IMO, in a bbq joint, the bbq should be the star of the show; in this case it wasn't even a supporting player. You simply cannot severely overcooked your main atttactions. Also, this is the first bbq joint I've ever visited that didn't supply bbq sauce at the tables, although there is not enough sauce that could've help slide this dry stuff down.
