Mocha Point is a fabulous and a unique addition to the Overland Park coffee scene. It is offering an authentic and soul warming drinks experience straight from Yemen! So far I have tried 2 hot drinks and fell in love with them. The Yemeni latte has a comforting rich spice flavor profile (cardamom n ginger) which balances well with espresso while the Arabic coffee provides a deep unfiltered bold taste! (Around $7-9 each). The ambiance of the coffee shop is very welcoming and is a great spot to meet friends, study or simply have a solo date with yourself. They also offer wide variety of bakery (Sweet & Savory) on their menu which look praise worthy which I would love to try when I visit next. Items which have caught my eye to try next time are Beef Manakeesh, Sumac pie and Bakhlava. Apart from their service is good and the staff is very kind. They helped me craft a half sweet Yemeni latte to better manage my diabetes! Also, don't forget to check out their merchandise wall along with coffee and chai mixes. If you love high quality craft coffee and love to explore drinks showcasing different cultures, then this is your place to be!

Yemeni coffee had been getting really popular all over the place. I'm glad there's one close to our house. Happy to go to this place and try creativity, but there is not much of a Local Arabian taste to it. It's just like another Neighbourhood coffee shop. I don't know what will make it closer to what they're promoting what are the things that I did not like was this place is messy they are not cleaning it having such a huge space with less staff can always make things messier. If you don't clean time and time we ordered some regular coffee, but it was OK there's parking problems. Make sure you are ready to walk. The service was good not gonna have any complaints on that but didn't feel anything special about this place.

Mocha Point is easily one of my new go-to coffee places! The atmosphere is wonderful, with music playing in the front half of the cafe, plenty of natural light, and lots of space to bring a laptop or book. I ordered an iced decaf Spanish latte and a chocolate croissant, and both were delicious! I was so glad that all of their coffee is available in decaf, too. The service was also great, with the staff being friendly and willing to help me decide when I was torn between items and asked them for their opinion. All in all, Mocha Point is a great place to grab coffee, baked goods, or both!

I really enjoyed Mocha Point Coffee. I had the Yemeni latte and almond croissant. The drink was large, and the almond croissant had the fluffiest filling. The portions were large and I could barely finish the croissant. There was plenty of seating and we did not have a long wait for our orders. I plan to return and recommend if you are in the area!

I've been really enjoying the trend of global coffee shops that are opening up in KC. Ten years ago you'd find mostly just American style coffee, but nowadays I've been really enjoying the Latin American and Vietnamese shops that have popped up. I'm now adding Yemeni coffee to my list as this was great! Mocha Point is still pretty new here so it was quiet when I popped in this morning, but the baristas were super helpful and I chose an iced Yemeni latte and an almond croissant. The coffee was mildly sweet with some nice spice. The croissant was warm and delicious. I'll be back!

Fun spot with unique options! Mocha Point made me go outside of my normal coffee comfort zone, and I enjoyed it. Staff was friendly, and the space was clean. It didn't have a ton of ambiance but was large enough to have plenty of people working at the same time without being too crammed. I'd recommend!

First of all, this space is absolutely GORGEOUS. The vibe as you walk in is immediately comforting with multiple windows letting in natural light, luxurious furnishings, and soft music playing. I noticed that even though we went at a fairly busy time, it didn't seem loud or overwhelming at all. Now onto the drinks and eats - I love ordering seasonal lattes at coffee shops, so I chose to get their seasonal Sticky Date Latte. It was one of the best lattes I've ever had! It had a strong coffee taste which I adore, and the sweetness was the perfect amount. If they chose to keep this on the menu I would be the happiest girl around. I ended up getting a pistachio croissant (not pictured) and a chocolate croissant as well. I fell in love with the chocolate because it was filled to the brim with rich chocolate in the center. The pistachio was also delicious and they did not skimp on the filling on that one either! The staff was also awesome, I always love when you order something and the person taking your order goes "oh yeah that one is delicious". It's very reassuring!

New Yemeni cafe in Kansas City metro (especially in Overland Park)!!!! People here know how to show up and support new cafes and restaurants. I've always loved Pistachio lattes from Yemeni cafes. So, I was very excited about to see what they offer at this place. They opened the doors in February 2026 & they're still in soft opening phase figuring everything out. Ambiance: Cafe is designed in a very unique way with a lot of different tables for smaller to larger groups. High chairs for people who want to work. I also noticed some pottery items in there. There is good amount of sun light coming in one side of the cafe. Menu - Coffee, Tea & Pastries: Since it is early days, they have a paper menu and I'm sure they're in the works for QR code menu and a TV screen menu. Menu had a good amount of Tea and coffee options with their house favorite Yemeni coffee. I have also noticed Pistachio cakes, croissants, Zaatar and cheese Manieesh & Beef Manieesh. We ordered Hot pistachio latte, Yemeni latte & Banana cream latte & Zaatar and cheese Manieesh for the table. Pistachio latte was good but not the best I've had. Manieesh had cream cheese and zaatar seasoning all over it. It was different and it may not work for folks who's not good with spices. I have to try Yemeni coffee and Adeni chai next time.

Checked out this new coffee spot in OP! Love the decor inside and you are going to want to try all of the sweet treats. I also had their spinach pastry option and it was yummy! I will be back to set up shop to work on my laptop. I had the pistachio latter and I loved it! Need to get back and try the Spanish latte. Staff was so friendly!

I drove 31 miles each way from the Northland to south OP just to experience the KC areas first Yemeni coffee shop and it was worth it. After reading about them coming to town a few months ago and having a friend that has visited their only other location in St. Charles, MO, I knew that a Sunday road trip was in the cards. The place is beautiful and simplistic in its myriad arrangements of seating options in a large space in a stripmall, with cut-out arches, functional art of Middle Eastern silver plates, coffee serving vessels and clay urns , the place is clean, vibrant and alluring. The nice lady at the register offered product details that the menu fails to provide. I went with the basic iced Yemeni Latte and a savory spinach pastry. The latte was wonderful - a cross between two of my favorite beverages - Cafe Sua Da and a Chai. Bold, sweet and a kick of spices. Perfect. The spinach pastry was beautiful in its appearance and taste. Count me in on the upcoming Yemeni coffee bandwagon that is approaching.

I Was So Excited To Try Mocha Point As The New Coffee Joint In The Area! The Place Is Beautifully Decorated Clean And Quaint. We Were Greeted Upon Entry And The Baristas Were Kind! The Coffee Was Delish Probably One Of The Best Pistachio Lattes I Have Ever Had. The Only Hang Up I Had Was The Price As A 16oz Latte Was $8. It May Be The Price Of Coffee These Days So I Won't Make A Huge Fuss But Just Something To Point Out. Im Happy for Mocha Point And Would Be Happy To Visit Them Again!

    iced date cardamom latte

i went to mocha point to get some work done today. the coffee shop is really cute in the inside and spacious. there is tons of seating as well as outlets. there are chairs with backs and stools. i ordered an iced date cardamom latte which ended up being 8.50 which i think is a little pricey for a 12oz latte. the latte also very sweet to me so i think i would do either just the cardamom or the date syrup instead of both.

We came here once before years ago and I remember it being packed then too even though I'm sure it was later in the day. The line moved quickly and they gave you a number after so that you don't have to stand waiting by the counter. They bring your drinks and items out to you while you find a place to sit and wait. I had never seen that before and I really appreciated it. Their menu has upgraded since the last time I came, it's now on two large TV screens that help you read before it's your turn at the counter. They also have a sandwich board with seasonal drinks for those that are looking for something sweeter or with different flavors. I had the Banana Cabana which was my first banana coffee drink ever during this time where they seem to be popping up everywhere. My immediate reaction was that the banana flavoring is not for me. It was still drinkable though, with the perfect amount of sweetness. I don't fault them at all, it was an experimental choice on my part. Next time I will just stick with adding my own flavors to an iced latte. Plenty of seating and despite being crowded, there was a relatively low noise level. They also have plenty of pastry and food options. By the time I left I realized I forgot to order a chorizo breakfast burrito, so I will have to try that next time.

A couple of friends met up and they noted we were in "productive mode," so we limited the chat until our lunch break when we headed out. The staff were also friendly and gave me no reason to doubt their skills. My only complaint is that the seating was just shy of being comfortable. My friend said the bench seating was a bit hard, and while the chair I sat in was soft, the arm rests made it a little too narrow for me (I'm plus size and have chronic pain, so finding truly comfortable seating can be a challenge at most places. As a note, anyone larger than a women's 3X probably wouldn't be able to comfortably sit in the chairs at all and would need to sit on the bench).
