didn't have handles on both sides of the doors in the steam sauna. While I knew this when booking. I was very surprised that the rate per person is the same for using the space. If you are reserving it for a set time, there should be a discounted rate for additional people. We were glad we went, but I think they could definitely make it more affordable for couples or groups while still charging extra for the cleaning and washing of the additional towels and robes.
