I'm writing this reivew a few months after my project has been completed so I can provide a more thorough review of Revive and my experience with them. CONCLUSION: Extremely professional and knowledgable. From Juan (owner) to Sonia (scheduling/color/everything else), they were ontop of their communication with me and transparent when it comes to pricing, materials used, and flexbility. HIGHLY recommend for all your waterproofing needs. PROJECT SCOPE: I have a large driveway that leaks water into my storage basement ceiling below, which can cause big issues in the long run because of the wooden beams & mold. The assumption is that if we waterproof the driveway, this problem is be solved. PROCESS: I reached out to Juan and was able to get on a call with him and have him come out in a few days. He was prompt and provided clear information on what he thinks would help, the materials it'll take, and how long it'll take. Besides simply waterproofing the driveway, I really care about the aesthetic and want to ensure the coatings used matches the house. I spent a lot of time with Sonia and Juan on what color would be best. When I decided I wanted to mix two colors, they were accomdating of that as well (though I dont think we ended up using both colors). The quoting was quick and clear, though I will say it's not exactly on the lower end of quotes (I'd say it's more middle-lower), I am very happy with the results in terms of function and look. TOUCH UPs: Once the project was initially completed, I noticed there were spots and cracks that got missed. When I informed Juan, he was quick to show up in a few days and got the patched up. NOW FOR THE REAL TEST: It had just rained for a week straight (storming more like) and I just went to check out the basement ceiling... SO FAR SO GOOD. I don't see any obvious wet spots nor drips so far! I smell success. To summarize again, don't estimate, reach out to them! I had 4 different companies over for the initial inspection and I chose REVIVE for many good reasons! I've gotten quite a few compliments from the neighbors regarding the color too... definitely worth the extra time spent reviewing all the color options. read more

Very poor service from Juan and the team. The initial quote and interactions for scheduling were great, but none of the appointments were kept on time. Day 2 was a different tech who arrived a few hours after he was due; he was so late that he was pouring poly in the dark. Unfortunately this left the job with a very uneven finish, and many areas of my poly floor are bare chips that are going to collect dust (see photos). I am seriously concerned whether this surface will last. Overall the floor looks great, but the poly pour is uneven resulting in pools of thicker / hazy surface and completely bare patches. I hadn't been able to access the garage and see this at the time, as the surface was wet and we couldn't enter the garage. When I called Juan the following day (after it had dried), he said he'd need to charge me for a second coat. He's since said he'd come out and fix it, but didn't follow up last week. When I chased him this week, he set a time to come and fix things and cancelled on the day (only after I texted him to confirm he was coming). He promised to come today 9-10, but hadn't arrived. I called him again and he is sending someone else out who won't be here until later. I paid the tech on the second day of the job, before I was able to enter the garage, trusting I was working with a reputable firm based on the reviews. I had self installed epoxy on my garage flow several years back and there were several chips and cracks in the garage floor. The Revive team sanded all of old epoxy and re-did the epoxy. I had my floors done about 5 months ago and they're looking great. $: 5 stars: they were competitive, and clearly explained why things would cost more (sidewalls, etc) Communication: 5 stars: Juan is fast on text and phone, eager to answer questions and provide clarity. This was probably the thing that set him apart. Felt Like I was texting a friend who was prioritizing me. When Juan was busy Sonia would jump in (meaning the two of them were in sync) Flexible: 5 stars: I did my own research and given the amount of moisture I see around my new home opted to get the addl moisture barrier. Juan was able to track exactly what I wanted and always explained the addl costs. They even went and ordered custom flakes for me because I wanted a lighter color that epoxy2u didn't carry Product: 4 stars: I did a bit of research and the topcoat polyaspartic is supposed to be good and 0 vocs. I didn't move in until a couple weeks after installation so the smell didn't dissipate as quickly as quoted, so I had to air it out more a couple months later. Smells fine now. Installation: 4 stars - the first team that came in didn't do an even polyaspartic top coat so Juan had to come back out and take a look. He immediately agreed that it wasn't acceptable and the guy came back and repainted the whole floor. Again, there were some uneven parts, but Juan assured me it would be fine. Time will tell. They also mismeasured my garage but with the addl moisture barrier hope it will be fine. read more
