Kleen Air Heating, Air Conditioning, & Duct Cleaning

Air duct cleaning went really well! They also cleaned my dryer vent. Very professional, on time,…read moredid an excellent job! I definitely would recommend and would hire again.

I contacted Kleen Air for HVAC work tied to a mold remediation project. While the initial visit was…read moreprofessional, the project ultimately became frustrating due to vague scope objections, poor follow-up, and recommendations that significantly expanded the project scope without clear inspection-based justification. Shawn from Kleen Air attributed window condensation as a major contributor to the home's humidity levels and tied the HVAC remediation work to large-scale window replacement. However, condensation is the result of indoor humidity contacting a cold surface -- it does not create new moisture. Shawn also referred me to Gus at JLS, who recommended major additional work, including full duct replacement, without first performing meaningful inspection or testing. As I continued consulting with additional contractors and my industrial hygienist, these recommendations increasingly appeared disproportionate relative to the actual inspection findings and the more targeted environmental-control approach ultimately implemented. After declining the window replacement approach and proposing a more targeted plan focused on ventilation and whole-house dehumidification, Kleen Air repeatedly communicated -- through both phone calls and email -- that the remediation protocol was not detailed enough to address future liability concerns. However, they never clearly defined what specific measurable requirements they believed were missing. At their request, I spent additional time coordinating with my industrial hygienist to revise and expand the remediation protocol. Ultimately, the industrial hygienist agreed that full window replacement was not necessary, which directly contradicted Shawn's earlier explanation regarding the home's humidity conditions. After receiving the revised protocol from the industrial hygienist, I emailed it back to Kleen Air and followed up with a phone call requesting a response, but never received one. The most frustrating part of this experience was the lack of clear communication, decisiveness, and proactive engagement during a time-sensitive remediation project. Instead of either committing to the work or clearly declining the project, the process dragged on for weeks while critical scheduling decisions remained unresolved. Their inability to provide clear direction or timely responses ultimately placed my entire remediation timeline in jeopardy and forced me to restart portions of the contractor selection process under significant time pressure. At that point, I ultimately moved forward with full HVAC replacement through another provider because I no longer had confidence Kleen Air was willing to actively engage the project or support the timeline required. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Kleen Air for HVAC remediation work. I would strongly encourage others to carefully scrutinize large-scope recommendations, ensure proposed work is supported by clear inspection findings, and be cautious relying on Kleen Air for time-sensitive projects where responsive communication and timely project engagement are critical.

The week of Thanksgiving in the freezing rain and cold, the Anderson boys show up with happy…read moreattitudes and get the all day job done. Always Friendly to the dogs, no snail trail messes left behind like the "other electricians" I've worked with this guys multiple times and I can't say enough about how respectful they are. Leaving everything in perfection and satisfying your needs with quality craftsmanship and service. I'd highly recommend Andersen and so does my wild dog named Betsy, they know her! :) *sorry no pictures were taken for privacy reasons. This is an honest yelp review based from an elite personnel who just so happens to live in a place where I had multiple interactions with Anderson.

Anderson is a top notch HVAC company. We had an original gas furnace and electric AC in our house…read morethat had been running for 30+ years but the furnace was costing us so much money in the winter it didn't make sense to continue to use it for another winter. I did some research on heat pumps and saw there were many incentives to go that route from SMUD rebates to federal tax credits it made the transition easy to go from gas to electric. Initially Seth came out and took a look at the system and spent a lot of time with me explaining the differences and listening to the options I had ran by him to see what would be the best fit for our situation. After explaining everything and recommending the best fit he let us dwell on it for as long as we needed. Throughout the entire process I had a ton of questions and needed clarity of different configurations amongst other things and Seth never hesitated to answer any questions. On the day of install Seth and their team took great care of our home and were respectful of our space and our requests. After every modification I could hear them turn on the vacuum and clean up any mess they made. They left the house spotless it would be hard to tell that there was any work done with how well they took care of everything. After the install, Seth and his team were still helpful. From registering the warranty on the unit to handling all the permits and paperwork, this was the easiest project I have been apart of with any vendor. Anderson has earned a customer for life.
