I had an excellent experience with ReSupply today. I scheduled them for a pickup to donate a chest of drawers, long dresser, two night stands and a recliner. They texted me in the morning with a smaller window of arrival time for the afternoon pickup and then again when they were 20 minutes away. This was very helpful so I didn't have to spend all afternoon waiting for them to come. The two gentlemen that arrived on time were professional, friendly and very careful removing heavy furniture. The cost came in right around the estimate that was given. Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend using ReSupply. read more

Do NOT use this service if your goal is to ensure your furniture is actually donated. ReSupply markets itself as a donation pickup service. What they don't make sufficiently clear is that after they arrive, collect your furniture, and charge you, there is no guarantee your items will be donated. You may also be charged "recycling fees" if the charity allegedly declines the item. In my case, I scheduled a pickup for a nearly new Pottery Barn bed frame purchased in April and a drawer chest in excellent condition. The assigned hauler (Big Rich Hauling & Junk Removal in Sacramento) was scheduled to arrive between 8 AM and 12 PM. They showed up after 2 PM. Because I had another furniture delivery arriving later that day, I had little choice but to proceed. I was then charged a disassembly fee to remove four screws separating the headboard from the frame. More importantly, this was when I was informed that there was no guarantee my furniture would actually be accepted by the charity and that recycling fees could apply. After pickup, I was told the bed frame had been rejected and recycled. What I was NOT provided: * Documentation showing the item was declined. * The reason it was declined. * Any paperwork from the charity. * Any proof that the item was recycled. I was simply told it happened. My receipt also raised additional questions. The recycling line item showed a quantity of 1 and a unit price of $10, yet I was charged $40. When I contacted customer service, I was refunded only $10 and told the bed frame had been rejected. However, I still have not received a clear explanation of how the $40 recycling charge was calculated in the first place. What makes this especially frustrating is that I have used ReSupply before and had positive experiences. The service I received in 2026 was nothing like the service I received in prior years. In my previous experiences, the process was straightforward and focused on donation. This experience felt focused on fees. Consumers deserve transparency. If an item is rejected, show the rejection. If an item is recycled, show the documentation. If recycling fees are charged in "$10 increments," explain how those increments are calculated. If a receipt shows a quantity of 1 and a unit price of $10, explain why the customer was charged $40. Instead, customers are expected to pay hundreds of dollars and simply trust the process. I paid over $250 to have furniture picked up. Had I known there was no guarantee of donation, that additional recycling charges could be imposed after pickup, and that I would later have to question the fee calculations, I would have hired a traditional junk removal company with transparent pricing from the start. Absolutely not a business you want to work with. They claim they know how to do this. They do not. Like so many reviewers here, I too, waited hours for a pick up. Sob story by the driver. The pick up before mine was all junk, he claimed, and they couldn't take it to a charity, it had to go to the dump. And I get to suffer for that? Communication was horrible. The automated emails were nauseating and of course they asked me to review them on the BBB site. Yep, gonna do that, too. Oh, and the cost to haul away the furniture was higher than the quote; I get that can change but I took some things OFF the list and it was still higher. Fishy. The Customer Support specialist said she was glad I told them about my issue and they will work to make changes. Sure. I asked for a refund, only so they should not profit from what happened. ReSupply was confirmed to come today from 8AM - noon. My husband and I took off to oversee that the many furniture items of my late father's were picked up and hauled away for the price of $450. Noon came and went without notification that a driver was assigned so I called, texted, and emailed. I called again and was transferred to a support specialist named Roberto E. Roberto informed me that the driver in my area didn't have time for my pickup, however, I was never notified. I told Roberto that my husband and I took the day off for this project and needed these items picked up by end of day. He said he would contact the driver to see if he could fit us in this afternoon. Roberto then called and emailed back later that the driver "might" be able to do it tomorrow. Might? What if I take another day off, and they can't? Should I take the whole week off? This is already costing me $450, now my PTO, too? I work in healthcare, I can't work from home. I made a reservation, I paid a deposit, and I had a confirmation. Why is this happening? Is this a scam? It's not acceptable to string me along and expect me to take days and days off work for drivers that may or may not show up. Don't bother calling either. I went on their website, filled out "upright piano" as the item and it returned a total cost of $140. I was stunned so I looked up reviews. So many people had been misquoted that I decided to check. I started a chat and asked the cost for a piano pickup. They responded that it's $400-$700 to pick up a piano. I said that the website quoted me $140 and what would have happened if I had not double checked via chat. The responses were all passive aggressive and did not take any responsibility. See images. These folks are bait and switch rascals! I contacted them and clearly listed all unwanted items to be taken to Goodwill Industries, including two sleeper sofas (included with those exact words). They provided an in-advance estimate of approximately $250. Ah but when they arrived, they announced that Goodwill wouldn't take the two sofa beds (why didn't they say this in advance?) and SURPRISE, there would be and additional carge, making the total around $400!! We told them to pack sand: you should also!! The rascals are likely the jerks at the national level who take advantage of local truck drivers and, of course, we the customer. I don't understand why this company isn't rated 5 stars all the way! A veteran owned and operated company, they provide a service that - for me at least - is worth more than it costs. I donate to SA and Goodwill all year long but getting big pieces of furniture, heavy stuff, and just awkward-to-handle things puts a stop to the "good will" I have. Plus, calling a junk removal place (been there, tried that) only means a big bill, and I don't really know where the furniture is going. The cost at ReSupply was fair, the service was absolutely outstanding and if you read my reviews, you know I'm a stickler for both! On a recent cold, snowy day I expected the worst and waited for the call to cancel the pickup. Instead, a text telling me when they'd arrive came even earlier than I expected. And a live call to tell me exactly who would be there - two very courteous, careful young men who wrestled my huge dining table out the door without a scratch, wheeled out a media cabinet without a wobble and came pretty close to the estimate I had in my head for the whole thing. You really can't quibble that an estimate comes in a few dollars over the original quote because- it's an "estimate"! Nice people, respectful of property, super easy to schedule and I've referred everyone I know to this local-based business. Too bad I didn't read the reviews before I hired them. The two "movers" had no clue how to disassemble a pool table with 2 piece slate. I wasn't paying attention and I heard a loud BANG that shook the house and scared the crap out of me! I went to the room they were working in and the pocket-less pool table was on it's side and they were removing the legs from this 800 lb pool table. Then they tried to slide it on edge down the stairs to the garage. It was too heavy for them to control its decent and it broke on the way down while gouging 7 out of 9 stairs. Extremely incompetent and dangerous! They weren't very careful with the 3 piece oak and beveled glass entertainment center I also "donated". I "donated" clothes and books too. I'm pretty sure it all went into the trash with the pool table. This outfit needs to be investigated for fraud by the Attorney General. read more

This is a business (incoproated in Delaware). that implies it is a charity. They hire local movers that cost you a bundle and then are NOT obliged to donate what they take. I recently found them on Google for 'furniture donation' and booked them to take 7 bookcases. For over $600 they either dumped or recycled them, but still offered me a tax deduction receipt despite being unable to prove a donation. Instead, they keep saying they donate to Goodwill (of NY and NJ) which expliciity does NOT take furniture. For me, this is a scam. Better to hire a regular mover and tell them where to take the stuff. I have reported them to the proper authorities. read more

ReSupply is an absolute RIP-OFF. Save your money and avoid this company. I found ReSupply through Goodwill of Broward when I needed to donate furniture. We donated about 10 items and were given an estimate of $447.12. The final bill? $578.72. The problem is that the "estimate" doesn't seem to mean much. Once the pickup is underway, you're essentially stuck. Halfway through the move, I was told I could be charged even more if Habitat for Humanity didn't accept all of the items or didn't have room for them. At that point, what are you supposed to do, tell the movers to put everything back? To add insult to injury, I later found out Habitat for Humanity would have picked up most of my donation for free. Had I known that, I never would have wasted my money on ReSupply. Do yourself a favor and call local charities directly before using this service. I'm going to start off by saying, I've been a long time donor of stuff and buyer of stuff to Goodwill for decades. Lately, I'm a bit put off by some of their practices & ridiculous prices. Partnering with Resupply is one of them. Absolutely, do not use Resupply as all they are is a middle man for contracting out another local junk hauler to take your stuff to a Goodwill. They do the hard sell stuff by saying they are veteran owned. I'm all for supporting vets but not if a vet Corp is going to try and rip off people- especially many who may be older customers on fixed incomes trying to get rid of stuff & don't have family to help them. I signed up about 5 days in advance for removal of a single headboard (complete with hardware to attach to a frame). Resupply actually lists "headboard" on their requested items page. I was given a time window of 8am to noon on a Saturday. I had made appt for elderly parent, even allowing for 1 hour of error. The morning of, I constantly checked for updates. At 11:45am- I was told ETA is 12:00 to 2:00pm and that was an estimate. About 1:00 pm they show up when I was just about to leave. The guys from the junk hauler told me, Resupply communicates at a bare minimum with them. I had the item neatly wrapped up and ready to go. The guys tell me that there's a possibility that Goodwill won't accept the item bc it's only a headboard not a complete bed with footboard and rails. Huh? Lots of people only have headboards attached to their bed frame. They said that Resupply would then charge me an additional $100 for a recycling fee. I was already being charged $15 for booking fee, $99 for the item and then more for gas. $130 to donate a single headboard in good shape. Additionally, when I tried to update the pick up with photos or instructions, the Resupply website was a dud and wouldn't let me. Then they go thru this whole sham of texting for customer support and you get no reply for hours? HERE's the Kicker: Goodwill shares profits with Resupply. So if they say they'll take your donation but then it's magically denied , you get charged a $100 "recycling fee." ONE BIG NON-TRANSPARENT SCAM. Just call your local junk hauler to take your stuff away for a flat fee. Donate your nice stuff to smaller charities you love the cause. I'm over Goodwill at this point. I've been supportive bc in my area they employ many people who would be unemployable. Im glad I was here to help my mom with this "donation." I didn't tell her I was paying for it's "donation" bc she would've said no. But I was tired of moving it around in her garage and I didn't have a big enough car with me from out of state to move it. The crew who picked up my mom's belongings was courteous, professional, and did a good job. My issue is with the billing process, not the movers themselves. I was given an estimate, but just before the movers arrived, I was contacted with additional terms and conditions that could affect the final price. Then, once the movers got there, I was presented with a final total that was more than **$250 higher** than the original estimate. I was required to sign authorizing payment for that amount before they would even begin the job. This process felt very misleading. An estimate should be reasonably close to the final price, not increase by hundreds of dollars at the last minute when you have little choice but to move forward. Since I was arranging the pickup of my mom's belongings from south of Atlanta, I was in a difficult position and had little option but to proceed. Worked with the one in NJ. The driver never showed up and they didn't let me know. I had to contact them to find out what was going on and it took them over 2 hours to give me an update that we would need to reschedule due to an unexpected delay. If you are looking for a company that is reliable this isn't it and I would recommend going with someone else. I did get a refund for the booking fee but the stress finding someone last minute to help me remove my furniture was not worth it in my opinion. I followed up after noon and was told they would come between 12 and 2 pm. I followed up again and was told they would come between 2 and 4. The last time I used them they were four hours late and the men that came made me feel very uncomfortable. The demanded a tip which I would not have given for their service but I was afraid not to. I wish there was another way to donate to Restore Habitat for Humanity. I would advise anyone who uses them to make sure there is another person at home when they come. re: Resupply in SF Bay Area Working with Resupply was simple and straightforward. The people who came to collect my donations were polite. I am especially appreciative that they take mattresses and I am hopeful that they can be used. My one complaint is that their pricing was adjusted upward frpom $229 to $329 when they were picking up in spite of the fact that I provided descriptions of all the pieces I had them take. I have been haggling unnecessarily for over a week with a total of 7 Donor Support people at ReSupply to get a $100 refund on a total bedroom set donation. I paid them $459 (including a charge of $160 for mattress and box spring). I am wondering if this donation pickup business is a scam ? I was told by the local partner here in Danville California that I would get back $100 if both were accepted by a local charity. Habitat for Humanity accepted both the mattress and box spring and one other piece. I have been asking for a fair deal, just give me back the $100 your pickup partner told me I would receive if the mattress and box spring were accepted by Habitat (for resale and a profit for H4H). After a week of back and forth, a dozen emails to/from seven different people (in Boston ?), I got half of what they should have paid. Was assured of first pickup in a 4 hour window. Got the LAST pickup. No tracking or communication with driver. This after ReSupply tried to reach driver via email, text, and phone calls. When they showed up , went to the wrong location after being given specific directions, adding additional delay. Always happy to support veteran owned companies and their local partner Habitat for Humanity. But using ReSupply was a waste of time and money.. Paid a PREMIUM price but received MEDIOCRE service. Don't recommend the LA service- Would not recommend. This was a complete waste of time and extremely unprofessional. They showed up with a truck that was already full and were unable to complete the pickup. I had cleared my schedule and waited around all day for this, only for them to leave a large portion of the furniture behind. They then confirmed they would return the next day to finish the job--and never showed up. No call, no update, nothing. When I reached out, I was redirected to the owner/boss, who initially acknowledged the situation but then completely stopped responding after I explained the issue. At that point, I had already paid and was left with an incomplete job and no resolution. The lack of planning (showing up with a full truck), failure to follow through, and then being ignored entirely is unacceptable. My charge to take the sofa and a matching recliner was $15 initial fee + 176. I do not blame the local truck drivers and, without a doubt, I feel taken advantage of as the customer. Had I known and not been under a time constraint, I would have called 1-800- You Got Junk; they are FAR more reliable and trustworthy. I would have listed my items as free on Marketplace or Nextdoor. They say they accept items on the site, but the driver explained items listed as acceptable on the site will by default be diverted to the dump and they charge an extra $90 for that. Bed bugs is the reason he explained, so they should just remove sofa sleepers as an option to donate rather than upcharge on arrival. They showed up and changed a $135 donation to a $225 bulk pickup. It wasted everyone's time. I canceled their service and just scheduled a free bulk item pickup from recology. And of course they showed up 1.5 hours after the 4-hour pickup window. I donated a walnut-finished bedroom set including two end tables with drawers, a walnut platform bed frame, and a walnut seven drawer dresser. The bedroom set was in excellent condition. Additionally, I donated an unused SOLE fitness recumbent exercise bike. I paid $1451 for the bike in 2021. I donated these items 2 years after my wife died. I wanted to donate to Habitat for Humanity because I believed someone who couldn't afford these items if they were new would be able to buy them now from a Restore. I also believe in the Habitat for Humanity mission. I was hesitant about paying $218.00 for the items to be picked up, but I thought from the information provided by Resupply Moving that they would be handled with care. That was definitely not the case. The items were stuffed into the truck with no moving blankets to protect them and were dragged on their sides on the bottom of the truck. The furniture was obviously damaged. I was appalled by the way the furniture and exercise equipment were treated. If I had known that I was going to pay $218.00 to have my belongings treated in this manner, I would have stuffed them in my neighbor's truck and had him transport it to the Durham Restore. read more

Updates my review from 1 to 3 to 4 stars. Please read the whole thing if you want to understand why. I appreciate the existence of such a service and the fact this is veteran organization. The team doing the pickup was kind and corteous. Three problems: - Operations: they never showed up in the first time scheduled, only informed they were not available after I was waiting for hours and called them. Then via text, we confirmed a date a week later. - billing error / Charges confirmation: the pickup team informed that the not for profit would not accept the 8 dining chairs as there was no accompanying dining table. They could dump them which I declined, kept tge chairs to find someone else to donate. I was charged for the pick up, never received a revised list. Never accepted the charge and they charged my card. Tried solving it by text and the person does not seem to grasp what I am explaining and we keep in circles with no one to call. They picked up 8 less items given teams info that items would not be accepted but they charged me for it. - itens acceptance, communication about accepted items - they took a great, expensive sofa, we only gave it away because it does not get through the door/stairs for our room upstairs. They indicated that item was not accepted and that they took it to landfill - very disappointing, someone could benefit from a good quality sofa. I'm heart broken for the waste and for double paying - to transport plus to dispose. I updated my review from 1 to 3 as I got a call from them and a refund for items not picked up. The communication with charities about what is accepted can be improved but they did provide me info of the charity and will provide info about the disposal. On their online site I provided very detailed information about what need to be picked up they gave me a price totally $285 they charged me $10 to secure a pickup time which was payable non-refundable at a time of booking they gave me a window between 9:00 to 12:00 that I had to sit in an empty office just waiting for them however did not show up by until 2:00 p.m. and then gave me the price of $850 despite of what they told me initially I called another company and they came very promptly very professionally finished the job and they charge me $300 I didn't have to wait and the pricing was accurate I would never ever deal with this company again and I suggest you don't do that either.
