Our Project Manager, Dan, was involved and available from day 1 to guide us through the timeline of the project, the tasks and decisions we needed to make, and how to navigate living without our first floor (appliances, kitchen, living space etc) for a period of weeks. He was readily available by text or phone call. We were really impressed with the flooring guys who worked so hard, completed the job under the estimated time, and what a thorough job they did cleaning up through such a messy job and the quality of the installation. The drywall repairer and painters also did a wonderful and speedy quality job on our home and were readily available to provide the few touch ups needed. Hick was a perfectionist at uninstalling and resetting all of our appliances, blinds, vents, and other details most wouldn't notice. I would give this company 10 stars if I could. We had a flood in our laundry room and they came out the next day. Very friendly, personable and concerned to do the right thing for us. They showed us how the cabinets were wet and some of the baseboards. They only ripped out what they felt needed to be and didn't over do it because it would need to be put back together once the room was dry. They set up a dehumidifier and it ran until the room registered dry in all areas. When it was considered okay they had the crew come in and put back dry wall, cabinets and paint. It all looks better than new. We have had other restoration companies in the past but this is the ONLY company I will call out if we ever encounter another problem that requires their service. Would rate Restoration-Plus a "10." It has been a great experience working with this company re my condo redo in La Jolla, California. When my pinhole water leak took out the whole bathroom, plus all the floors, I was truly stressed as to what to do with a whole new experience of "restoration" problems while living at a great Distance in Northern California. I contacted Restoration-Plus through recommendation of my plumber and Dan S. immediately came out, measured everything and presented a proposal for making the unit whole. At a very advanced old age, I saw that a great deal needed doing. I felt overwhelmed, but Dan just showed me that there were only a dozen items I needed to purchase for the repairs and Restoration-Plus would do the rest. I know I was stubborn to work with, but Dan adapted to all my attempts to be thrifty. And somehow all the materials were purchased, delivered, workmen scheduled and new construction commenced. Most of the work was done after my return to Northern California after a single visit to La Jolla and Dan texted daily with pictures of the work's progression and reassessments re what would improve the final restoration. They also do complimentary billing to the Insurance Company and negotiated the difference between their estimate and that of the insurance company. Taking the opportunity to update, I added a bathroom rain forest shower with double hand held sprayer, new tub, shower doors, vanity, toilet, mirror, medicine cabinet plus tiling the bath surround and floor in a stylish very pale grey. High quality LVP flooring was laid throughout and most of the place painted to match. (With Dan and the workmen painting the kitchen, lastly, free, as a surprise.) We decided to remodel our 26 year old master bathroom as well as the half bath in the foyer. We contacted three companies for a bid including Restoration Plus. Although the other two companies gave very good presentations they could not match Restoration Plus' bid, nor were the bids as complete and professional as Daniel's. We were immediately impressed with his professional and friendly approach along with his "can do" attitude, but having occasionally struggled with contractors' work in the past we retained a bit of skepticism. We had already planned a trip out of the country that was to take place during the time the remodel would be done and we were prepared to halt work while we were gone if we didn't feel we could safely be out of the area. By the time we were to leave we had had plenty of time to interact with Daniel and his coworkers as well as sub-contractors. All of his team were friendly, respectful, helpful, professional and very good at what they were doing. That was great as it meant the job could keep going while we were gone and we could avoid having to deal with an out-of-commission master bath as well as the unavoidable inconveniences any remodel causes. While we were gone Daniel kept us informed with messages and photos of every step of the job, including an unfortunate snafu caused by our choice of stone for the shower walls. Luckily, Mario, the stone fabricator, worked through the problem and solved the issue with a lot of hard work and attention. What I thought was a small pool of water underneath my washer, turned out to be a huge problem. A pin hole leak on the second floor had been dripping for however long and finally just started to show in the laundry room. Luckily my plumber knew and worked with the Restoration Plus Company and they came within one hour to access the situation. They showed me the water damage on the walls,ceiling, countertop and floor boards, and immediately started the removal of damaged items and put the dryers into place. Branham and Hick and other workers came daily to check on the drying process. Then they worked diligently to get drywall, baseboards, countertop,carpeting all replaced and painted. It's perfect and I would recommend this company to anyone. I trusted them to come and go as needed which was possible with their lock box. I will certainly use them again for re-modeling, hopefully I won't have another leak. They answered my texts within minutes, gave good advice, and worked only on the damaged areas of the room.
