Large outdoor area with pavilions. Facilities inside were clean, well lit and maintained. Nice indoor vending area!

It was very clean, large, the workers were nice, and they had free Highway Maps and Highway Construction Bulletins.

It is an easy right-hand exit with a straightforward entrance and plenty of parking for both cars and large trucks. It is a good first stop to stretch your legs, take a break from driving, and pick up information about the Bluegrass State before continuing your journey. One of the first things you'll notice after parking is the large horse statue outside the building to the right. It's a fitting welcome to Kentucky since it is well known for its horse farms and racing heritage. Also, marketing-wise, it makes for a great photo opportunity before heading inside. Inside the main building, it is spacious, bright, and very well maintained. It is a large open lobby with a round information desk in the center of the room. There were brochures of lots of the attractions arrayed on the round desk and derby pictures and other sights on the outside of the informational desk. The restrooms are conveniently located on either side of the main lobby, making them easy to find even if you're in a hurry. Everything was clean, both inside and outside. The parking areas were free of litter. Overall, I would certainly recommend stopping here if you're entering Kentucky on I-65. It is a pleasant, convenient, and well-maintained place to begin your travels through the Commonwealth. Enjoy!

Great rest stop for more than a bathroom. But, first, a PSA…read more Please throw your paper towels and TP in the property receptacle. There were used paper towels left on the counter and paper bits on the bathroom floor. Someone was actively cleaning it, but for heaven's sake, be a good human. Lots of bathrooms, no waiting g even on a busy day. This stop is for both sides of the highway. The gentleman manning the info booth was a wealth of information about the local area and beyond. When we told him we were on our way to the dam for fishing, he let us know there was angler parking and river access on the property. We didnt catch anything but we did rehome some wine bottles we found on the bank. I would do another PSA but I am limiting myself to one per day.

The facilities seem to be well-stocked and clean (we stopped twice, once at night on the way into Knoxville and once in the morning on the way out of Knoxville-- the second time during the day there were even two staff members inside to take questions and offer assistance). Plenty of parking for cars and trucks (even parking for veterans-- there's a memorial on the grounds). Green space to stretch your legs and walk around. I appreciated the resources for encouraging folks to quit smoking too. Picnic tables and ample number of trash cans for your trash.

I don't think I could leave a bad review when they all try so hard to make sure your stay is great. It seems genuine too. Also it's so gorgeous everywhere you turn. They have a house car that can take you to a few locations around the city. Pool is beautiful and they have just the right amount of restaurants inside. Only thing missing is a small gift shop. I unfortunately forgot a few things. Thank you, it's a lovely place to stay. Matthew with the concierge is phenomenal, we loved his recommendations. He provided us with a list of Broadway which was so helpful. I am pretty exhausted of being on my phone and using the list was convenient. Brian at the bar is really fun to talk to and very experienced. Excited to get 1 drink tonight.. Afterall I am an Utah native. "E" at the front desk was awesome as well. He helped me manage a few things that spontaneously came up and he handled them all with grace. He also gave me a recommendation to get some artwork done. Everything did work out with that too and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you for listening closely and taking care of all the fine details. You're such an asset to the Conrad. I'm sure we will be back.

They had many gluten free options. The morning before they made gluten free French toast (sorry I didn't take pictures that morning, it was beautifully delicious too!) They were fast, efficient and friendly! Gary and Derrick, the bellman, are the sweetest people ever! They remembered our names, treated us so nice and never made us feel like a bother, no matter what we needed. So attentive and such a pleasure. They make us want to come visit again soon!! Wish I had more pictures of the lobby and rooms because they are gorgeous!
