I was in the area and I asked Gemini where the closest place to where I was that I could get an ice/food scoop. It told me US Foods Chef Store was the closest place to get one, so I made the trip! I was impressed at the selection and quality of the food items here, as I made my way to the ice/food scoops. While I was impressed at the food selection, I was not as impressed. They only had two sizes in stock, one was way bigger than I needed, and the other was too small to be useful to me, so I had to go back to Gemini to go get help finding my right size scoop! I must recognize the employees on my visit. They were very friendly and super helpful!

I was lead here randomly because I saw they offered restaurant quality baby high-chairs (you know those wooden ones). I hate the plastic over $100 ones they sell in mainstream stores, the legs are cheap and annoying. I love the simplicity and effectiveness and style of restaurant quality high-chairs so was able to get these brand new in box for $25. I am so thrilled. The man working there was super helpful even though I am not a huge buyer, he helped me find a good deal on plates and bowls. He was a great man to help me. I will definitely be back to buy more kitchen utensils and cooking equipment. I should have bought some pitchers and coffee stainless steel creamer pourers, but I didn't have much time, I'll be back to the store soon.

This place buys equipment from auctions and closed businesses and say that all products have a warranty, when in reality, many manufacturers wont offer warranty to equipment bought at an auction. If your equipment breaks down, you're most likely SOL and out thousands of dollars. You can use it immediately as a virtual card or request a physical version that will be mailed to you. Sound simple enough? It is! And it's awesome!!! *UPDATE* Even if you don't qualify for studies you can still get paid for filling out screening questionnaires by earning points for each one you complete. As of now, it's 10 points per questionnaire. 100 points equals $1 with a minimum of 1000 in order to cash them out for a visa gift card. In all the years that I've been a panelist for Curion they have never missed a single payment, whether it's for participating in a study or redeeming points. Even late payments are extremely rare. My friends and family members, who are also panelists, haven't had any issues either. So, it's a real mystery to me why there are reviews (here and outside of Yelp) with complaints about payments.
