This looks yummy, and it's a dino themed dessert! Mmmm!
Louisa M.

I AM NOT GIVING THIS PLACE 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE FOOD. In fact, don't come here for the food (it's crappy, fried, cheap, theme park junk), but do stop inside for the air conditioning and the AMAZING theming! If you love dinosaurs or have a kid that's wild about dinos, Restaurantosaurus is an attraction in its own right. It is SO MUCH FUN to explore all the dinosaur-themed stuff that's packed inside. It's kinda like a paleontologist's TGI Friday's. The food is boring and overpriced (think french fries and chicken nuggets), and I've never eaten here. I DO come here for the fountain sodas, because customers can fix their own (which also means you can get your own refills: something almost unheard of at the Disney theme parks). Be on the lookout for cast members that roam about the restaurant, some singing with guitars and others playing the part of fossil hunters. There's plenty of seating, a bar / lounge next door, and the restaurant is tucked away in the back of the park, making it an excellent place to chill and relax (and if you must, a quiet place to make a work phone call if necessary).

I love this quick snack place. It's themed from an expedition looking for anything related to dinosaur. The place is Disney typical cafeteria style with lots of seating and Ac. You can mobile order (and should to save lots of time). The menu is mainly quick stuff like Burger, chicken nuggets, hot dog and such. There is a long list of allergies friendly stuff. The drink here are serve yourself and it's one of the best spot to refill water bottles because the water here doesn't have a weird taste like most places in Disney. Service is fast at counter. Staff is friendly. Great spot to cooldown on hot days and grab a small snack to share.

Restaurantosaurus is a solid quick service option for your standard Theme Park options for food. You can't go wrong with your burger, chicken tenders, and hot dog options and Restaurantosaurus offers it well. They even have a small bar built in for the adults to unwind a little during the meal. Definitely a little something for most families. Restaurantosaurus is located in Dino Land at Disney's Animal Kingdom. At the time of my visit they were accepting both mobile orders through the My Disney Experience app as well as in-person orders at the restaurant. There is ample space to sit and eat your meal both inside and outside with a mix of various table sizes that will suit many party sizes. Aside from the standard items I noted above, their menu also offers a fried chicken sandwich, an impossible burger, and Cobb Salad with Chicken. They have a modest toppings bar and sauce selections in the dining area for guests to add to their meal. Additionally, the restaurant has the drink station on the outside of the ordering area to allow for unlimited refills. A nice touch for those hot, humid Orlando days. We were a party of three and our order consisted of the fried shrimp and chicken tenders platter, the chili cheese dog, and chili cheese fries. The shrimp and chicken tenders offered a lot and was sharable between two adults in our group. Fried to perfection and not too greasy. The chili cheese dog was a true foot in length. Also a great choice to feed us after a long morning in the park. Though the food was typical to what you would expect from an amusement park, Restaurantosaurus executed it well. I would recommend Restaurantosaurus for a quick, convenient, and affordable bite to eat, especially for families with selective palettes. There is a little something for everyone and will get the job done to ensure everyone is fed and ready for the next leg of your park day. (NOTE: You must have valid park entry to Animal Kingdom to eat at Restaurantosaurus. At the time of our visit, no discounts were being applied including Annual Passes, dining plans, etc. )

This restaurant is located inside Disney's Animal Kingdom. You need a pass/ticket to enter the park and in order to eat here. It is located in the DinoLand area of the park. We eat here every time we are with the group because of their kids but I have to say it is not my first choice. This is unfortunately your typical theme park restaurant, burgers, chicken, fries, salads, etc. I would highly recommend using the Disney App and mobile ordering your food. It will avoid really long lines and you can look for a table while they prepare your food. There are separate lines once your food is ready and all you need to do is show your app and grab your food. The app also has pictures of the food, so you can see what it looks like. (I enjoy knowing what my food should look like before eating it). They also have everything listed for allergies: soy, peanut, gluten, milk, the big ones and what you can and cannot have. What I don't like about this restaurant: 1. The food can be so much better, but it is your typical theme park 2. My chicken sandwich was not fully cooked, still very watery and on the slight verge of pink 3. The burgers are thin and dry 4. There are not a lot of options for healthy food, it is really just a salad 5. I am not a vegetarian but again, if you are, there are really only 1 or 2 options for you 6. It is crowded if you go during lunch. Our group was large, so we had to split up 7. All of our fries were cold, crispy but cold 8. The prices are out of control. My husband and I paid $40 for two meals and two drinks Now what I enjoy about this location: 1. Kids like it- this is why we go when we are with our friends and their kids 2. Refills on your fountain drinks (If I am going to be forced to pay $4 for a fountain drink, you better believe I am getting a few refills!) This is by far the best thing about this location, part of why we go when we are with our friends and their kids and one of the only locations at Animal Kingdom that offers refills. 3. The salad was good, I should have gotten that instead, my husband and our friend enjoyed it (just please put it in a larger container) 4. The mobile ordering! Do it! It will save you time and energy 5. The restaurant itself is very large, lots of seating. Can be difficult with a large group and if you go during peak lunch time 6. The have alcohol beer, wine and margaritas 7. The fries are the thin fries, love that! This place is fine, there are a lot of options when dining at Animal Kingdom. It is not my personal favorite but its ok. It could be better; they have a few things to work on but its ok. I would say check it out, if you are in the area, its quick service so you can take it to go or eat there.

Smoresaurus shake (s'mores shake)
Vivien L.

I ordered a Smoresosaurus Shake (s'mores shake) thinking it would be a cold, typical vanilla flavored shake with s'mores add ins. It wasn't. It tasted like liquid/drinkable whipped cream or frosting. It wasn't cold or ice cold. The drink was the same temperature as your normal whipped cream or frosting on a cake. I didn't drink that much before throwing it away. Overall it was a too sweet and bad flop.

Impossible- Spicy Southwestern Burger

Grabbed a quick bite here in between riding rides. My husband and I shared the impossible southwestern burger and Cobb with chicken salad. I enjoyed the Cobb salad but the impossible burger was underwhelming. The vegan cheese did not melt which left a hard texture.

This is a good spot for kids. The foot-long hotdogs are amazing and huge! The burger was also delicious. The downside is they give you enormous drinks but no lids. You have to walk pretty far with drinks on a tray without spilling. It's quite a feat!

Hands down the lounge attached to this restaurant has to be the best bar in Animal Kingdom! We went here based on a recommendation and boy were we blown away! After walking the parks all day and checking out the outdoor bars we ventured into this tucked away lounge which is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Once inside we enjoyed the AC and plenty of available seating. The bartender Jimmy was great, we didn't know what to order so he asked us a couple questions and made a drink for us that was ammmazing! If you're at Animal Kingdom you should try this place at least once!

Dined here with my fam of 6 during last Disney Animal Kingdom visit during Covid. Classic diner food: sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, burgers, desserts, etc. It's quick service, where food was ordered via an app. Variety comes at the expense of quality. Not terrible but not great, especially for the price (but that's convenience cost).

We sat down to get a bite to eat we placed our mobile order and waited for our food to be ready for pick up. We were lucky to find a seat in the shade it does get crowded so place your order early and pick up when you would like to eat. We had hamburgers and hotdogs along with fries and everything was good not the best but good

Based on the kids meal only. You will pay over $11 for your kiddo and watch them closely as they try to leave things off your tray. Look at what you will get in the pics. 3 small chicken pieces, smaller than my small finger and 5 fries. Also a Cutie mandarín and small water, that I had to circle back for. Am I kidding? I so wish I was. Animal Kingdom is not known for its food and this spot should be skipped completely!! $11 parents for nothing. Pack ur own food for the kiddos and skip this completely.

Footlong chili cheese dog with fries
Stephen M.

I realize we were at Disney and everything is expensive but I do expect a better experience throughout the parks. The service here is slow but at least the cast members are friendly. It took an extremely long time just to place our order and because we had an allergen warning for one person it took three times as long to receive our order. Once we received our food it was basically lukewarm but did taste good. I ordered the footlong chili cheese dog with onions and pickles which they put on the side. What I didn't realize was that this was a jumbo hot dog that is clearly just over a footlong. This was way too big for me but I also don't like to waste and I knew we'd be going around the park. While we were waiting for our order I saw 15 or 20 of these go out and mine had a lot more cheese than any other one I saw. I double checked before I ordered it that it was an all beef hot dog. I have to say that it was really good but it did have too much cheese. Conveniently I was able to use the french fries to dip in the chili and cheese to help make it a little easier going down. As the french fries were almost cold it also helped with the flavor. We of course dined inside and it was extremely busy and difficult to get around to a table with a wheelchair. We did manage though.

S'moresosaurus Shake

Quick service cafeteria style place. Rating based on what it is for what it is. Stopped by for an afternoon dessert this time. S'more shake was good. Shake could have been a bit thicker. Interesting though. Different than just a plain shake or ice cream.

After my visit I can confirm: that's exactly right. Let's start with the good, because some of it is genuinely great. The space is clean and well maintained, with staff actively clearing and resetting tables at an impressive pace. For a fast casual concept, the fact that food is brought directly to your table is a thoughtful touch that elevates the experience above its category. And then there are the fries. My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. I'd return -- the fries alone make it worth it. But I'd experiment with a different sauce and temper expectations on the chicken itself.
