So happy to have found Jose's company. We communicated a good 4+ months ahead of schedule before we got our house keys. I got a good understanding of what flake samples and floor options he could provide for epoxy. I was really attracted to the glitter option I had seen in his Yelp photos. He suggested brindle flakes and after review, we really liked Schist. He recommended a 1" & 1/4" inch flake combo. I interviewed several epoxy vendors and Jose had the most flake variety as well as competitive pricing. Jose automatically offered a 15lb moisture vapor barrier without needing a moisture test performed. Arceo Epoxy is a stand up company and company owner Jose is extremely responsive and cares about his customers and their satisfaction. They did our garage floor in early December and the floor started peeling in a couple of spots due to moisture issues in our concrete slab. This had nothing to do with the initial quality or thoroughness of their work - our slab just had more moisture than normal and the concrete gave away even though the epoxy was well bonded to it initially. Jose came over and, after examining the floor and peeled off pieces, explained the situation, why it happened, and offered to re-do the entire floor with a thicker moisture barrier. This required grinding off the entire floor they had just installed and starting over - so it was a lot more work than the initial job. They scheduled it right away and both times Junior did the work and did a great job. The second time he did the entire rework/redo by himself and even worked on Saturday to complete the job. Arceo was the only one of 4 companies surveyed initially that used an epoxy MVB (moisture vapor barrier) in their standard process and included with the quoted price. Other companies used a water based barrier (charging extra for epoxy), said they would only use a barrier if the slab had moisture, or would just apply an off the shelf kit with no barrier. This gave me confidence that they wanted to do the job correctly the first time and not cut any corners. Their price was also very competitive, so the value all things considered was the highest of any company surveyed. The fact that I had a problem and they did everything in their power, at considerable extra time and effort, to provide as reliable and robust a final solution as possible - this speaks volumes about their respect for their customers and commitment to customer satisfaction. As mentioned above, my particular concrete has some moisture issues. So whether the redone floor will last as long or be as tough as one done on a problem-free concrete slab remains to be seen. But regardless, I have nothing but the highest regard for Arceo Epoxy, Jose, and Junior, and would recommend them to anyone without reservation. read more

It's been over a week since we worked with Arceo Epoxy Concrete Coatings and every time I go into the garage, I have the biggest smile. If you've ever thought about doing epoxy floors for your garage, Jose and his team can't be beat. T H E S T O R Y: We recently moved into a new construction. A good many things are unfinished like the backyard and the garage flooring. Yes, we could just leave our floors as is like we had it in our old place, good ol' concrete, but as this is our first single family home, we wanted to make sure we did things that we knew would bring us joy. So we finally bit the bullet and started reaching out to companies who did epoxy flooring. After some failed calls to companies, I ended up using Yelp's Quoting Process with those companies that had it available. I started to receive answers from companies and it was so easy. Jose, from Arceo, was responsive whenever I reached out to him. I'm sure he takes time between projects to answer messages on Yelp, phone calls, etc. For me, it was at a pace and rate I was comfortable with so it came in waves :) Without even seeing the place but with just answers I provided, Jose provided a price and information about the product he would use for what we needed. Every company used similar products, but what really differentiated Arceo was the price, quality, and the color selection. After we decided to proceed with Jose and team, he asked us to provide photos of the floor. We already knew exactly what color epoxy base and color flakes so it was pretty straight forward when we drew up the contract. Since he didn't have the color flakes we wanted on hand, it took an additional 2 days for them to order as well as it wasn't any additional cost (which I did ask Jose and he jokingly initially said yes, then of course clarified that it was no additional cost) which is pretty amazing. We did end up scheduling a time the following Friday. So here's where things got fun, the rain was about to come in so I ended up reaching out to Jose earlier that week to see what options we had. He also had similar concerns. He was quite flexible and very understanding when we were switching days of the work with him. I know he must have many projects he's juggling so it was really kind of him to squeeze us in earlier in the week (Wednesday vs. Friday). We knew it was going to be touch and go since the rain forecast kept changing. But we just stuck with the new Wednesday date and glad we did. The day of the work, I received a call around 7am (time scheduled was 8am) from Jaime (I hope I spelled his name right!). He was very nice. He gave us a heads up that they'd be at our place in 30 min. We had prepped the garage by moving all our stuff out. Jaime and Josue arrived, masked and ready to inspect our floors to let us know what to expect. Jaime also answered all our questions and provided some insight on the flaking (we ended up doing a medium flake and quite happy with it). The first part of the process was diamond grinding the floors (we didn't have any cracks so it was really easy for them!), after the grinding, the epoxy layer goes on, and lastly the flaking. This part took them about 1.5 hrs. Quite fast! So this needs to set before they do part two which was scraping of the excess flakes and the top coat. So between the parts, they run off and do another job. They came back around 12:55pm to do part two and it was done in less than an hour. We were advised not to move anything back in for 2 full days. We kept the garage open with a 2 ft opening during the day and 1ft during the night. We opted to wait another full day as it did rain Friday. Maybe a little extra but we wanted to make sure it was good since temperatures were cooler as well. Sunday we moved in the lighter items. Monday we moved our cars back in. We walked around Sunday and inspected the floors. We did notice a bit of a dip in our floors but after asking Jose, he mentioned it was due to the original concrete and not their work which I totally agreed with. So make sure your concrete is even! For payment, Jose accepts cash, check or credit (credit has a 3% fee). I highly recommend Jose and team for your epoxy flooring needs. Josue & team are rockstars! They turned our really gross garage floor...into a BEAUTY. My husband and I recently bought a home and knew we wanted to build a gym in our garage. While we were originally just going to put mats all over the floor...we decided to epoxy the floors cause they were just so gross from the original owners. I contacted a BUNCH of places and Arceo was not only the most responsive but the most reasonable in price. Was able to give me a quote based on a few pictures and some additional asks (like re-installing the washer & dryer and doing the sides of the wall). Josue was so great in answering all my questions, responding in literally minutes (all through Yelp), and giving REALLY fair quotes. No surprises either. We started on a Thursday. The two guys who came were on time, respectful, and fast. One guy was REALLY great at explaining everything, answering questions, etc. It took them about 4 hours the first day to do some concrete prep and lay down the epoxy and flakes (which you can choose!). They came back the second day to seal it. It takes about 4 days to then dry and by Tuesday, they came back to re-install the washer & dryer. We just ran a test load and installation was correct! I have a 2 car garage with bare concrete that wasn't in the best condition, and not the worst (cracks). Jose was able to give me a quote online after sending a few pictures. We wanted a flake epoxy system. Once he showed up, he examined the floor and recommended only doing the floor as the side/foundation had a big moisture problem. Really glad we found Jose to epoxy our floor. He's probably one of the nicest contractors we've worked with. What I really appreciated is that he worked around our schedule. There was a lot of rain during the time we were trying to setup the date to get the work done. We had to constantly reschedule because of that. He even let us know he'll be leaving out of town and wanted to make sure he got us into his schedule before he left. We were really impressed because he was able to get the work done in 1 day. The area we were trying to epoxy had shelving in the middle of the room, which we could not move so it didn't give him a complete open space. I saw Jose's work about two years ago at a smog shop and I was so impressed I asked the store who did the work and requested his contact info for when I finally had my garage redone. He was on time and gave a quick and competitive estimate for my garage floor. He would always respond to my texts within 5-10 minutes! I actually had a mishap which was totally my fault.
