Small yet cozy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The atmosphere changes for dinner with linen table cloths & candles. Service is spot on. Definitely worth a try. Breakfast & lunch are very inexpensive. Credit cards.

I LOVE ADOBES! When I get the opportunity to visit Puerto Vallarta I have to come and have a meal here! The staff is so warm and welcoming! Their agua frescas are always a mystery because they go by what the seasonal fruit is! It practically feels like gramma is back there in the kitchen whipping you up a meal and it's always perfect! Popular spot amongst the locals! That should say something! Parking is limited. They also have the menu in English, So it's tourist friendly! Go check them out! It's totally worth it! Also FANTASTIC prices for their take on what would be " fast food" or comida rápida as they call it!

From the moment you enter Adobe Restaurant, you feel like a member of this family run business. They are so welcoming and friendly, and this truly makes the entire dining experience. They began by welcoming us with a complementary bean tostada that was delicious. As a vegan, I appreciated that they had a vegetarian section of the menu. Some items could be made vegan, and their beans are also vegan. I had the Chilis en Nogada and it was somewhat overcooked, but still tasty. My husband had the special of stuffed mahi-mahi and he ordered enchiladas to take home with him. He loved both meals. We will definitely be back!

We stumbled into Adobes during our walk around Zona Romantica. We have been in search for a local eats and so glad we found them. Food was amazing. Service was excellent. We love the family run business. I recommend their mussels and their seafood specials. Their drinks were so good. I had piña colada (not my normal go to) but it was fantastic. We enjoyed the romantic soloist and guitarist. Made our dinning experience so romantic. This is now one of our favorite places to dine in PV. I highly recommend. Cheers!

A real delight and locals favorite. Food is extra fresh , generous portions , well prepared and served professionally for a fraction of the costs of tourist restaurants. The row of restaurants and taco stands near are all local and very good. At Adobe, the Chef prepares himself and the staff and servers are very attentive to the order so as to deliver your fresh quality & delicious food. They serve lunch and dinner and have menu specials. They also have wines and beer. We enjoy here often and share a generous tip so they can maintain there small business and allow them to continue sharing with all. Adobe, a small gem of a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Call ahead or walk over, sometimes you need a reservation.

Small place run by a bunch of great people. Reading other reviews it looks like it can be hard to get into without a reservation. Our group of 5 were able to just ease on in due to the current state of tourism and pandemic. I sure hope we can get here again when times are better. We all were very happy with the food we got and the prices. I think this might be considered a bit higher then average but low priced for the quality and service they offer. I felt like I got a $20 meal for $10. For me personally and for our group we were thrilled that portions were good but not overly huge. We don't want to be burdened with leftovers so I am always looking out for places that don't overdo it on the serving. There is nothing i can say bad about this place, one of our better meals on vacation

Adobe is a Spanish word meaning to be sourced from the earth. It is a perfect name for this eatery. From the fresh chips and guacamole, shrimp and steak fajitas with warm flour shells we enjoyed. The authenticity and ingredients were terrific. The ambiance is quaint and local music adds to this experience. The chef and the waiter were most accommodating as my husband has some food restrictions. Not only were they gracious but happy to make this experience top notch. It would have been a 5 star if they had outside seating which is one thing we really enjoy. Worth your time and taste buds.

    Coconut Shrimp was delicious!

While the wait can be a bit unpredictable, it's usually not too long, especially during the summer. However, if you visit in the winter, it can take a while. The food here is reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The only thing that confuses me is the fruit water of the day. The cups are incredibly small, and for 30 pesos, I expected more. I've noticed that some tables have their water refilled, while others have been changed. I'm not sure if this is a policy or just a coincidence. The service is okay, but nothing extraordinary. They have a limited number of tables and don't have air conditioning, so it can get quite hot inside and outside. However, you're here to eat and go, so don't expect a sit-down experience. One important thing to note is that they only accept cash. So, make sure to bring some pesos with you.

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. I got a virgin strawberry margarita, the wife got a coke. It was very affordable.

The ribeye had so much fat that we had to pick through it just to eat it. The al pastor was very average - I've had much better at plenty of other taco spots. The biggest disappointment was the chorizo. It wasn't traditional chorizo at all; it looked and tasted more like chopped-up hot dogs. We barely touched it because it wasn't what we ordered expecting, and it just wasn't good. The presentation also wasn't appealing. The meat was simply piled on top of two tortillas, making everything messy and difficult to eat. They were also pretty stingy with the grilled jalapeños. The salsas didn't do the food any favors either. None of them really stood out, and the green guacamole salsa actually tasted like it had gone bad, so we stopped eating it. Service was attentive, but almost too attentive. Staff kept coming by every few minutes to ask if we were finished or if we needed anything. While I appreciate good service, it made us feel like we were being rushed through our meal instead of being able to enjoy it at our own pace. Overall, I don't understand the high ratings based on our experience. With so many amazing taco spots in Puerto Vallarta, this one didn't come close to meeting the hype. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.
