Restaurant 415 is easily one of the most diet friendly, delicious meals in Fort Collins if you are looking for well-priced, organic cuisine.
The cool, modern atmosphere of the restaurant located a few blocks away from Old Town gives an impression that the menu is as up-to-date as the decoration.
Unlike most restaurants, 415 has strange hours serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner form 5 p.m. to closing and closed on Monday's.
This college-friendly restaurant tailors it's menu to meet the budget of the students in the area, having $3.60, $4.50, $6.30, and $7.20 plates.
The mostly female-staffed restaurant provided warm smiles and great service.
Since it was my second visit, I knew that the menu offered vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options as well as delicious carnivorous meals.
I started off with an Americano coffee, which was very strong and well-brewed for bold tasting coffee drinkers. If you don't like strong coffee, don't order the Americano.
Having tried a meaty BLT last visit, I decided to try a vegetarian option this time.
Hot sandwiches, ranging in price from $8-11, come with a soda, lemonade or iced tea, and your choice of cup of soup or a 415 salad.
I ordered the Más Por Favor sandwich, which was an avocado, cheddar, tomato and roasted jalaeños sandwich made on Udi's bread with a cup of corn chowder.
I visited the restaurant with three of my friends and we all ordered different sandwiches.
I found mine very delicious, but thought the toasted Udi's bread and corn chowder soup were the highlight of the meal. It seemed as if meat was needed on my sandwich.
Having tried bites of all of my friend's sandwiches--the Provinçial, The Gimmie, and the BLT--I found the BLT the most delicious.
You can find the menu on the restaurants website, http://thefourfifteen.com.
The BLT uses a maple aioli, which wrapped up the bacon, tomato and arugula very nicely and added some balance to sandwich.
The Provinçial was easily the most interesting sandwich, which consisted of melted brie, caramelized onions, organic arugula and blueberry jam.
You have to be an adventurous costumer to order this meal, but if you are experimental in your taste-bud department, the sandwich tasted quite delicious, although it was a little on the dessert side with the blueberry jam.
Paying only $12.50, without tip, I found the meal very well priced and great tasting.
The quality of the meal matches the prices accordingly, and when encompassing the atmosphere and service, the experience of Restaurant 415 is undoubtedly satisfying.
I would suggest this restaurant for large parties of people with different dietary preferences, families, and friends.
The restaurant also has a bar and elegant drink menu, but I am underage so I could not review their drinks.
As an overall review, this was a wonderful dining experience and I would recommend it to all of my friends and family if they were in the Fort Collins area. read more
