It's been a few years since I was last in this neighborhood and I was under the impression that a different pizza place was in this spot, but I was mistaken. Last night's thunderstorm delayed my evening plans so I went here to grab a bite to eat but turned around when I saw it was crowded. I walked around the block for a bit and then decided to place a to-go order. When I went to pick up my food about 30 minutes later, the place had cleared out and was practically empty. I had the Bosque and a side of breadsticks. The pizza was good but for a while I couldn't figure out what these little burnt strands were that kept falling off my pizza. I took a closer look and noted the dark green under the burnt black color and realized they were small strips of basil. I saved half the pizza for later because I got a large 16" which was way too much for one sitting. The breadsticks were ok but they were really soggy and greasy. With tax and a tip the total was just under $40. I might come back again if I'm in the area. read more

A good spot for fresh pizza. Good for groups with large tables inside and outside. The staff was friendly and the pizza came out quick! I thought the Hawaiian would be my favorite but the La Trufa came out on top! We didn't try their beer and cider but they have lots of options. read more

For starters, the pizza is just really good. It's been consistent every time I've come to order. This review is more about the manager Al. He has been so kind to me personally, and I've seen the same treatment of others. Ive skated in the door late a couple of times, as they are closing hoping to get a pie. Al has always made sure I get fed! We were heading to the river super early in the morning and just really didn't want to cook for our large group of friends crashing at my house, and as the restaurant was closing he personally made three pizzas for me to take home. Then another person came in begging for a pepperoni and he took care of that group as well. Long story short...I know it's a pain in the ass to come in late as a restaurant is closing, but Al was the picture of customer service. Thanks man. read more

This will probably be my "go-to" pizza spot now in Santa Fe. I think GOOD pizza options are severely lacking here. Location is on the Railyard next to Opuntia across from movie theater. There is metered parking (credit card or app payment) as well as the covered parking garage area. I've been to the location in Albuquerque and I honestly liked this location a little better. Ordered a small La Luz (Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Bacon Crumble, Red Onions, Spinach, Ricotta) and a medium Hawaiian (Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Thick-cut Bacon, Pineapple) both ordered well done. Everything was very good! I really enjoy their crust. It's that chewy but light, big bubble crust, lightly sweet kind of vibe that for me is the first sign it's probably going to be some good pizza. Toppings were generous but balanced. Came out super hot and fresh. We left with a full box of pizza to take home. The small is definitely enough to share if you add a salad or appetizers. For two pizzas and two sodas the total was $33 which is really well priced to eat out especially in Santa Fe. Before we went I checked other reviews and there were complaints about the service. Granted we were the only people in there this afternoon the service we received was attentive and genuine so I hope to have the same experience next time we go, which will be soon! read more

A nice stop for a Sunday afternoon. It has been months since I sat down for a pizza and beer. This was worth the wait. The restaurant had a good crowd, no wait. The server was friendly and attentive. Sampled a few beers and landed on a "build your own" sausage, green chile and extra cheese. Was worth the abstinence! The sausage was chunk style, not ground. A nice pizza place with a great beer selection close to one of the touristic areas, hence we were tourists lol We were passing through Santa Fe, and wanted to have some pizza & beer. I wish they also offered a parking spot, but we didn't see any, I am assuming they don't... So, we parked across the train station and walked to the restaurant. It's a nice and clean restaurant, has plenty of booth seating and long tables. Good for big groups. We were a party of 2. Seated immediately more like in the back of the restaurant -front tables were taken. They offer lots of house pizzas by order, and also, you can create your own. We went with a large size of 'La Trufa' and Jalapeno Poppers as the starters. Our server was very nice and friendly. Jalapeno Poppers were awesome!! One of the best I have had so far. Seems like it was one of the new additions to the menu, and I am glad they did. We started with them and finished them quickly. Peppers filled out with lots of yummy cream cheese and fried perfectly. They used a very generous amount of cheese. Loved it. La Trufa was good. We ordered the large size thinking of having some left over for later. The dough cooked perfectly, however, the topping wasn't separated evenly. The price wise, I think it is average for a large pizza from a restaurant. We also tried their draft beer. They have a beer menu, and besides that, they have another beer list at the top of the bar. Don't forget to check it out before ordering. I got Pistol Pete's 1888 Ale, and my partner got Beer Meets Coffee. They were both awesome. One of the cons of the restaurant is the restroom though. It wasn't that clean restroom for a restaurant. The cleanest level is somewhat like a club restroom level. The other cons is the dogs in the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a dog-friendly restaurant, yet I love dogs and everything. The place is cool enough for my friends, the kind who want to order beers with funny names (i.e. Flat Earth, Flying Fart, Tampon 666, et al.) and pretend they taste good. It has an inviting, minimalistic and urban atmosphere, and it's in the hippest part of Santa Fe, just steps from the train, so I could see returning, especially considering the self-serve refills, atypical appetizer/dessert options, and friendly servers (wait, she was here a second ago...). Maybe I should order a Smoke Break Stout (4.9%). But, then again, I might try something else. As my wife put it, that didn't taste like a $21 pizza. read more

While the pizza was okay the service has abysmal. The loud caustic red headed woman at the bar yelled in a grating voice the entire time we were there. She brought our pizza without plates or napkins so we had to wait to eat it. No one seemed to want to refill our drinks when we asked the loud redhead she filled it to about a quarter full. She seemed to be more interested in hitting her vape than helping customers. We would have gotten our own drinks but the machine had a sign on it that says the FDA guidelines only allow the staff to refill drinks (wtf?). When we were ready to leave no one came to take our payment so my wife went to the bar to pay. She was ignored for a good five minutes. When they finally did help her they said they saw her there but, since it wasn't their table, they didn't think they could help her. I need to add that the place was not busy enough for the wait staff to be so lackadaisical in their jobs. Our waitress walked by our table many times and looked directly at our empty cups and did nothing. Lousy service all around and it's too bad because the pizza wasn't half bad. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a bar full of local beers. The service was quick and attentive. The pretzel bits with beer cheese sauce were amazing. They were soft and doughy. The flavor was so so good. The pizza selection looked great, but we chose the Roadrunner. The pizza was good, but could have used a little more sauce. We got the Apple crisp for dessert. Every time I've been to restoration pizza, they are low staff and the wait time is SO LONG (I recognize it's not the staffs fault, they are trying their best) but it's bad vibes when the staff is running around playing cookin' mama (ifykyk). Ive wanted to try this place for some time so after a movie last night we gave it a go. I was VERY impressed with the cashier whe seated us, took our order, served us, and she was really hustleing throughout the entire evening and polite, and very customer savvy. Our pizza was really worth the visit, covered with delicious items and the crust was to perfection. My only negative was watching the help. Other than the lady I mentioed prior, the table busters really have had no training. It was actually painful watching a young buster attempting to clear/clean a booth. What should have taken less than two minutes literly took her over 15 minutes. She had no tub to collect pizza tins, glasses, etc, so she had to make many trips to the kitchen with her hands full. I felt so bad for her. When I asked why she wasnt using a table I was told the entire resturant has ony ONE tub. Speaking as a retired Silicon Valley CEO (Who has bussed tables many times) I would strongly suggest management get a handle on this; PROPERLY train the help, invest in some tubs, and get rid of the guys who just pretended to look busy but did nothing. Because so many tables took so long to clear, it gave an unclean appearance and caused long waits to be seated. Ill be going back but I sincerely hope they take some polite advice. read more

Really great veggie pizza. LOVED IT!! I'm not even a vegetarian but I do know good vegetable combinations. This one that they created (with pesto) was perfect for me. So I have been going to resto for years and I live and work in the railyard ... I love everyone there but unfortunately a couple bad seeds have ruined that for me and my family! I went in one evening and I was headed home from work and had a 6 pack of beer unopened Ofcourse . The server Nicole was sooo rude To me the moment I walked in the door . Said you can't have that in here and in a very aggressive tone witch if she was used to this industry she'd know it's perfectly legal . She then was just rude from then on she didn't serve us I had to go up to bar to get my beers from Darin . She then was whispering around about me and my friend so I asked why are you being so rude she proceeded to say rude things and it escalated to a place of her walking off shift and me happily leaving after a tiff of words . I then went back and apologized and was told by Al the drunk looking manager that I was no longer able to come in . I find that disheartening we have been great customers and have always been kind . Al who always looks intoxicated on the clock slurring speech is a liability to this establishment . Nicole has no customer service skills and is plain rude and it's sad that they lost great people cause of two new employees with low level skill set . read more

Honestly I do not understand the complaints about slow service here. I roll in after an eight hour nine minute drive in a '95 Daytona Violet BMW from Highland Park in Dallas, counting the pit stop in Amarillo (I have this down to a science), I always sit at the counter, and the Supreme Pizza with Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Green Bell Peppers, Red Onions arrives fast and hot, hits the spot, and I then roll over to a quiet safe street, into my sleeping bag, and I am gone at sunrise. I was dragged here and was not really wanting to eat pizza. Buy once we got inside the vibe was so chill. The waiter very attentive, quick, and knowledgeable. Our order consisted of 2 beers, restoration bites cheese pizza and the June special. It was Korean BBQ and was recommended by the waiter. Can I just say WOW the taste was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza experience here. The cauliflower crust is legit. The staff is super cool. Stephanie & Noah do a terrific job of serving. I was able to half up the customized pizzas with a Bosque & Green Chile Cheeseburger pizza without a fuss. I love the seating in the back and it does wonders for the nostalgia of the once occupied space of Flying Star Cafe. The conversations here are a joy and it's within walking distance to so many cool spots. I recommend this spot for anyone wanting to enjoy a leisurely stroll to grab a bite in the railyard. The staff here are super friendly. They take good care of their customers. As a Santa Fe local I love to see spots where people are treated with kindness and respect. read more

Walk in, two adults two children, Monday at around 5:30. There's a wait, no big deal. Beer I want is out, no big deal. It turned into a weird comedy of errors after that, absolutely no communication between people working. I really don't know how else to describe it. Apparently the beers weren't pouring and I could see an HVAC guy walking around but the way the wheels seriously came off had nothing to do with either of those things. We're sat after 10-15 min as expected but it's another 10 minutes to take our order. It's busy but not packed, maybe above average for a Monday? They're out of their only vinaigrette for a house salad, okay. Medium sausage pizza and a root beer. Really simple order. Salad comes and the server tells us she'll be back with silverware, then the pizza shows up and we're still waiting. I tried to find where to grab them on my own because I hate to bug anyone, so I chase down the one who promised they were on the way to be told we don't have any wrapped? I don't care, I'm not eating my salad with my fingers, gimme a damn fork. Against my better judgement I order a second beer while we also try to get a brownie and ice cream (spoiler: they were out). I had to ask a second time for my beer and they sent us some Resto Rolls on the house which were somehow piping hot but completely raw in the middle? We have been to Restoration before. Have had mixed experiences being waited on/or not waited on as it may be. Tonight was beyond bad. Waiter,only one, when we got there and he was running around like crazy. Took orders on the booth in front of us then behind us and kept saying I'll be right there. More staff arrived still no one waited on us although an older man also said a few times to us I'll be right there. After about 30 minutes we left. Pretty poor service 3 out of the 4 times we've been. Needless to say we won't return. read more

Waited at the "please wait to be seated" sign for a while and the 7 employees hanging out just stared at us. Eventually a guy behind the bar said it seat yourself...(might want to pick if it's wait to be seated or seat yourself). After waiting for 10 minutes for menus we waited another 15 minutes. Server then sat 4 other tables and got their orders. We were literally in the middle of the restaurant and surrounded by those she was not ignoring. She then came up and actually admitted she forgot we were there...HOW?! We are literally in the middle of your section and were your only table for 10 minutes. 4 tables that sat long after us got there food before we did and we only ordered 1 pizza. We were there 2 hours because they just can't get their stuff in order. It was like a restaurant in Shaun of the Dead...just a bunch of staff roaming around, not paying attention and not giving a you know what. If I ever go back it'll be too soon. Might need to cross the street so I don't have to walk by while I recover from the nightmare that is this place. I give it till the end of the year. Pizza was bland...good texture crust but how green chile and spicy sausage can have no taste is actually impressive. Good food, really weird atmosphere though. Why not open the front door and have a nicer atmosphere? One will never know. If you like good pizza, it's an alright place. The service is not good because they only seem to have 2 employees working at a time who are never available.
