I was in town for work, and my colleagues and I were put into the Residence Inn by Marriott. It was about 25 minutes out from the airport and situated in an area where it's near restaurants and coffee shops. I liked how the suites were like apartment-style, where you have a living room area with a TV, a little kitchen area with a small dining table, and another separate room with a bed, a TV, a sink, and a bathroom. The room itself was a little outdated, but clean (always a plus!). The concierge/front desk is very friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Gloria. I like how when you check-in, you receive a little goody bag, filled with some popcorn from a local business, a granola bar, and some water bottles. The hotel also has a little conference area and offers complimentary breakfast (hot breakfast, that is, such as English muffins topped with scrambled eggs and garlic spinach, sausage links/patties, scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, breakfast pastries, toast, coffee/juice/milk) daily. +apartment-style suites +daily complimentary HOT breakfast +ask for Ms. Gloria :D +friendly staff :D +free parking

Typical residence inn, great location and reasonably priced. Being platinum members we were upgraded to double room. Kiddo was super excited to have a room for himself. Overall Smiling staff, and typical breakfast buffet which was getting replenished as soon as it got over...Overall a value for money visit, Kudos.

Checked out the toilet which must be for kids or short people. There are no grab bars to assist it getting up. Turns out this room is for hearing impaired disability. I go to take a shower before meeting family for dinner. I notice I'm ankle deep in water. The tub is not draining. I unscrewed the drain cap hoping it would help. It did not. I reached down and pulled a gawd awful mess out of the drain. Something was at least 12 inches long. Also a little bag with writing came out. Called front desk asking for a manager. None on duty. I requested someone come down right away to see this mess. Front desk clerk and a maintenance man arrived. Desk clerk said I should have called for maintenance. Tough to do in the middle of the shower. I asked for a reduction in price. She couldn't do that but would give me points. Received an email stating I got 2500 pts. Later I call the Marriott 800 number and registered a complaint. He couldn't change the price but gave me an additional 2500 points. Got a case number and was told management would contact me. Will attempt to attach a photo.

The location plus our Marriott Bonvoy points is why we often choose this hotel. The price is right and it has everything you need, but it's really no frills. It has a breakfast room, pool and great staff. The star staff member this time in particular -Justin! There is some type of construction going on and many parking spaces were sacrificed. No available parking for weary travelers post midnight?! Nooooo! However, Justin makes problems disappear even after midnight. Thanks!! They are welcoming to our well trained (LEGIT) service animal, so kudos for that. Rooms are adequate, but nothing more. If you want luxury, you don't come here. Otherwise, it definitely gets the job done. Staff saves it here. Three stars, where it would have been two. Sadly tonight on a busy Mother's Day evening, we just wanted to chill with a simple later evening snack and watch a movie in room. The TV wouldn't connect, so we called down to the desk. NO ANSWER!? Ugh. Also, midday, our keys inexplicably didn't work! Had to go back down and get two new keys. Why?!? All else said, this is a fine mid range lodging for a few days, but nothing special at all. Thanks for following me, happy Spring 2026!

The Front Desk Manager was very polite and genuinely tried his best to assist us during our stay…read more Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the desk employees, who were less helpful and at times dismissive when it came to addressing our concerns. Our guest room itself was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, the television was disappointing. The coloring was off, and the images displayed strangely, making it distracting to watch. It looked so poor that we ended up turning it off entirely. First, the hotel website advertises a heated pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked here. When we went to use it, the water was extremely cold. Thinking something might be wrong, we asked an employee and were told that the room is heated, not the pool itself. This felt misleading, as the online description clearly gives the impression of a heated swimming pool. The condition of the pool area was also concerning. We brought our room towels downstairs and sat near the towel bin by the pool chairs. After realizing the water was too cold to enjoy, we came back to sit down and noticed something crawling on the towel bin. Upon closer look, we saw roaches climbing along the side of the bin. This was extremely unsettling and unsanitary. We immediately left the pool area and called the front desk to report it. After reporting the issue, we received two follow-up calls asking for more details. While we appreciate the hotel taking the matter seriously, the calls quickly became frustrating. The employees repeatedly asked whether we had photos and to describe the exact location of the pests. We did not have our phones with us at the pool, only our room towels, which could be validated on security footage. Despite explaining this, we were asked the same questions multiple times, which felt dismissive of the concern we had already reported. Additionally, both the hotel website and the Marriott Bonvoy app still display photos of a hot tub. We were very excited to enjoy some kid-free relaxation time, only to find out upon arrival that the hot tub no longer exists. When we inquired, we were told the hotel is undergoing renovations and the hot tub was removed. If that's the case, the online listings should be updated promptly, as keeping outdated photos gives guests false expectations. Overall, while the Front Desk Manager was polite and our room itself was clean, the misleading advertising about the heated pool and hot tub, the unsanitary conditions in the pool area, the unhelpful response from desk employees, and the poor quality of the television made this stay very disappointing. We hope management takes action to update the online listings, resolve maintenance issues, and address the pest concerns so future guests can have a better experience.

This is not a resort and spa so please manage your expectations, if you want to be pampered and have a staff at your beckoned call you're probably in the wrong place. This is a hotel for business travelers, for people to stay while attending local events or for those on their way to their final destination so this is location provides all of that and probably more than most options in the immediate area. What I like The ease of making reservations online using the Marriott BONVoy App. Checking in using the app and the virtual room key on your phone. Checking out using the app and an email itemized receipt. Onsite Bistro serving freshly prepared entrée, Starbucks Beverages and alcohol beverages although limited to beer and wine. Small offering of essential items you may have forgotten plus snacks for purchase. Free fresh baked cookie in the afternoon. Check-In amenities for reward members. Accessible Parking. Free WiFi and multiple television cable channels with big screen TVs. Clean rooms and customer welfare areas Everything worked in the guest room with nice bedding and towels. Good daily cleaning of your room if you choose. Onsite contracted security. Very friendly and professional staff. Things I question It would be nice to have the Bistro open by 6:00 am. The cost of bottled water stocked in the rooms $8.00 per liter. Parking lot not very well lit. Electrical receptacles in room needs upgraded (very loose connection). Over all this was a very positive experience and I'll definitely return when visiting the area...

I would highly recommend staying somewhere else if you're visiting the area. Before we even arrived, we specifically called the hotel and asked if all of the renovations were finished. We were told that everything was complete. When we checked in, we were suddenly told that both the fitness center and the pool were closed due to renovations. That was frustrating enough, but what made even less sense was that the pool looked completely ready to use. When we asked why it wasn't open, we were told it was because it was "too cold," which didn't add up. After several days of constantly asking and getting no answers, they finally opened it for us. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the problems. While swimming, I accidentally stepped on what looked like a small black crack in the pool floor. It shattered underneath my foot and sliced open the side of my foot. It was incredibly concerning that the pool was opened when it appeared to have a damaged surface that could injure guests. The service throughout the entire week was terrible. The staff was consistently disrespectful, rude, and dismissive toward our team and our families. We were traveling with a softball team of 14- and 15-year-old girls. Of course, a group of teenagers is going to be louder than the average guests at times, but we were never intentionally disrespectful or harassing anyone. Despite that, we later found out that a staff member had reportedly told her boss that we were harassing her, which was completely untrue and honestly upsetting to hear. The hotel also gave our team an unbelievably small meeting room for around 25 people, even though it realistically only fit about 15. On top of that, the TV didn't work, and the lights barely worked either, making the room almost useless for team meetings. Another disappointing experience involved one of my teammate's moms. She simply wanted to order a drink, but because she didn't have her ID with her at that exact moment, the staff refused to serve her. She calmly explained that she was staying at the hotel, had booked two rooms for her family of five, and offered information that could have easily been verified. Instead of trying to help or checking the reservation, staff members raised their voices at her to the point where she had to remove herself from the situation. No guest deserves to be treated that way. To make matters worse, breakfast wasn't even included. For the price of staying here, having to pay extra for breakfast felt like another disappointment on top of everything else. Overall, this hotel had poor customer service, misleading communication before our arrival, facilities that weren't as advertised, and staff who treated guests with very little respect. There were a few individual employees who were polite, but unfortunately they were overshadowed by the overall experience. I would not stay here again, and I strongly recommend finding a different hotel in the area. There are plenty of places that will treat their guests with far more respect and honesty.
