He offered to drop it off and I thought that was very accommodating. My next experience I dropped off 3 push mowers to get new spark plugs. Days went by, I finally got in touch. He told me to come down. I did.....1st mistake! When I got there he was alone. His jokes and attitude was offensive. Rough around the edges was an understatement! He told me about his divorce, his whole life, what he likes etc.... you see where this is going. I sat there silently and finally asked how much I owe him. Repeatedly... When he picked up on the fact the I wasn't interested he the told me 400$ that's outrageous!!! Back and fourth we went for an hour. Way too much time spent at this place! Finally agreeing on giving him the least expensive mower to sell and make the money I owed him. Then the other two mowers were mine. Seemed ok, even though 3 spark plugs shouldn't even with labour be 400$, but how did I know. The arrangement seemed ok. I waited weeks, he never called. When I finally did get in touch, he stated he sold them all. You get the point.... Be careful! Don't let your wives, daughters, sisters go there alone. Really a place to avoid! There are better mechanics out there that don't involve a drunk, drug addict that steals clients equipment after he figures out you wont be with him. Truly a sick man ..... We had special-ordered bronze appliance handles for the GE Cafe set, and one of the refrigerator door handles had started to oxidize within a year. It didn't bother us as it was hidden but then it started to peel and the silver metal was showing through. We only use a soft damp cloth to wipe them down, never any chemicals. I gave Hugo's a call a few weeks ago to see if this was a known issue and if GE would replace. The person I spoke to on the phone took down my information and asked me to text some photos to Al and follow-up on Monday. Al said this was the first he had heard of this issue but he reached out to GE on our behalf and by Friday of that same week, we had a replacement handle on our doorstep. We definitely would not have received this service had we ordered through one of the big box stores. This is why we choose to shop with small businesses. Thank you, Al!! The new handle looks great and we will be seeing you soon...washer and dryer is on its way out.

I was replacing my washing machine and the deliverypeople inadvertently removed my dryer and brought in another dryer. I was on line at the time and not paying attention. When I noticed what had happened, they took the new dryer back out. then they took out the old machine and returned my functioning dryer to my home. When I called the store, there was little apology and I requested purchasing a downgrade of my former machine. When they returned three days later, they brought up an upgrade - NOT he machine I ordered. But what was most shocking was when I called them and asked them why they had not delivered the machine I wanted, no one knew anything about it. Then the person on the phone said "We deliver the wrong appliances all the time because the numbers on Electrolux washer and dryer are so similar." I couldn't believe he said that. I was stunned to which I said, "Knowing that, why are you not more careful?" I ended up tipping the delivery men who worked hard and the machine cost me much more than it would had I bought it from my local store. There was barely an apology about them.

My installer puts the door in and notices the extensions for a storm door we're never installed. So we check our paperwork and sure as anything they were on our invoice. Call my sales rep at JL and he realized they made a mistake. No problem he said we will have them out to you in two weeks and installed. Now let's fast forward , it is August and I still don't have them. I would call every two weeks, never would get an answer, left voicemails never a call back. My installer would call and everytime he would get a call back he would receive an email. No apologies nothing . Finally we had enough of this terrible service. I got a call in the morning from my installer and he said you need to call and give your CC # so you can get a $200 dollar refund and I will pick the parts up and install it myself. So I call and guess what no answer , but I left a vmail and guess what got a call back in two seconds which means he was sitting right next to his phone. He calls me up , no sorry no apology literally just said hi I'm ready for your CC #. I will never use this company again , Oh and I'm installing 3 more doors in my house this year and was planning on using them if it wasn't for this. Absolute jokes , spent 1600 on a door and they treat customers horrible. The only positive from the whole situation was the manager Peter that I spoke with. He was a good guy and finally started getting me some answers.
