We stopped in for a drink while visiting Ithaca. We chose it because it is dog friendly, which they are, so that's a plus. But we tried to order multiple different beers and most were out of stock. Our server and the host were so friendly. However the restaurant was very uncomfortably warm (no ac?) and my Caesar salad came out hot, like it had sat underneath the line/heat lamp for too long. My experience tonight was just excellent. I had read recent reviews so there was a little trepidation especially since I was with my family and my dog. However all of that was dispelled with quick service, fresh, hot food, and a relaxed outdoor ambiance at the back beer garden (more like a terrace). My family devoured the good-sized burger and Caprese salad (the refreshing bed of basil was a big plus). The pulled chicken tacos were reportedly delicious. My mushroom pizza was bubbling with fresh mozzarella and the garlic mushrooms were super tasty. Super yum. Crispy, well-seasoned fries and good beer topped off a great meal. Great place to bring your college-aged kids (as opposed to stuffy Simeon's across the street!). The only thing I missed was the water bowl for our dog, but I had my own, so no biggie. We had a poor experience. Upon entering, a leader-type person challenged us, told us we could not stay more than 30 minutes, and treated us like intruders. There was some larger group arriving 30 minutes after we walked in the door. After leaving we discovered that the rude treatment was due to a sports team with reservations. We were shuffled away as was another group of 4 because a person leading a hospitality business could not find a way to make a balanced accommodation. We have owned a comparable business and dealt with far more dynamic situations. If I was the owner and witnessed that behavior, the person who greeted us so poorly would no longer be employed. Really mediocre place. The sour beer was flat, the Pinot Grigio was off. But that was just the beginning. One of our party ordered braised short ribs, and they came out cold, the side of mashed potatoes as well. They took it back and heated up in the microwave I guess. The burger was way overdone. We made a reservation online which was a bit odd since the confirmation they send you says reservation made see host, except I made it two days in advance and it didn't say the date or time. I'm happy to see the table was ready when we arrived. The drinks were AMAZING, refreshing to say the least. The food was also excellent the rfc sandwich melted in your mouth and the burger did as well. The French fries were crispy but not over done. My only complaint would be the side arugula spring mix salad I expected a house dressing on it but it wasn't good. It was bland. However, this place is a must try! read more

Made a reservation for my, birthday dinner. I requested back patio on the reservation, but was seated inside upon arrival. After a brief explanation, the host was able to move us outside to the patio. I ordered a cosmopolitan (which was not on the menu) for my drink, and the waiter appeared confused by the request. Next I opted for the wood fired hot honey pepperoni pizza, to which I was told they are not doing pizzas at this time. Upon request they did bring a desert with a candle, but we were charged for it. We ordered the Greek Pita Pocket, Cajun chicken pasta, truffle fries, and the mac and cheese. Overall it was an okay experience. The experience was horrible. From the way we were greeted, to a struggling new bartender, and a general chaotic vibe all around - this place needs to up its service levels. After a lengthy wait, we had the wrong food delivered to us - possibly - it seemed like they delivered my wife's burger and then took back both of our meals because mine was definitely wrong. Then she got a burger that had a soggy bun and raw bacon - probably the same burger returned. I got the burrata sandwich which was missing the burrata on half. Add to this a bartender who needs training on beer pouring (no, throwing a straw into my beer is not how you deal with too much head) and staff that was breaking glasses and throwing menus. I get it - it's hard to find enough team members - but also realize people are spending $$$ at your place and deserve better. read more

I declined as the portion was large, and not tasty enough to need any more! The last of our apps came out...last. So, service was not good. The food itself...below average, best thing was the burger. Had a great experience at Revelry yesterday for dinner. Server/co-owner, and head chef were really friendly and chatted with us for awhile. Both have ties to Pittsburgh, so bonus points for that. Food was awesome- I ordered the chopped shrimp salad with mangoes, avocado, grilled corn and a jalapeño-lime vinaigrette... wow. My husband ordered the beer cheese burger and said it was great. I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was horrible. Drinks were the only good thing once we got them. We had a party of 16 and they gave us a new waiter and he was on his 3rd day. It took over 50 minutes to get our drinks. Their system crashed and couldn't take orders. They were out of several crafts beers. Our food came out in spurts and I ordered salad and I was the last person to get my meal. Lastly there was a family of squirrels in the spouting and roofs. We also inform the manager that our waiter needed help and they basically did nothing to help him. They sent one lady out for maybe five minutes, but that was it. read more
