The top layer was sliced bananas, strawberries and whole blueberries. The granola and almond slivers added some crunchy and chewy textures to contrast the soft fruit. Second layer was a chia seed pudding with agave. Finally, the acai base. It was very disappointing because of the super icy texture. I needed to chip away at it with my spoon as it was frozen instead of blended smooth to order. Definately a healthier alternative to a fast food snack but it was pricey. I was put off with how difficult it was to eat the açai but enjoyed the taste and toppings, I gave them a try again. That's when I was asked if I wanted a ready to eat bowl or frozen lol. Now it all made sense to me lol. So of course I got the ready to eat and it was so much better! The consistency of the açai was much better. I tend to modify some of the toppings that bowls come with but I love everything that the I am açai bowl comes with! I usually also add my own chia seeds.
