Had a great meal and great service tonight at Resurgence! Gavin, our server was friendly and helpful! The beers were great, and the food came out Hot , fresh and , in a timely manner! We throughly enjoyed our meal and are already planning a return trip! Thank you Resurgence and Gavin for a great night out!
Not only did we have a very good and nice waiter, we had a lovely lunch. It was the monthly "lunch bunch" get together. It was a table of 12, so our waiter had a lot to do, taking the orders and keeping them straight and keeping the glasses filled with water or soda pop. We asked about separate checks; it was no problem. I had the 716 cheeseburger once again. It was just as good as the last time I had it, big and juicy with lettuce, tomato and sliced onion. The French fries are good too.
Not my first visit here and it wan't be my last. They have great beers and good food. I started with a Buf IPA, a hazy New England style IPA. Fruity notes and about 6.5% ABV. On Tuesdays their special is the 716 burger for just $7.16. It's a "standard" burger, with cheese (American), lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It was a really good burger, very tasty.
We have been to Resurgence many times for drinks, we love Christine who helps with promotions of products / sampling. We usually don't eat here but decided to stop for dinner and ordered wings. They were actually sauced well, hot and delicious. We tried the MVP and for the ward sauces and both were delicious! We sat at the bar and the bartender was mediocre but we are fine with that. They had trivia going on so once that started it was loud but we could still talk amongst ourselves without yelling at each other. Dinner was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised!
Another fun discovery thanks to the WNY Craft Brew Tour Cards from Habitat for Humanity. This place is HUGE. There is a large parking lot but it's gravel so anyone using mobility devices may want to circle the block for street parking. The host at the front was friendly and helpful, and let me know what kinds of seating were available so they could find me a perfect one for my needs. My server was great too so big kudos to the staff here. I sat indoors; the patio looks awesome too so this is a multiple-visits-to-see-everything kind of place. I had a Loganberry Wit (wheat beer) with a Bacon Bleu burger. Both beer and burger were good. They were generous with the bleu cheese, bacon, and garlic aioli. I'd say four stars on the beer and three on the burger - it's a frozen-patty style but the toppings were on point and the bun was great so that made up for it. The food menu is pretty vanilla. The drinks menu is excellent! There are a ton of beer choices plus wines and a great cocktail list. I will definitely be returning for that. This place is loud. It felt like a big party atmosphere, in a good way, but a little overwhelming until my brain adjusted to it (as a noise-sensitive person I always like to note these things). There was music but I could barely hear it over all the people; conversations need to be at an "outside voice" volume. You can see the huge brewing and canning gear - it is super neat. It doesn't get more local than that!
I truly love going to resurgence. They offer a great variety of bar food and craft beer. It is a fun place. We just sit around with friends. The only downsize is the service at the bar is very slow last time I went there. There were three people at the bar and it still took me 15 minutes to get a drink, however the ambience is worth it.
Stopped by on a Saturday night a few weeks before Christmas and this place was hopping! We waited about 40 minutes to get a table in the restaurant area which is much quieter than the huge bar area. You can also order food in the bar area if you like to scream to be heard. Burgers were very good with some interestingly cut fries (slightly crunchier than regular fries). Of course, there is a great selection of Resurgence beers and BlackBird ciders, along with a full bar with specialty drinks. Look out for discount coupons on Clipp.com.
My favorite brewery in Buffalo and one of my favorite overall. Never a visit goes by that I don't make my way here AND grab some beer to go. Great IPAs and love the nostalgic flavors of tying Buffalo things like Sponge Candy(Stout) and Loganberry(Wit) with their beer. The service is impeccable here and the spot is just incredible both inside and outside. Plenty of seating with great merch.
We stopped by after Christmas Market, and the place was jumping, but we found a table right away. Ordered at the bar and the food was ready quickly. Everything was fantastic! Festive decorations made the evening even better. I highly recommend this place!
The customer service and overall experience here blew us away. This was our first time here and we originally came for the holiday decor and we're surprised by the lengthy menu of beer and food. The staff in the service were impeccable. Everyone was so friendly we will definitely be going back.
First time where but will not be my last! I really enjoyed the brewery tour and learned a lot about the different types of brews they make. The food was very good as well. We shared a few appetizers and my favorites were the hot pepper dip and the chili Brussel sprouts. I got the honey garlic chicken sandwich for my meal with regular fries and the fries had such a great flavor! Everything on the menu looked really good so it was a hard choice and I can't wait to go back to try something else
Chicago burger 7/10 Two smash burger patties. The pickles came through a lot overriding some other flavors to me. The Onions would be better if they were sautéed down a little more. They were almost raw. It definitely needed a tad more dressing too to balance the flavors. Amount of cheese was good. Silo Sammy 8/10 Good flavor on here. The steak was shaved and cooked plain. Then you get some heat with the banana pepper cheese. Didn't really taste the garlic aioli much. For this to be better I have 2 suggestions: if the bread was like a garlic bread it would be amazing. Or, I also think pan frying it like a grilled cheese would also make it better with the caramelization of the bread. Potato wedges 10/10 Delicious, perfectly salted and seasoned, and perfectly fried. Truffle Garlic aioli 7/10 Very truffley. A little definitely goes a long way. Beer cheese 8/10 Smooth and thick. A good cheesy flavor. It did get cold and harden up very fast though which made it hard to dip.
Very large space. Open, with great decor. Friendly staff. Made reservations on a Friday night, was immediately seated. Not a big beer drinker so we tried some mocktails and NA beer. One friend did habe some lemonade tea sours, which was very good, so much so we bought a four pack to bring home. Regular bar food. Tasty. The highlights of the meal were the brussel sprouts, potato wedges, burger and chicken fingers. The lows were the hot pepper dip, it literally had no taste or heat. Wife got the honey chipotle chicken sandwich which she said was way to sweet. It was suppose to have pepper jack cheese, but if it did it did not provide any heat to offset all that sweetness. You can add on 5 wings to any handheld sandwhich, for 7 bucks, which we all did. The wings were good. Could of been crispier but overall a decent wing. Giving three stars for food but added an extra star because our server (Allison)was just great. She made the experience with so-so food just a good time!! Service matters and she did a great job. Not the best parking.

This place is really close to 4 stars but I genuinely don't understand why places leave giant garage doors open in 85 plus degree weather. If I wanted to sit outside I would sit outside but with those doors wide open you have nowhere to escape the heat. So I don't really want to drink craft beer inside a sauna disguised as a brewery. OTHERWISE it's a really cool space. We've visited a few times now one being for lunch. We got an order of wings and fries. The wings were good / average. The fries were really good especially with a side of ranch. ( blue cheese recipe needs some work) The waitress was super nice and attentive. The atmosphere is awesome and there's tons of space at the bar. If you venture upstairs it's a really cool elegant space with rustic charm that would be perfect at an event venue. Once all the construction settles down I hope they put in some more parking spaces but in the mean time there's plenty of parking across the street. read more
Stopped here during a brief day trip to Buffalo and very glad that I did - these beers were fantastic! Granted I'm a big fan of stouts and don't mind some sweetness, so I ended up really fawning over their options like the peanut butter stout and the s'mores imperial stout. Dark, strong, sweet, delicious! Ended up buying some other flavours to go and those did not disappoint either. The food selection is a bit limited, but happy they offer beyond meat for vegetarian folk, and the fries were top notch. The space was very large, and it's neat to sit right by the distillery. It was a touch on the cold side (perhaps because you're literally sitting in the distillery?) but thankfully the beer warms ya right up. read more

I ordered lunch online from here today, and it was ready in 15 minutes. I was able to eat my meal outside and had plenty of time to spare on my lunch break. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Great beer, great menu, and amazing venue. read more
We were here during our recent day trip. It's a huge place with many seating options. Apparently they must have like a private or semi-private space where you can host big events like we saw a group of wedding people (the couple, the bridesmaids and groomsmen) come into the building for the reception perhaps. And it's connected to the bar next door I think. We got a flight of different beers and sat in the tent outside. The beers were arranged according to the level of sweetness. My friend especially like to the sour which is fruity but then has a distinct taste. The second to the left one was a sweet one I forgot the name now but it was the most popular one. I think it has some kind of berry infused in it and it tastes more like a fruit juice with natural sweetness. At that time there is seemed to be an aviation show nearby and we could hear the aircrafts coming through. Also I wasn't sure if it's a usual thing but when we drove down toward this place, they closed the road as soon as you see the block so we just parked on the side close to one of those poles and it was fine. read more

This place is great...the ambience and the beer! I love that you can watch them canning the beer while you enjoy one! We stopped by for a beer and ended up with tortilla chips ($0.50), Blackberry Lime Sour ($7.00) and a Berry Seltzer ($6.00). Fun time and will be back to check out the outdoor space again in the warmer months! read more

Stopped in for lunch with the family today on our way from Niagara Falls to Ohio. Cool vibe, kids loved their food and wife and I enjoyed our salads. I went with Southwest no cheese add black bean burger (maybe made with egg but I will go with it)...the kind of place we would go to all the time if we were locals. read more
Brunch was delicious! The menu isn't huge but has enough of a variety to satisfy anyone. The mimosas are a great value considering they are made with Prosecco instead of champagne. The Chicago Street burger was similar to a Big Mac and cooked perfectly. The home fries were crispy, my favorite way. I also tried the cinnamon roll which was okay for me. I wasn't in love with the maple cream cheese, I felt it took away from the cinnamon roll and it would have been better as a glaze. The roll itself was tasty. I fully intend on returning and trying more of their food. I was very impressed and left incredibly satisfied. read more

FINALLY made it to Resurgence and so mad at myself for waiting so long. Great beer list - I opted for a flight and they were all delish. I tried a few NE IPAs and sours. We also tried the fried pickles and they were very good as well. They have tons of seating and a great outside patio with picnic tables, high tops, and seats around propane fireplaces. Very cool atmosphere. read more
Didnt have the greatest experiece for a recent sunday brunch, first off they didnt have me booked when I had the details on my phone for a 2:00 rezzy...nbd...they sat us after about 5 min, table was filthy, sliverware also looked unclean, took a good 20 minutes to get a cocktail in which the server did offer us that round of drinks on the house for taking so long which was cool, took about 40-45 min to get our food after we ordered it, my girlfried order the pulled pork hash which was cold but tasted pretty good, I got the fried chicken and biscuits which also was ok but they forgot the the scrambled eggs and the fried chicken was one chicken finger cut in half and placed in between the biscuits I will go back to give them another chance...Im hoping for a little more attention to detail for now read more
This five star review is solely for the dill pickle chicken wings that we made a special trip to resurgence for. We already knew how much we loved resurgence beer options & their fun layout at this location but when we saw they added these chicken wings to their menu for good we had to go try it ourselves. They were surprisingly amazing! The flavor was very dill forward but every bite of the wings surprised us and we crushed them while enjoying our favorite sour beers. We keep recommending these wings to friends! read more
I really enjoy this newer location. It's spacious which was great even before covid (I've been here before and after covid multiple times). There's 2 floors and multiple seating areas available. Drinks: On the main floor there are 2 huge bars with a great selection of local beer and spirits. Their cocktails are really good. Most of them average $10. You can also get a few 4 packs and larger cans to go if you don't plan on sitting in. Just walk up to the window and they will take care of you. Food: I'm a huge fan of their burgers. Their nachos are loaded with topping. Their wings are ok in my opinion, though I do prefer mine more crispy than they usually make them. When dining in isn't an option, they were still open for curbside pickup and the food was still good. Space/location: When I come here it's usually always clean which I appreciate. The bathrooms always seem to be stocked and taken care of. The beer garden is spacious and perfect for the summer. In the fall it's nice to sit outside with the fireplace and enjoy some drinks. They do offer the opportunity to rent out the area for private events as well. This place is great for groups so grab some friends and share a few items from the menu. read more

Very impressed with their second addition on Chicago street. I ordered 2 fruity Belgian ales while my dining companion ordered an amber ale and a mixed berry sour. (we enjoyed all of our selections and commented on the very generous pour) Since we were just talking about how beers pair well with pretzels, I downloaded the menu and ordered a large pretzel with three dipping sauces (cheese, mustard, and a sriracha mayo) This pretzel was so huge, it should have its own zip code! And it was hot and fresh, amongst the best I've had. Tables were separated 6ft apart (no standing at the bar) so they weren't crowded per say , but it was still nice to see the brewery somewhat busy (it's a large space with patio seating as well). I honestly like this location much better I think, and their beer selection is getting better too! Cheers to that! read more

Very easy to recommend! Fantastic brewery. Very friendly staff and awesome beers. Every beer I had was delicious. Even the sour fruit beer was pretty good and I'm not a fan of sour beers. They have special "quarantine style beers" that are themed for the current environment. The one I tried was "dude, you left your camera on" a really tasty IPA. The Summer Road Trip IPA is delicious and has a really cool backstory. The owners were having trouble finding hops in the area so they did a "road trip" and collected hops from all over NY and made a beer with all of them. Came out great. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area. read more

My friends and I stopped in after an evening of climbing next door. This was my first visit to the new location. It felt fairly large with 2 bars and a kitchen in the back. On this particular night there was live music which was nice. We found seats near the bottling machines where it was a bit more conducive for conversation. While my friends ordered real food, I made my way to the dessert menu. I ordered the Sponge Candy Stout Fudge Brownie A La Mode and an order of fries at a kiosk; good thing too because I would not have been able to say the brownie order. A short while later I received a text notifying me that my order was ready. The French fries were good. The brownie was good but not exceptionally so. It tasted like a typical fudge brownie. Maybe it felt a bit richer but not noticeably so. It was also $8 for a 2x2 in. brownie. I'd love to come back for drinks and food just not another brownie. read more

Good selection of beers. We really enjoyed the porter and strawberry ales we tried. Some of the beers in our flights we did not like, but that is only normal. We thought prices for cans were reasonable. Also, ordered the poutine which was disappointing. Seems as if the cook left it in way too long causing it to burn. read more

Had the holiday ale, Loganberry wit, and pretzel. I've never had anything that tastes similar to any of the three things I just listed. Highly recommend, especially the holiday ale. Very spacious and well-lighted. I've gone on a Tuesday afternoon and Saturday evening and there were still seats around. Lots of parking too, which is definitely a plus for those of us who have cars and don't want to park far and have a long walk. read more
As someone who has found a recent love and appreciation for craft beer, I love Resurgence! I haven't been to the other location yet, but what I do know is the Chicago Street bar/restaurant is fabulous. The inside is bright, white, clean, and spacious. Lots of room to hang out and mingle, and they even have a second level bar. Super casual ambiance and incredibly welcoming. They usually have a plethora of beers on tap to appeal to everyone in your group's taste. IPAs, stouts, and my personal favorite, sours! There's always something interesting to try and I appreciate the options for people like me who enjoy fruity beers. They also have a cocktail list and wine as well! As for the food, it's a little hit or miss. My friend and I ordered the nachos to start and they were sort of dry - nothing super special, but whatever seasoning they put on top was delicious. I got a fried chicken sandwich for dinner which again was just okay. French fries were the bomb, though. I might not be in a rush to eat dinner here again but I'll definitely frequent this place for a beer or two very often. Happy drinking! read more

This place is definitely a gem. The ambience is great and you can feel the Buffalo 2.0 vibes in every corner of this building. Although I am no beer connoisseur, their beers were amazing. I tried the wit, sour and the stout were exemplary. I did have the beef on weck too, which wasn't the best. The beef lacked flavor and it just didn't work together. I would recommend the wings though (try the spicy honey dip sauce). read more

Shouldn't compare apples to oranges but this locations beats their Niagara St. spot. Full bar, plenty of cocktail options for the non-beer drinker. A lot of food choices and there's ample parking! Don't get me wrong I still think the OG location is brilliant. But this is my favorite of the two. Tried the surge beer, pineapple grapefruit beer, and the F.U awesome cocktail, all great. We ordered a quick snack--poutine using our phone, it was light on the cheese curds but still tasty. You can also order your food at the tablet/kiosk next to the kitchen and pick it up at the window when it's ready, they have sit-down service too. Big indoor space, nice sized patio equipped with a couple gas fire pits, corn hole and plenty of tables/chairs. Before you leave the area, cross the street and take a walk towards Tewksbury Lodge to get a nice view of the Buffalo River and Riverworks. read more
This is my first visit to the new resurgent facility. We're invited to our wealth Management group for a presentation the market. Overall an A plus facility, drinks employees and food. The server's kept the hors d'oeuvre trays full, there was various meats cheeses crackers olives homemade pickles and vegetables. I try to figure they're different beers they were all good. The buffet dinner was fabulous there was a nice green salad with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, baked chicken which I normally don't like but this one was full of flavor. The blackened green beans which are awesome, home made bread and baked small red potatoes. I recommend stopping in or going to Resurgence for anything from drinks at the bar to food or holding a corporate or big event read more
Stopped in yesterday with a friend for the first time to try the dill pickle wings. Upon entering I was extremely impressed with how beautiful the new space is! The dining room is huge with plenty of tables throughout it as well as on outside patio and in the brewery itself. The bars are very sleek/modern with lots of seating as well. I didn't go upstairs but one of the employees told us that there is an upstairs bar and banquet room. I've always been a fan of resurgences beer. They hooked me at first with the sponge candy stout and the loganberry wit. This time I tried the head in the clouds double ipa and loved it. It had a fruity aroma and taste and was relatively easy to drink! The dill pickle wings were unfortunately a fail. I asked for crispy and saucey and got the exact opposite. We actually had to send our order back to the kitchen because the wings weren't fully cooked. When we got our new order there was barely any tzatziki sauce on it and no dill whatsoever. The wings were cooked better this time, but still not crispy. At least they were fully cooked and not pink in the middle like our first order. The wings looked amazing in their advertisement but the ones we got looked nothing like what they showed on Facebook. The tzatziki sauce was extremely watery as well, to the point where I hesitate to even call it sauce. I also thought it was a little strange that they served bread and butter pickles with dill pickle wings. Overall just extremely disappointing. I won't be ordering the wings from here ever again. Thankfully we also ordered a pretzel which was really good. They get delivered fresh daily. I liked the beer cheese but wasn't a fan of the mustard. Due to the food I was going to give a 2 star review. Luckily for Resurgence, they have an amazing bar staff that did everything possible to make up for the wings. Joe went absolutely above and beyond for us and it was extremely appreciated. Hopefully it won't take long for the kitchen to work out the kinks that come with opening a new location. read more
