Response Crew is the ONLY call you need to make for any and every home need you may have! I'm the least handy person but I know enough to be dangerous :) and I'm super picky about having quality work done. As I said...Dangerous! Moving into a new home there were 3000 little things that needed to be done from our list of TO DOs, but they were all so random I didn't think one company could take care of all the various tasks. From HVAC work to hanging a chandelier to re-keying the house to the little things like installing a flag holder into the exterior wall - and everything in between - it was big and small and random! I called Response Crew to simply rekey my house and the owner came within a couple of hours of my same day call. The fact that the company is SO responsive and always answers the phone and can send someone out quickly is another big WIN. When the owner Adam arrived and we started chatting about the move - he heard my list and immediately offered to take things on right then and there. It was already around 7pm so I worried he would want to leave but he volunteered to do what I needed from the list that evening. In a matter of hours half the list was gone. When Adam installed a chandelier, he thought the hardware items the chandelier came with were not as good as they could be. He offered to come back after HE went to Home Depot to get me an updated look. Not only did he install the chandelier that night - but he also offered to come over and upgrade the look at another time. Sure enough when he returned I had more things on the list and he wrapped them up with speed and efficiency. You can always get someone to come over and do work - but the ability to have a company that can do pretty much everything, is SO reasonably priced, is highly responsive and goes the extra mile to get you the best quality possible is why I would and HAVE recommended Response Crew to everyone I know needs work done around the home. Long review - but you get the point. When you work full time or need things done quickly when you need them done - and you want them done right - call Response Crew. I've never written a review on Yelp before but feel so pleased about this company that I knew I had to spread the word about this gem of a company! I am giving Response Crew 3 out of 5 because I feel that I didn't get what I paid for the ​first time they came to the house. Two workers came. Gregg was great but the other one was on the phone A LOT and/or missing whenever I went to check on him. To top it off, he installed a keyless door knob wrong AND cock-eyed. Not to mention it took him forever, just on this one task. I got charged 5 hours for two workers but paid way too much for the service I got, which was mostly by one person, Gregg. I don't think it would have taken 5 hours to do the job, had both of them been competent, reliable and efficient. ​This company had great reviews, which was why I picked it to begin with and I didn't want to be closed-minded​ about it based on one bad worker, plus I wanted them to come back and fix the keyless doorknob (which by the way, I had to wait for them to fix. Something I found disappointing that they didn't address in a more urgent matter since it was their worker's incompetence AND it being my front door) When I called to complain, I made sure to explain that it wasn't the entire job but the job done by this one specific person. As mentioned, I wanted my front door fixed and I had more things that needed to be done so I scheduled for a second visit. I requested for Gregg again and with him, another worker, Angel came to do the rest of the things I needed. Everything turned out great. They were both efficient, timely, knew what they were doing. I even waited to do this review till after I tested everything they did to make sure everything worked out okay, especially​ the hangar they installed in the garage because I had to put boxes on them and wanted to make sure it could hold the weight. If you are unsure whether you should use their service or not, I would say, just request for Gregg and Angel. Those were the guys that came on the second job schedule and they did a great job for me. I give both of them 5 stars. The 3 stars are​ for the charges I got for two people for 5 hours when it really was mostly Gregg who did the work and for not addressing the keyless front door entry mistake made by the other worker. read more

I used Response Crew today for several projects and I'm extremely pleased with the company and the results. Let's start with the bidding process. After sending them some images of what I wanted done along with an explanation, I received a detailed and very clear proposal. It not only set out to a couple of fixed fees for specific tasks, but also clearly indicated how they would bill on an hourly basis for the other tasks. I also want to say that the amounts quoted were very reasonable and, in fact, significantly better than their competitors that I also contacted. Finally, when the final bill came, it was exactly as quoted. No hidden fees, add ons or other items. The Response Crew team member arrived exactly on time and was very friendly and easy to work with. One of our jobs was to install two water heaters so the tech quickly assessed our set up and then, as was agreed and was part of the quote, he went to the plumbing supply and picked up the water heaters I had previously purchased. To replace water heaters, you first need to drain the existing water heaters which takes some time. So the tech appropriately use that time to get started on the other jobs. One of them involved adjusting an outside gate and the tech was very responsive to how I wanted it fixed. We collaborated some, and then he got it taken care of very nicely. Back to the water heaters. The old water heaters were removed, the new ones were installed and, as agreed as part of the quote, they hauled away the old water heaters. All the work was done efficiently and professionally and I'm very pleased with all of the jobs that Response Crew did for us today. So, it should go without saying, we highly recommend Response Crew and we think you should consider them anytime you need repairs and other work done around your home. read more

Excellent service all together. From the initial phone call I made to the office until Hugo left my property, I was beyond impressed and satisfied! I've been a landlord since 2009 and had my fair share of experiences with various service companies and technicians. I hope that anyone that reads this review trusts me when I say that Response Crew and Hugo, the technician that arrived to complete the task, are, by far, the best I had the pleasure to work with! Hugo is a true professional and I highly recommend him and the team at Response Crew! I needed help with the installation of a rather large chandelier from a 12 feet ceiling in my apartment. Fortunately for me they were able to schedule me the same day and within 35 minutes Hugo showed up. He wore a mask and got straight to business. Hugo informed me of every step he made and showed me that the junction box that was initially placed in the ceiling by a certified electrician wasn't even the proper box. Hugo ended up having to cut through the dry wall to replace the box so it could accommodate the chandelier. Not only did Hugo install the chandelier - he ended up also doing drywall patching and painting and he did an amazing and outstanding job from start to finish. When Hugo left it looked as though no one was there - everything was clean and he also disposed of all the cardboard boxes that the chandelier came in. If you wonder about the price - I thought I am going to be charged quite a bit due to the unforeseen drywall repair and replacing the electrical box yet for all the work that Hugo did, it was honestly the fairest invoice I ever received. We were in the middle of a kitchen renovation and needed a dual wall oven and an over the cooktop hood, with venting to the outside, installed. With Christmas just around the corner, we were up against it and had difficulty identifying a capable crew to get it done in time. That all changed when we learned about Response Crew and had a discussion with Jennifer their office manager. She listened, asked important questions, and quickly identified a crew to handle the job and got us on the schedule just a few days out. Talk about efficiency - They verified the job the day before and emailed the morning of the job to say they were on they way along with a photo of Kelly who would be leading the crew. Kelley, Scott, and Jack arrived on time and were all very friendly. They came well prepared - they had even downloaded the specs/install directions for the appliances from the internet and started work immediately. They were very capable, clearly experienced, and handled the minor problems encountered along the way. The work was very well done and it was obvious they cared about the quality of the job they were doing. They were highly efficient and finished the job in just about the amount of time they had estimated. When finished, they took the time to go over carefully everything they had done and made sure we were satisfied with the work. Their cleanup was great and the kitchen, and the outside, were probably cleaner then when they had arrived. We are very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or to recommend them. read more

Response Crew saved the day! They also saved me time and money. Last night our garage door broke - it needed a new metal bracket/hinge and the overhead door to be put back on the tracks. I unfortunately had expected to spend most of my day trying to figure out the best way to solve this problem. The first quote I got from a company that came to my house was $450 - and that included throwing in the part for free - and the part would need to be special ordered and take about a week just to get the part. Next out came Response Crew! The worker (Ami) was very professional and knowledgeable right from the start. He was able to correctly tell me what kind of door I had and that he thought he had the needed part right in his truck. 20 minutes later I had the new part installed by Ami and a fully working garage door back on the tracks. This problem that I thought would take most of my day - and possibly needing to wait a week to get fixed - was finished 20 minutes after Ami of Response Crew arrived. I was free to go about my day by 9:30 a.m. Couldn't be happier with the outcome - and they were able to fix my door for LESS THAN A FOURTH of what the first company had estimated! Woo Hoo - win-win for me! I first used Response Crew a little over a year ago when I hit my garage door and couldn't get it closed. Someone came right out and was able to get the door closed for me. I was told at that time that I could open the door manually but NOT to try and open it with the opener. It would completely break the door. They gave me an estimate at that time for a new door and installation. I wasn't able to do it at that time so had to manually open and close the garage door for over a year. When I could finally get it fixed, Adam came out and honored the estimate given in March 2015 for the new large garage door. I purchased a new opener and he installed that also for me. The smaller garage door was also dented when my daughter hit it and the opener had quit working about six months ago. I asked Adam about the smaller garage door and he told me it wasn't necessary at this time but maybe further down the road, I might want to take a look at getting it done. He fixed the bottom seal and switched the large garage door opener (which was still operational) to the smaller door, installed the new garage door and new opener saying that this way there was one completely new garage door (the bigger one). After having a completely new HVAC system installed in my home, I was in need of some serious sheetrock and molding repair around my attic crawl space opening in addition to repairing a very large hole and can light fixture in my ceiling. Response Crew was hired by my HVAC company to make the repairs to the damaged areas that they had made. I was very nervous about who they would hire and send out to do the repairs and how good of a job they would do matching the texture and paint of my sheetrock/drywall. Response Crew sent David Flores out to do the repairs. David thought it was going to be a quick repair job being that they had only told him about the two holes in my ceiling. I showed him that a can light had also been cut out and removed which meant he would be doing some electrical work as well. Without blinking an eye, he said he would take care of it. David had to go purchase materials needed at a local home center to do the job. After spending many additional hours working on this project he never once complained about it. His attention to detail and the quality of his work was exceptional. I would recommend him to anyone who's needing home repairs. As a poor grad student, I thought I was doomed when the front door to the condo I rent was kicked in overnight. The deadbolt lock and door frame were irreparably damaged, so I was left without a way to lock the only entry door to my home during an extremely busy time in the semester. Luckily, I was quickly contacted by Jennifer with Response Crew after filling out an online form. After snapping a few photos and sending over an e-mail, I was provided with a reasonable quote the very next day. Jennifer understood my situation and that I needed this problem handled quickly and was able to schedule a service appointment within the week. The Response Crew member who fixed my door, Luis, was on-time, friendly, efficient, and went the extra mile: the three cats in my apartment were rather inquisitive of the work he was doing and he made sure that they didn't escape! The finished door looks like nothing ever happened. I was sent an invoice within two hours of the job being completed. The work took exactly as long as quoted, yet the finished project still came in under the quoted budget - a VERY nice surprise. We had used Adam's services last year when we had to rekey our new home and decided to have them over again to replace our locks. Adam quoted a fair price and came by at a convenient time to install the lock I'd purchased. I'd forgotten to get a quote for a chain lock that I wanted installed and Adam was able to mount that as well for an additional nominal fee. Since the new lock's handle was sized differently than the previous one, he had to drill a new hole in the door to install the new handle. By mistake he drilled based on the old handle's measurements, but made sure the wrong drill hole was covered properly with epoxy. There were no visible flaws from this to warrant rework on the door or deduct stars from the review. Other than that, our experience with Adam was courteous and professional, and he even remembered the original job he had done with the rekey. The confirmation of the appointment and the receipt were handled over SMS and email respectively, so they have a good grip of the internet side of the business as well. I would not hesitate to use Adam and Response Crew for future work around the house. read more

Our condo in Scottsdale had a small problem with the front door (doorjamb splintered, lock damaged, unable to secure the premises). Jennifer accepted our call on an emergency basis, considering the circumstances, and was able to get Luis scheduled and on-premises within two hours. Luis evaluated the situation, determined a solution, and began work immediately after receiving our approval. At one point, he had to leave to obtain parts and materials, but was back onsite very quickly, where he remained until the job was completed - not only to our complete satisfaction, but to our absolute delight. He was competent, thorough, and ALWAYS kept the customer's interests in mind. In short, excellent customer skills and excellent service -- professionalism at the highest level. Jennifer was polite, courteous, and showed real empathy for our situation. Most importantly, she understood what we needed AND what we wanted and was able to direct her resources to help us. Gregg was amazing!! He was on time and very professional. He was probably the best handy man I have ever encountered while living in Scottsdale. He was the type of guy who was able to see my vision and offer me a solution. He was really detailed oriented and understood the symmetry I was looking for and how I wanted everything to be installed. He worked really fast and I was impressed how he made sure he cleaned up and I was also impressed how he used painters tape to make sure he was aligning everything correctly. He installed a access door for my Cad 5 lines, shoe rack inside my closet door, heavy curtains, shelves over my toilet, my dyson in my garage and among other items. He added a outlet for my Dyson that was hung inside my garage. I will certainly use them again for mounting my tv and other items. They are worth the money and they guarantee their work. Everyone needs a good Handy Man at one time or another. In the last couple of months we needed this type of service for several small jobs beyond our capabilities or tools on hand. I first saw Response Crews' truck in my neighborhood and just had a feeling this was a good number to have in my phone. So a quick phone photo and I had captured what has turned out to be a blessing. The employees in the office and on the road are great to work with. The crew is on time and call ahead to let you know how far out they are from arrival. They are very professional when they arrive and get right to work. So far we have had some electrical work, some carpenter work and some weather striping done. Couldn't have asked for a better job on all. Service was quick and in our opinion reasonably price. I would highly recommend that anyone give them a call next time you need a Handyman. read more

I had never used a handyman service before. We had just bought a Ikea King size bed with drawers and while my husband knew how to put it together that was a New Years Resolution, no Honey DO'S. I spoke with Adam about 9:30am he gave me a quote, said he could get it done that day, just wasn't sure of the time. It wasn't 10 mins later when John called, said he was 10 mins away and would it be convenient to come now. I was delighted. He came right over, was quite personable but professional. He was a delight to have him in our home.. Went right to work. My bed turned out perfect. The job took just a bit longer than anyone thought and Adam felt bad because his estimate was just a bit off, so he made a slight adjustment in the price.. I was so impressed.
