I was skeptical on the ability to match my 12 year old paint on the stucco and wood siding of our 1963 home. I was more than satisfied and very happy with the work done by Residential Energy Services. Anthony and his crew had obviously done this for some time to be this good and fast. The other surprise was not being woken by the 7am Jet that flies over our house every day! Only bad was not waking up at 7am as usual and being late for that days meeting. Amazing customer service and trademanship. We felt very taken care of by Doug in regards to schedule, explanation of what we were getting, and price. He also helped us file the gas rebate!! His technical guys that drilled the holes, filled the walls and patched and painted the stucco did a flawless job. We love it. Our AC runs less now and heat less as well so we r happy. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I recently had cellulose insulation blown into my attic and walls by residential energy services and Anthony Hernandez. I immediately noticed a big difference in how much cooler my home feels. I think this is an excellent alternative to installing very expensive central air-conditioning. I also like the fact that it will resist pests, insects and rodents as well as provide another level of fire protection for my home. This is not a typical review I would write up but I wanted to let you all know about this company and how creepy and unsettling this guy Dan is. (I think that's his name. So a few months ago Dan stops by telling my husband about this great rebate that the gov. Is having on home insulation. He tells my husband about all the perks and all the folders and info. My husband was interested but we are expecting our first baby, my husband was leaving one job to go back to school to get his masters so he was not willing to go for the "deal". Dan tells him to "cut me a check for $25 to hold your spot. The check will not be cashed until you decide to sign the contract. But if not then it will never be cashed." So my husband said okay and gave him the check and said he would look over stuff and speak with me and we would give him a call if we were interested. Dan left and that was it.. So he thought. Later that same night when I got home from work I found a letter on our door. It was a hand written note from Dan with a $25 dollar gift card to Olive Garden. I was like who's Dan? My husband explained and I was like "we can't afford this right now." About 2 days later Dan shows up at our door again and speaks to us again. And again we say we don't think we are ready for this payment. So he says he understands but it's such good savings. We said we would talk about it and call him if we agreed to it. A few days later he shows up again and this time brings another lady. They talk to us and again we told them look we will call you if we are ready. Since then, I've been home late in the evenings alone, I'm 8 months pregnant, and I don't want any stranger in my home! He's come and knocked on my door a few times and I literally run and hide. I've told my husband and he was upset. All the info on the web and the info he gave us only has this guys Dans info. So how can I complain to the same guy I want to complain about?! Yesterday around 5/6pm my husband and I were home and the bell rang. It was him! My husband told him to leave us alone. Dan asked for his gift card back and told my husband that we owed him because the check bounced! My husband said "what? You said it wouldn't be cashed unless we signed the contract to get the insulation." He had nothing to say. Then said "Man to man can I get the money back?" My husband said "man to man you said the check would be cashed and we never asked you for a gift card. You left that on our door." My husband came in and was like if he comes by one more time call the police. He seriously creeps me out! I'm 2 days away from my due date and now I'm afraid to be alone at home because of this guy! I've been living in my home for 5 years before I had Residential Energy Services insulate my attic and walls recently. We have lived in an older home in Long Beach for over 20 years now. It had zero insulation in the attic. After checking with several companies we recently hired Residential Energy Services to blow R-38 cellulose over the entire attic in Jan 2019. The result has been absolutely unbelievable. The services have decreased the ambient noise from the obnoxious helicopter and consistent 18 wheel fuel tankers that pass by our house. Anthony and his crew know what they're doing! I WAS the biggest skeptic of "blown in" insulation, but now that I know the facts and feel the results, I'm also the biggest convert! After the process was completed, I was a bit concerned that my fears were becoming a reality. The paint color wasn't exactly right and I could still see where the holes were made in the stucco. Doug, the only salesperson I dealt with, drove by on his own after the job was complete and came to the same conclusion on his own. He arranged for Anthony to come back out at no extra cost and with no inconvenience to my schedule, and when I got home from work that day, the house looked like it had never been touched to begin with!... I know you're thinking they should've done it right the first time, but as paint and cement dry, colors can change depending on the amount of sunshine, ambient temperature, and lighting at the initial application. We are very pleased with ACH Services. They got the job done quickly with a lot less noise and mess than I expected. There were holes in the outside walls everywhere (shame on me for not taking before and after pictures), and when they were done, you can't even tell where those holes were. Anthony is an exert at matching stucco/paint. Doug, who was our original contact for the company was there overseeing the project and continually asked me how things were going on my end, if I was noticing anything that needed addressing, etc. Conscientious and professional they were. One wall in particular has full sun on it all day. If you placed your hand on the wall (inside), you could feel the heat radiating off of it. The master bath is along that wall and inside the medicine cabinet, all products were hot to the touch. Now that the job is done, it is amazing how cool that wall and bathroom is. inside the medicine cabinet is now back to a normal temperature. The air conditioning does not go on as frequent and I know we will see lower bills on both air and heat! Very happy customer. If you use them, I have one suggestion, make sure if you have wall fixtures, they are sealed around their wall mount. inside our bathroom, we did have product come through around the wall lights and medicine cabinets.
