I've been following Bare Studios on Instagram (@bare_studio_) for over year and finally made an appointment with Lynette at Bare Studios to learn more about the SMP (scalp micro pigmentation) process. My hair over the years has become thinner and thinner and it was becoming more visible as I look back on pictures. I was nervous about SMP in general - the process, pain and recovery. I wanted to know everything especially any side effects. I met with Lynette in person last year for a consult and she was so welcoming and patient with me in answering all my questions. Lynette is extremely genuine and wants to empower all her clients to have more self confidence and comfort in how they look and feel. After meeting with Lynette, I felt more comfortable about the process and booked an appointment to get started on SMP. SMP in essence gives the appearance of fuller hair, Bare Studio mimicks your hair follicles making it look fuller (less scalp/baldness). My SMP appointment went super smooth and was easy. On a scale from 1-10 on pain, it's probably a 2. You can feel it but it's not painful at all (at least not to me). My first appointment was about 1.5hrs. Good news is you can see the difference almost immediately. Bare Studio doesn't only do SMP! They specialize in reducing or lightening scar appearance, birthmarks, etc. they help with skin tightening as well. Bare Studio is described as specializing in paramedic tattoo for stretch marks, scars and cosmetic scalp treatments for hair thinning and hair loss.
