Yes, it's a tourist trap, near the Sagrada Familia quarters, just a short walk away.
Either way, we knew we were going to be tourists, touristing around, paellaing around and sangriaing it around. And that's totally ok!
We came here for lunch before our 3 hour walking tour of the Sahara Familia, its quarters and a bit of Gaudí. Fadel was our wonderful server which recommended us what to order AND even pointed out the tequeños that the neighbor makes and sells at the restaurant.
I was mind blown to be randomly eating tequeños in the streets of Barcelona. Still a cool experience haha.
If I didn't say this was touristy enough, they had every single photo imaginable of the menu - what tourists love to see. So don't worry, you won't get lost or confused ordering with your eyes. They have all kind of tapas staples and even vegetarian paella (which is what we got). The sangria was HUGE. I tried getting the white sangria but sadly it was way too sweet and artificially for me so they kindly changed it for the regular red sangria. It was perfect, it was large and I truly enjoyed it!
Great little spot for lunch, awesome servers and a great time people watching. Definitely order the HUGE sangria, it's not the most incredible one in the world but it's fun and you'll love it :) read more
