We were greeted with a friendly smile upon entry and our wait was not long. You can sit at the counter and have a drink while you wait for your food. We ordered The Local and Sweet & Spicy pizzas. . We arrived in Santa Fe for a quick weekend bachelorette gathering. After a day of traveling and were checked in to our AirBnB we decided to call in pizza! This place popped up and so very glad it did. Called in an ordered, the young lady on the other end was very cordial and patient, I was able to order and have someone else pick up for us. The Pizza was so very good and fresh, we could tell it was made with love. We ordered the Pepperoni, the Sausage, the Margherita, AND the Mushroom. All of the pies were delicious and plenty for 8 ladies. We even had one leftover for breakfast. I think my favorite was the Mushroom. We also ordered the Meatballs as an appetizer and those were very well seasoned in a marinara sauce. Delicious. We only picked up so can't speak to the ambiance, but when I return to Santa Fe I will be visiting here in-person. read more

We had 1.5 hours before our train ride and decided to get something to eat. Esquina Pizza is near the Sky Railway Train Excursion, making it super easy to reach. This pizza place makes tasty wood-fired pizza, garlic bread, and salads, plus they have a variety of wines to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed, featuring a nice patio and a cozy indoor spot to sit. The server was nice, but the service was a tad "off". A group of maybe 10 (not including smaller children) was eating together, and they might have been too much for the server to handle. Every time we come here, the pizza is phenomenal! And the Caesar salad? Easily one of the best I've ever had crisp, flavorful, and perfectly dressed. We tried calling in an order this time, but I think their phones were off the hook,no big deal! I drove into town and placed the order at the counter. The marinated olives were DELICIOUS, they had a lemon/tart taste but also a sweet taste. They tasted like something I've had before but can't quite put my finger on what. The Caesar salad was ok, not much flavor to it. We ordered the sweet and spicy as well as the mushroom pizza. Both pizzas could use a little bit more salt or seasoning but they are good. They both had the charred toast from the brick oven. The sweet and spicy is SPICY, so be prepared. The sweet came from the basil, and some of the hot honey, it was nice to bite into a bit of sweet after all the spice. I love the atmosphere of this place. We sat on the patio on a warm spring day and enjoyed both the mushroom and margarita pizza! The crust is actually paper thin and crispy in the center of the pizza with fluffy crust. I seek good pizza wherever I travel and this is a spot I will return to! Highly recommend. read more

I would like to start by saying the pizza is very good. Is it blow-your-mind good? No, but I would definitely pick it again as far as flavor goes. However - the parking situation there is absolute buns. I am so serious. You might as well park a block away and walk. No interior pretty much, you will have to sit outside. Hope the weather's nice! We ate in the bar. I ordered the gluten-free crust which was really delicious, but they could've been a little more generous with the toppings. My husband ordered the mushroom pizza and it was kind of flat. What I really wanted was to have some wine from their natural wine bar and I really really did enjoy that. The service looks good. Our server recommended Wine for me and she did a good job on that. There was a patio as well and one of the businesses next-door had a DJ playing techno music that was really really loud. We started with the garlic bread, then I ordered the Hot Pepper Pizza, and my husband ordered the Pepperoni. The garlic bread - 5 stars. It was fresh, chewy, fantastic bread served with a side of chunky tomato sauce. What a great treat. The pizzas - great crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and yummy toppings. I loved both pizzas. I will 10000% be coming back for more pizza. So why 4 stars? The inside space is so cute and intimate, but just so small for how popular it is. Sounds like a good problem to have for a business lol. But the seating is TIGHT. I would not recommend coming here and t trying to site inside with more than a group of 4. They do have a patio, but it's cold in the winter months! I had the mushroom pizza with sausage added and it was fantastic. Pizza starts with the dough and at Esquina it creates a pizza that melts in your mouth. And all the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, blending together to create pizza perfection. My buddy got the pepperoni and it was a pepperoni party on the pizza. I am a food critic and have lived in SF for over 15 years, Today visiting Esquina, tasting the pizza, ingredients flavor temperature, Leña taste was absolutely the best pizza I've had in SF, it dropped my previous favorito to second place. Having said that, the service and ambience made me feel as if I was in a 3rd world country middle alley setting. Asked for water and was told to get up and serve myself, waiter only delivered food and drinks, wine was 12 dlls a drink, wine in a can mind you with a plastic cup.. googled the brand and was a 6 pack for 5.49 .. I understand mark up .. this was at over a 1000% mark up hence the 3rd world country setting l.... They had the Odacity to request 20, 22 or 25 percent tip..: for what .... Not one person came to ask if we were properly serviced .... Attitude was negative to say the least, bill was 167.00 and I was reluctant to leave any tip whatsoever, my wife and I had to compromise between the 20 and 30 percent I normally tip Gave the lowest I've had in a long time .. 10% Still kinda high read more

First off, all these people whining about the char on the crust...that's what makes good pizza. Don't listen to these people. The pizza was fantastic. We ordered the cheese, the pepperoni & the sausage. All three of our boys loved it. The negatives, however, outweigh the great pizza. We walked up to find that we had to sit outside where the sun baked concrete baked us. When we tried to get a table inside, we were told by whom I think to be the manager, that those seats were reserved for their wine bar only. She was not friendly about it at all. After we sat at the only table that was large enough for our party, which was in the sun, the fella that waited on us told us to serve ourselves some water. The waiter was not friendly either. On top of this, they only serve 12" pizzas, that in my opinion, were expensive. The unfriendly service & the baking sun kept us from being blown away by the great pie. It was a shame. If they would allow people dining to sit in the air conditioning & be more personable, they would have a great place to eat. read more

Having lives in both New York and Italy, this pizza was a big disappointment. Way too much crust, not enough tomato sauce(which was tasteless) and maybe four basil leaves on the Margerita for $17+tax! All in all, wouldn't go back. There are better pizzas in Santa Fe. read more
