To state the obvious, the space is gorgeous! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're in a different world far away from Fort Collins. It's the perfect place for a date night or a girls night out. Our group was seated at a booth by the window and had a beautiful view of the holiday lights downtown. We didn't order food during our visit so I can't speak to that, but the drinks were delicious. I was driving so decided to go with a mocktail. I loved that it was served in what looked like an adult sippy cup in the shape of a flamingo. It was whimsical, fun, and on theme. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great understanding of the drink menu. She gave us recommendations and plenty of time to decide what we wanted since our group was more focused on chatting than looking at menus when we sat down. I'd visit Sugar, Salt, Sand again. I plan to visit again especially when the weather is nicer and I can enjoy dining al fresco on their beautiful rooftop terrace.

Spicy mayonnaise Salmon Poke and Funghi Pizza.

Wife and I went for our Anniversary (we told them how long we were married) since we thought it would be comforting being both born and raised on Oahu. We just visited Honolulu a few weeks ago and wanted to have something familiar and special. We ordered the Funghi pizza to share and ordered the spicy mayonnaise ahi and salmon poke. My wife got sick an hour after our dinner and we went straight home after. Ambience was ok, food was mediocre, and the staff was ok. We waited a bit to be seated and receiving our drinks. To my local kamaiana, I recommend you go to another restaurant and don't waste your time here. You will find better luck at L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Kona Hawaiian BBQ or even Marcuz Boba Tea Shop, Filipino & International Restaurant. They did not even offer any dessert or something acknowledging our anniversary (not that they needed to but would have been nice for a repeat guest). Pretty sad... No Aloha. Better luck at other restaurants for any celebration.

Food was amazing. Service was great and fun!! 100% recommend. Atmosphere was do fun. Drinks was so good and in fun cups.

Good food awesome vibe killer beverages. This place is adorable and I can't wait to come back

Went in for lunch and conveniently slipped in during happy hour. Ordered a calamari to hopefully share, and although delicious, I overestimated the quantity for a happy hour serving (my fault hehe). Ordered the catch of the day, which absolutely slapped. Their fries were delightful. But their ceviche was pretty bland and a let down compared to everything else. The vibe in here was immaculate and I wish I had the courage to steal a propagation from their pretty pothos vines(jk). Would come again!

Amazing pizza and cocktails! The vibe on the patio is unmatched in old town Fort Collins! Hats off to Jon and his team.

Much better coffee available around town. Espresso martini: 5/5 very dark. Great place to work with colleagues or alone. People seem to like to meet up here and talk vs work though. The electrical outlets are SPARSE. More about community than an extended office.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

It was perfectly salted and the bed of argula it was on had this delicious pesto drizzle omg. And don't even get me started on the tomatoes!!! Then we split the Bolognese and the vodka ravioli. The server came around and gave us freshly grated parm and freshly cracked pepper omfggggg!!!! The bolognese was good but the ravioli blew it out of the water it was sooo cheesy and the vodka sauce was unreal. The tiramisu was delicious. It wasn't a lot of chocolate and coffee mostly the cream which was light and airy and perfectly sweet. And it came w a cute flower garnish!

Starting off with the good - the service was good. The manager had a lot of positive personality. In general, the service staff is trying their best and there's no negative attitude. Great ! The ambiance was nice. Business appropriate , date appropriate. Nice night out level. However, the food. The most important part of dinner. Sadly, it was a bit disappointing. - meatballs: tasted processed. Not made from scratch. It may be the blend or the seasoning or both, but this was not something worth ordering at all. 3 small meatballs. A bit on the dry side. - the mushroom appetizer. Hardly any mushrooms on the middle of the fried outside. Really it was a shell of fried outside breading and very little of what resembled the taste or texture of mushrooms. Pass on this. -fungi pasta - this wasn't bad, but not a standout. 3 stars. Probably the best thing I ordered. - short beef ravioli - I'm not trying to be critical or harsh but this tasted like something I can buy as a microwaveable meal at Trader Joe's. Huge disappointment. If I needed a nice place to discuss business , I may go in to get drinks and light food. But if you're a foodie , or remotely emphasize food as an important part of a meal, I would probably pass, at least for now.

We ordered fries with the burger and also had the lightly fried cauliflower as an appetizer. The cauliflower was very good. The place has a decent size bar to sit at and a lot of tables . Good place for a larger group as they have plenty of space to push tables together. The indoor decor and feeling is very relaxed and comfortable. There is also a good size outdoor area with lots of tables and umbrellas. Would be so nice on a warm day. The service was great. Very helpful, attentive servers. I'm only removing one star because I've had two exceptional experiences. Am really disappointed by tonight's experience. ********* Really good food and really good service. On our last visit we had Derek as our server and he did a great job! The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable. As a typical party of 5, I very much appreciate having a table that actually seats 5 and not a table for 4 with a chair pulled up. We will continue to return.
