We've been here a few times, but our last experience made me write this review. We had a VERY hangry 7 year old in our party and the place was unexpectedly busy. We were seated at the bar and were a bit nervous about our hangry friends behavior. Right off the bat the bartender (who was slammed) clocked what was happening and went out of his way to be friendly, kind, and engaging to our whole group. I was blown away at his kindness-he absolutely didn't need to engage with her and did. She's still talking about her "extra special Shirley Temple" almost a month later. Service here was a little odd. They are very new and definitely working out some kinks. I ordered an iced coffee and was given a hot coffee. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa and was given an orange juice mimosa. After asking the server about both she informed me that there was no grapefruit juice or ice coffee. Fine if this is the case, but weird to accept my order and then just bring out some different. If it was mentioned, I'd simply order differently. Both times it took a while to bring me a new drink too. Food was good! My sourdough buttermilk pancakes were thick and fluffy and filled with lots of sweet blueberries. A side of bacon is a bit skimpy, but the bacon was super crunchy and cooked perfectly. They have a large outdoor seating section right in the main commons area. They also open earlier for brunch than any other restaurant. Brunch service starts at 10 and most other spots weren't open until 11:30-12ish. read more

We were in town for one night visiting Cornell and had a wonderful dinner at Revelry. Started with the chicken wings and Brussel sprouts for appetizers. Both were very good. For entrees we went for the fish and chips and the avocado caprese salad. Hands down it was the best fish and chips I ever had! Huge portions and absolutely delicious! The chicken had perfect flavor and crispyness. I got the Brie grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad for my lunch. First, I appreciate a good side salad as so many are lacking. A: I work in restaurants. B: I never complain. So when I say this was one of the worst dining experiences of my life - please believe me. Let's start with the terrible service. I sat and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to come greet me, another 10 for the glass of wine. The food itself took another 20 minutes on top of that (as in 30 minutes after I ordered it). The appetizer never came until it finally came with the main course, instead of before as I asked. The same incredible wait period happened at the end when she twice asked if I was ready for the check, and I said yes both times, because all I wanted to do was leave, and yet again 10 minute wait times between each asking if I wanted the check. It wasn't even busy. Though she might have been the only server on the floor, I couldn't tell, that that would help explain it I guess. But even so she never checked on me once when I got the meal or I would have told her how bad it all was. So now, the food - the burrata was not burrata, it was just burned cheese on a piece of pepper, tasted like wet string cheese. The burger was supposed to be medium rare came out super well done. As overdonen as the burger was the fries were underdone, and had no crisp to them. if the waitress had come to check on me I'm not sure I would have sent it all back thougj because at this point I just wanted to be done with it, and I couldn't endure another 30 minute wait. In total the waitress spent 30 seconds at my table, I spent an hour and a half regretting my choice of place. Don't repeat my mistake. read more

Went in with high hopes, but unfortunately disappointed. Went for lunch with a group of 8 and one entree was completely forgotten. Did their best to get to us quickly but was still 15 min+ for a grilled chicken Caesar. The turkey in the turkey caprese had a very odd almost tuna flavor to it and the greens were huge with just a light drizzle of dressing. Even asking for more couldn't come close to lightly coating the salad. Disappointing that the salads, which should have been the easiest, were the worst. read more

The food is decent but i would never come here again. the hospitality is horrible, yes the waiter was nice and making jokes with us, but the SALAD took 1hr 30mins to come, and everytime we would finish a dish it would not be picked up from our table. the place is already really small and not well managed at all, so the packed dishes not being picked up from the table was our final straw. their system in the kitchen makes the dishes based on which table ordered first, so our full order took like so long to come. Oh also we couldnt order a cup of coffee cuz they "had no clean mugs". on that point, the restaurant wasnt even busy and all the empty tables had dirty dishes for the entire time we were there (2 hours!). our orders all came wrong, im not even over reacting like they all genuinely came wrong. read more

Hi! As a former server, I would not return. The Cajun Caesar salad was great! It definitely wasn't Cajun but the caesar dressing was delicious. The service was below average. We waited 25 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. After 45 minutes of waiting, I received a half full lemon drop martini. I've heard this place is popular; however, I was not impressed or pleased at all. They had dirty glasses/plates all over the place which did not help the atmosphere. Everything was delicious! Perfect place to have fun meeting up after work with friends, we grabbed a bunch of share plates and dessert! We had the Truffle Mushroom Flatbread, Duck Bacon Wontons, Smoked Short Rib poutine and Burrata and Roasted Peppers. We made a reservation online which was a bit odd since the confirmation they send you says reservation made see host, except I made it two days in advance and it didn't say the date or time. I'm happy to see the table was ready when we arrived. The drinks were AMAZING, refreshing to say the least. The food was also excellent the rfc sandwich melted in your mouth and the burger did as well. The French fries were crispy but not over done. My only complaint would be the side arugula spring mix salad I expected a house dressing on it but it wasn't good. It was bland. However, this place is a must try! read more

My experience tonight was just excellent. I had read recent reviews so there was a little trepidation especially since I was with my family and my dog. However all of that was dispelled with quick service, fresh, hot food, and a relaxed outdoor ambiance at the back beer garden (more like a terrace). My family devoured the good-sized burger and Caprese salad (the refreshing bed of basil was a big plus). The pulled chicken tacos were reportedly delicious. My mushroom pizza was bubbling with fresh mozzarella and the garlic mushrooms were super tasty. Super yum. Crispy, well-seasoned fries and good beer topped off a great meal. Great place to bring your college-aged kids (as opposed to stuffy Simeon's across the street!). The only thing I missed was the water bowl for our dog, but I had my own, so no biggie.
