I recently made a big move from DC to Arkansas and needed to hire movers since I had too many things to fit in the back of the car. When looking for movers, it was a bit tricky to find a company that would move to Arkansas at a reasonable price. Revolution Van Lines was able to give me a good price for the number of items I had and the distance it was being moved. When they came to pick it up, the staff was snappy and rude. Once my items were on the van, I didn't hear from them for nearly a month and they were planning on dropping my stuff off on a day I put I was not available. Had I not called, my stuff would have arrived with me not being home. Despite their average reviews online and my average experience with them, my stuff arrived in PERFECT condition. I had multiple breakable and flimsy items that arrived with no scratches. I was admittedly nervous after interacting with the rude mover but was pleasantly surprised when my items came in the best condition possible. read more

Can I do a zero star rating? I do not at all understand how this company is still in business. They performed a move for me from Virginia to Missouri in 2019. I paid $27,000, and they LOST a huge amount of my belongings. When I tried to file a claim, they bumped me to Anthem Insurance, and Anthem was impossible to work with. They asked for paperwork which I did not have. I reached out to Revolution Van Lines who said they would send me all of the required paperwork. They never sent me all of the documentation. I was able to piece together enough from the BOL, email correspondence, and invoicing to satisfy Anthem, I thought. Anthem went radio silent on me and would not call back. I would email them weekly, then monthly, & when they finally got back to me, they said my claim was closed. In the meantime, I was calling Revolution Van Lines to help me out, but they would not call me back. I paid extra for storage of my belongings with Revolution Van Lines, and what I did get was not properly stored. So I had water damage on my items as well as several boxes full of bugs from their warehouse. Additionally, I had many many items damaged, including a TV that was not professionally packed, and handmade furniture that could not be replaced. They broke the entire corner off of the bezel of that TV. I have never seen one cent of money for the damages or any communication at all. Also, they made me pay for everything with money orders, and refused to unload my van at the final destination. I had to run around town to get my money in order. Lastly, when they finished unloading everything, I had to move a pretty significant amount of stuff back out into the van for them, letting them know that those weren't my belongings. They asked me if I, "wanted them anyway." I said no, they belong to someone else. My advice, save up a little more money and go with someone reputable like Mayflower, Bekins, or United Van Lines. My experience was that Revolution Van Lines lost or damaged more than I saved by going with them. I have a step by step of my experience documented in a multi-page letter that I sent to them. Their movers are horrible! Move from FL to MN, the FL movers were incompetent and inexperienced. They defaulted to my brother to validate everything I said (my stuff, my payment, my move) but after everything I said, they looked to my brother, showed him the room in the truck, and if I said I didn't need something, they looked to my brother to verify. Enough so that I addressed it, and my brother addressed it- "This is her stuff, her move, she's paying, I am just here." It continued. They argued 4 times items weren't on their inventory list- each time I showed them the item, even calling the service rep I put together the inventory with once. I told them there were 3 plastic tubs and four standard kitchen trash bags of clothes not on the original inventory list that were extra. The mover said it would take 94 cubic feet extra, so another $1000. I had no choice- I needed my items moved. I asked basic questions- example: Will someone call me during the window of 2 weeks my stuff is being moved to update me?- and the mover didn't understand my question. This happened 3 times. I have no problem with English not being your first or second language, but if you are moving someone's personal belongings, and they are paying thousands of dollars, understand basic, related questions. The movers in MN were horrible too. There were over 20 items with duplicate numbers- the number issued somehow was on two different physical items. 7 pieces on the inventory list didn't show up in MN. So many pieces didn't have stickers. They charged me $100 because I have an elevator to get to the second floor- an elevator fee, direct to the driver. They took my ladder with them when they left. Calling to complain to the company got me nowhere, we went in circles, basically they aren't responsible for anything. Please, use any other service!!! read more

PLEASE AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, AND DO NOT USE A MOVING BROKER. TL;DR It fraudulently claims that it's a member of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA), which is required by law to be an interstate carrier, but it is NOT a member (see screenshot from AMSA). Also, the Better Business Bureau rated this company an F (see screenshot) because it never responded to inquires and complaints. I did not select this company for my move; First United, a moving broker, selected this company for me. I had a hectic international travel schedule at the time I had to plan my cross-country move from DC to LA, and the agent at First United was extremely persistent (should have been a red flag). My move date was Nov 4, 2019, and my claim for damages have still not been resolved through its agent, CSI Pros. But more importantly, Revolution overcharged me more than $1,800 by claiming I "had more stuff than the quote" after loading the truck, and leaving me no option to make other plans. Then, they held my shipment hostage by claiming their delivery truck could not fit onto my street and said I would have to pay an additional $900 in CASH for them to rent a smaller truck to make the move. When I paid the ransom to get my shipment, I actually measured every single item and found that I not only did not reach the claimed cubic feet they said I had, but was far below the original quote. All in all, I was overcharged just shy of $3,000. Revolution has completely ignored my complaints and all justification and evidence. When I called AMSA, the organization Revolution falsely claims to be a member of, the representative was completely aghast. AMSA advised I sue the company and go through the court system, and also said AMSA lawyers will send a cease and desist letter to Revolution for fraudulently representing itself to be a member of its federally mandated arbitration program. Furthermore, when processing my claim for actual damages, Revolution, through CSI Pros, claims that a particular bookcase is not covered because it is made of engineered wood. Initially, it denied the claim because the rep could not "clearly see damage" in the photo. Once I sent photos clearly showing damage, the rep claims it's not covered because of the construction material. The agent completely ignored my repeated requests for substantiation in the form of contractual language or otherwise (there is none, and all agents claimed "everything is covered") for two months, then claimed that my case was closed due to "lack of interest." I am engaging with the agent's management and am waiting to see how this pans out. Pending how this gets settled, I will be going through with a lawsuit against all three companies. Please do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with the U.S. Department of Transportation FMCSA and handbook on mover fraud -- this company exhibits all red flags. This company and its cohorts (broker First United and CSI Pros damage processor) are conspiring to defraud people and are taking advantage of the seemingly broken federal enforcement agencies. It was easily one of the biggest failures of a job that I have ever seen. Both movers spoke either no English at all or broken English to the point where I had to use Google translate to convey my needs as well as try and understand where they needed me to sign on the paperwork. If I had questions about the move or the paperwork neither worker could help me and would simply point or say call the company. When something was broken or done improperly I was told to simply call the company. That in itself is horrendous customer service and infuriating. They arrived a little over a week after pickup at 8pm at night on a Tuesday when others like myself have to work the next morning. When I met them at the entrance to my building and they opened the back door of the truck everything was toppled over and boxes were crushed. There was no load bars used or strapping of any kind. I was simply told "this is our second delivery today and everything fell, there is nothing we could do sorry." When they started bringing in the items they were recklessly dropping them. One box that was placed aggressively on the ground had a $3000 computer in it. After every "oops sorry" all I got in response was a flustered call the company and they will fix it. If I had known my personal belongings would have been destroyed and treated this poorly by your company I wouldn't have worked two jobs to save up the $7200 and change to "make my life easier". I would have taken a full week to do it myself. At least none of it would have been utterly trashed. I got refunded for the damaged goods through MY insurance and they refused to refund me any money from the actual moving service itself. Still in the middle of doing business with Revolution Van Lines LLC (used to be named THE BEST RATE RELOCATION SYSTEMS LLC). This has been the worst moving experience of my life and it's not even over yet. I blame myself for not reading everything I signed. The move is from VA to CA. On the day of the move, they loaded up the truck pretty well. I felt confident with how they packaged my furniture. Then I noticed a bunch of stuff on the ground that was not being put into the truck. I come to find out that these were items that would put me "above my estimated sqft". The guy eyeballed it and said, "Let's just agree that all of this will be an extra roughly ~400 sqft and if it goes over that, you won't be charged." +$2,600 to my already expensive move. I was told that my items would be loaded onto an 18 wheeler the next day to be shipped to me. Today it has been 9 days since they picked up my items. Every day I call them, it's the same thing. "They are still working on your order." What does that mean? It means my stuff is sitting in some warehouse because they don't have a truck to load it into. I've even asked to speak directly with the owner, Abraham Gudiel, and have just been given the runaround as to why he's unavailable each time. Aka he knows his customers are unhappy and just doesn't give a damn. Back on the phone, I mentioned that I was told "18 wheeler the next day" and customer service said, "oh yeah they shouldn't have told you that. It will be 15-21 days AFTER the 'first available delivery date'". How convenient that when I signed the contract, the guy made sure I did NOT fill out that date. So the first day you call in to get an update on your delivery, they mention that you didn't fill out that date and to email it to them. It's just a shady scheme to buy them an extra few days. Finally, after calling them every single day, today I received a verbal confirmation that it will be loaded onto the truck 7 days from now. I asked for an email confirmation but have not received it. I may or may not have recorded that phone call. IT TAKES 16 DAYS UNTIL MY STUFF EVEN MAKES IT ONTO A TRUCK? MAYBE??? And then what? 5-10 days before the delivery even shows up? Absolute insanity and unacceptable. Only saving grace is that I was smart and I had my home security camera pointed at the moving truck on day of pickup. I have a 4k video recording of everything that made it onto that truck. I reviewed it and even saw them drop my TV pretty harshly on the corner, probably broken. I'm not going to be the victim of "missing" aka stolen items or broken items where you can clearly see the condition in the video. I would be damn surprised if ALL of my stuff made it here without damage. Just grateful that I have two lawyers in the family who can help with any legal course of action I may be able to take since I've compiled some evidence against the company/owner. Will also be filing a complaint with FMCSA and BBB. Do yourself a favor and take a HARD PASS on this company. Make sure your broker doesn't subcontract these guys either! read more

The 5-10 business day windown of delivery that is written in the contract has already passed, and we cannot get a clear answer as to when they even plan on loading our furniture on the truck. They only have to pay us $25/day after the original 5-10 business days. We have spoken on the phone with Abe and Gody multiple times, who continue to tell us different information everytime. When our stuff arrived in CO - first off the movers were horrible. We ended up helping carrying items, the men they had appeared to be random people completely unqualified. My husband had to help carry the heavier items. They also refused to wear masks during a time when COVID was peaking in the error. Here is the real quicker and my advice. Read the fine print. Revolution vane lines lost my bike. The bike was worth about $800 we had all receipts for the bike and proof of purchase. My husband's bike made it but mine didn't. This is odd in itself, it's a large item, not a random box. The reimbursement took 3 months. And they say the'll give us $24 dollars. Really? For a specialized women's bike? Apparently they reimburse per pound........ Save yourself from a nightmare. DO not use this company or Trinity movers. Everything was packaged so quickly and nothing broke. We got our stuff in only a few days, way quicker than expected. I had a very bad experience with this company. The broker Trinity relocation group sent me these movers. I had a good ''binding'' quote from Trinity and I have not added anything substantial to the items to be moved. I actually removed several items so I was sure my price should be OK. To be sure though I asked Revolution Van Lines guys to give me their price before they started loading the truck - they refused. As I said, I did not worry much since I had a lot of experience moving and I did not add any items I thought if the price goes up 200 -300 USD it's fine. Well, it was dark outside when the truck was loaded that when they announced their price which was 2K more. This is double of the ''binding'' quote I agreed to. I showed my quote and my contract they said it does not mean anything. The Revolution Van Line bulled me into signing a new contract with a new price by threatening to unload the truck. I was not comfortable with the new price and the contract but at this point, I did not have a choice. This deceiving practice that movers use nowadays is unacceptable and in my opinion simply criminal. I Do not recommend these movers. They also came in without masks during the pandemic and they lost parts required to put my bed together - so now I cannot use it anymore In addition, they broke my large mirror. I paid extra for them to pack the mirror and my understanding was is that they should guaranty its safe transportation because of that extra I paid. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They made this the most stressful move I've ever had. First, three days before the movers arrived, we received a call from the company confirming the movers would come Saturday between 8am and 10am. While on the call, we confirmed that the movers would be able to accept personal check as payment, as we needed concrete receipts for employer reimbursement. The representative said yes, it would be no problem and to make the check out to Revolution Van Lines. On the day of the move, the driver called to say he was 30 minutes away. For an hour, we waited outside for them to arrive. The lateness is understandable - traffic can be unpredictable. However, once the truck got to our apartment, we had to go ask them to get started as one mover was sleeping in the back and the other was on a personal call as we just stood there waiting. After waiting another 30 minutes for them to get started, we were informed that they would not be able to take a check, and would only accept cash or credit card payment with an additional 5% fee. Based on the call with the company 3 days ago, we called that same number back on the spot and she confirmed she did tell us personal check was accepted but she was wrong, oh well. Unbelievable. Adding insult to injury, the movers then informed us that delivery would NOT be the 2-3 days we were promised when booking the move through the lead broker, but instead we should expect to wait 7 days and possibly as long as 21 days. Shocked, we asked when we would know, and were told the best notice they could give us for our 10 hr relocation would be 24 hours' notice. The movers made delivery 6 days later. However, they were unwilling to work with us on when exactly they were arriving and did not seem to realize or care that we were not the only residents in our building and could not just reserve the loading dock at any given day at any time, especially not 24 hours ahead of time. We were told they were coming at noon and if we couldn't make that work then our stuff would be unloaded at the warehouse and the 21-day clock would restart. We had to frantically work with our building to accommodate them. Ultimately, we spoke directly to the driver coming to deliver and he was the first competent and kind human at Revolution we encountered. He personally worked with us to coordinate delivering not at noon but between 2pm-4pm because of a more realistic traffic estimate. Perhaps the WORST part of working with Revolution was the delivery - the driver informed us now they would ONLY take CASH. We had to frantically run to ATM to withdraw over $1k in cash or else they wouldn't unload our items. We asked why they were able to take credit card on the pick-up but not delivery and were told "that's the way it is." They did not deliver the following items: our 2 TVs, a computer monitor, half of our couch, our rug, a shelving unit, a tv console, part of our dining table, and the list goes on. We were shocked by this and asked the mover where our stuff was, how could we get it, and were we really still expected to pay in full for only half the items? The mover called his boss who told him the items were either delivered to ANOTHER HOUSE or still in the warehouse. Of course, they couldn't say which because conveniently no one in the warehouse was answering. They left without any help other than telling us to call the office on Monday. For the next week, we called Revolution DAILY asking about our items. For the first 3 days, we were told someone would call back. No one ever did. On day 4 of calling, we finally spoke to someone who asked us to email them the list of items missing. She promised a call back. On day 5, she did indeed finally call back and confirm the items were all in the warehouse and they mistakenly left them. She said they would get delivered on day 8 since a truck was already coming to our area. No other recourse was offered. Then, the next day, we received a call from another moving company saying they had our stuff and were coming at 5pm. This new company said they ended up with our stuff because if they didn't take it, Revolution wouldn't have shipped it back to us for another 2 weeks. However, they didn't have a list of what was ours, they were just assigned to the already packed truck. We had to point at items in the back of the truck to get our things back. Revolution at no point informed them or us about this new delivery, never offered an apology, and did not return any of our nearly $4k payment. I had to call them in order for them to explain to me how the delivery date is not the actual date it will be delivered. I was called a day before stating they will be there at a certain time. I took off of work for them not to show up on time. Missed a day of pay. Horrible. Also, to top it all of they packed my brand new 50' TV and broke it. This was not a good company. If you are using US standard and moving company they subcontract to Revolution Van Lines. BEWARE. I had items lost and I am certain they were stolen. The men who picked up my stuff were led by a man who belittled me and made up the price of the move for additional charges. It was much more than the estimate and additional fees were calculated but not able to itemize the calculation. Lots of things were broken, but the greatest loss was a box with 2 drawers (made by my father) and a tool box. This was the last box on the truck and they knew the tool box was there. I used this company (without checking reviews) from Virginia to South Carolina. A large amount of my furniture was damaged. Bruising on the wooden corners, scratched tables, ect. We were missing a couch, tv, weights, and other things. I called and they said they would not bring it down if they found it and would give me 60 cents per pound of what was lost. I have made multiple moves within the DC-MD-VA area over the last 18 years and this is BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a move. 1.I chose the 12pm-3pm moving window because that would offer the best traffic options and, therefore, the shortest move time. At 12:08pm, I received a call from the driver saying that he wasn't going to finish with his current job until 2pm. 2.When I called the office, I was told (per Abe the owner/manager) that no consideration would be given because that 12-3pm window meant delivery could be anytime within that (if that were true, why did the driver call me at 12:08 to tell me he was going to be at least 2 hours late?) 3. The movers arrived at my address at 3:56pm. 4. Because of their delay, the move got caught by an afternoon thunder storm, which slowed things down (note no rain at all until about 4:15pm) 5. As I directed them by phone from next door at the destination (I could see the truck through a fence), I heard my glass table smash as they drove across a speed bump. 6. Losing the table did not both me nearly as much as their failure to take responsibility for it, accusing me of refusing the standard care I was told on the phone it would receive after I bubble wrapped the glass AND asked them if it needed more bubble wrap since I had several yards left. Then they wanted to leave the smashed glass table with me or charge me $75 to dispose of it. 7. Once they finally parked at the appropriate spot, they refused to start unloading until they received payment for the balance of the 3 hours. AND they added a 5% charge for paying with credit card -- they were happy to take my $165 down payment by card with no extra charge. There is nothing in the contract or on the credit card form saying there is a 5% charge. So basically they extort you -- you pay, or your stuff doesn't get unloaded off the truck. AND it took them 20 minutes to process the charge on the phone. 8. I had asked that 2 shelves be set-up in my space. I called the office about it 2 days prior. They told me it would be no problem. The driver seemed to think it could be a problem. When he saw the 2 boxes in which the storage racks came, he said, "Oh that's easy! That shouldn't take much time." Luis had built one while the other two guys. Luis came to help them finish the 2nd. IF this had been the only delay, I would have owned that and been okay with may another $165 for another hour, but MOST of the delay was their sorry processing and their at least hour-long delay, even if you use their bogus delivery timetable. 9. Then the owner called to commandeer the driver to charge me for an extra hour; to Eric's defense, he did try to reason with the owner saying that I shouldn't have to pay for time when they were prohibited from continuing the work while I waited for them to process my card. 10. But I had to help unload the truck my self to finish by 8:20pm because David was too busy trying to get Eric's input on something he thought was more important than my move at the time...for which I STILL had to pay an extra $165. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We talked with Ruben who gave us a really good estimate and assured us that our items would be delivered 1-3 business days after they get picked up. Therefore, we scheduled our pick-up accordingly based on that information. Fast forward, and on the day of our scheduled pick-up, the movers are 2.5 hours late. We had 2 pick-up locations, and they were also an hour late to the second location, even though it was only a 20 minute drive between locations. Our cost was also much higher than previously discussed, even though all of our dimensions and items were precisely reported. After our items were picked up, we called Revolution the next day to ask them when we could expect our items to be delivered. The customer service rep, Sarah, said that it would be 5-10 business days after the "earliest possible delivery date" that we put on the contract, which she stated was 6/30. However, on multiple other versions of the contract, we had put down 6/30 as our "latest possible delivery date" and the only contract where it was written as the "earliest possible delivery date" was the one that the movers had us sign on the day of pick-up. The movers actually said "please write down when you'd like your items to be delivered," which is why 6/30 was written down in the first place. Furthermore, the contract clearly states that arrangements can be made for earlier delivery, which we did arrange with Ruben prior. When we asked Sarah about this discrepancy, she insisted that they would go with the contract where 6/30 the earliest possible day, not the latest. And then delivery would be 5-10 business days after that. She did not care to offer a reason why as to why one contract took precedence over the others. At this point, we were extremely frustrated because the 5-10 business days was never communicated to us, seeing as Ruben had consistently said 1-3 business days. However, the contract we had signed said 5-10 business days, and Revolution said the contract was what they'd go with. They would not budge on this matter at all. Their manager, Mr. Goudi, was rude and unprofessional when we explained to him how wrong it was for his employees to say one thing, and his contracts to say another. He interrupted us, spoke over us, and tried to give us a lecture on how contracts work. He neglected to acknowledge the part of the contract where it said arrangements could be made. His inability to do his job properly was now affecting our abilities to start our careers, because we had no clothing or furniture and were starting work soon in a new city. He knew he had this power over us, and said that if we wanted our belongings we can pay an extra $2,000 to get it delivered on the day we needed it. We were absolutely appalled at the thought of offering this business another penny from our wallets. After endless frustration and stress of losing our items that were now held hostage by Revolution Van Lines, we discussed picking up our items from the warehouse to move them in ourselves -- a huge inconvenience for us and one we wanted to avoid by hiring movers in the first place. Revolution provided us a new contract for the release of our items in which we discovered a lot of discrepancies in the language of the contract from what we had been assured over the phone. First, we were told we would not be charged the second half of the total balance we owed them, yet the contract explicitly stated "CUSTOMER will agree to pay the delivery balance and any additional fees as storage fee or any other expenses paid by revolution van lines llc". In addition, the first item on the contract stated Revolution would take no responsibility for damaged or missing items, meaning they were free to just keep or toss our items before our pick up if they chose to do so. After reviewing the contract, we expressed our concerns on these points and were essentially told to just ignore them and sign because they didn't apply to us. They claimed any missing items could be reported by filing a claim (which other reviewers unfortunately have stated were never addressed) and that the delivery balance was in regards to a "re-delivery fee" which we would not have if we picked up our items. We continued to express our discomfort signing unless amendments were made to explicitly state that extra charges would only be for "re-delivery fees" and not for the "delivery balance" and that Revolution Van Lines would take responsibility for any missing items. They refused to do so and essentially cornered us into signing the release form as the alternative options were to receive our items too late or to lose them to the warehouse entirely. However, we ended up signing and agreeing on a date and time to pick up our items. Only then, after we threatened to come retrieve our items and Revolution realized the risk of losing the second half of our payment, did they offer an earlier delivery date. read more

I was moving from Virginia and happened to click a google ad for moving. Revolution Van called me in 15 seconds flat. After some talking with their scheduler, I thought they sounded good enough. They showed up to pick up my stuff in a truck too small for my property. The movers seemed fine but had to come back the next day. The next day they took some of what was left and refused other stuff. I literally threw possessions away because I couldn't take them in my vehicle while they drove away with a mostly empty van. It was my closing day and I had no other choice. Anyways, I paid with a credit card for the pick up. They stated my stuff would be in a climate controlled storage area. When they delivered my property, I started noticing all the wooden furniture was banged up on the edges. My $2500 table was scratched. Everything was covered in stink bugs. My three seat power theater recliner was gone. 400 LBs of weights (which went up in value during the plandemic). Car stereo which was listed as an item. 65" tv gone. All in all I calculated over $4000 in missing goods. Plus my treadmill was covered in rust and the conveyor belt was shredded. The movers lied and said they'd just send the rest. I called claims who said they would give me nothing for the $4000 in missing goods and due to DOT regulations, they aren't liable. They literally admitted they are free to steal what they want and there's really nothing you can do. Mean while there's hundreds of stink bugs all over my brand new house. I've had to call my credit card to have them take action and still waiting for an outcome. These people literally steal your stuff and brazenly tell you the law is in their favor. read more

RUN RUN RUN...with your stuff on your back...it will get there much faster and cost you so much less. This outfit is a nightmare. Lots of promises up front and then nothing. It took two weeks for our stuff to get delivered and cost more than twice what was promised. They fast talk you through signing documents so you don't have a leg to stand on in the end. And because you want your stuff, you pay it. AND by the way...they want that final payment in CASH before they take the stuff off the van. That sweet sales guy never mentions that! I was told by the broker company that the moving company would provide the stuff to wrap my TVs and my vanity. When these guys showed up. They were rude and unprofessional. They did not want to load my stuff because they had the wrong invoice. They seemed like they wanted more money for wrapping stuff that I was not told needed to be wrapped or boxed. read more

Completely and utterly awful moving service. I went through US Standard Moving (scam company) and ended up with Revolution Van Lines with no choice. The main mover, Jose, was completely unprofessional and couldn't care less about me or my situation. Jose told me the initial price would be twice the amount that was estimated and since I had to move out of my apartment that night, I had no choice. I wanted to talk to whoever was in charge of Jose but he kept rudely telling no and had the nerve to tell me that if I took any longer making my decision, I would have to pay him and his crew for working over time which didn't matter anyway since it took him and his crew of two about four hours to pack my two bedroom apartment. Maybe they could have finished sooner, but Jose kept taking personal calls (I know this since he kept talking in Spanish to little kids.) wasting my time completely. Eventually I did get the furniture in seven days, most of it chipped and damaged. Do yourself a favor and don't hire them. Cardinal van lines,LLC moving located in boyton Beach Florida, gives jobs to this company, REVOLUTION, to move people!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!! They do not deserve a star! I made reservations with cardinal moving vans llc for a move from PA to Massachusetts. with Jason.It is a six hour drive. I paid a deposit over $1000 to Cardinal. He told me I would be contacting customer service from now on at cardinal.They were to come today between 10-2 pm. At 10 AM this morning I got a call from REVOLUTION VAN LINES and told they were not coming today BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FEEL LIKE IT!!!!! Are you joking? They would come tomorrow. WOULD YOU TRUST THEM? This is when I found out Revolution was subcontracted by Cardinal. I was never told! Would you trust them even if I could do this, which I could not. I have to be out of the storage by today or I would forfeit all my items in storage. They would put a lock on my storage unit and I could not get in. I called Cardinal right after and the woman,who did not give name , and told her what happened! This is appalling! She told me that I would not get my deposit back because I cancelled them. In her miniscul brain, not taking Saturday was me cancelling. I had to make her understand by Revolution cancelling me, today, they cancelled. She could not understand this. Are you kidding me? So I explained to her that the storage unit would keep my belongings, and lock me out if I did not move out today. I asked if they were going to break the lock. She said they would issue refund. I do not believe her and will call my credit card company immediately. Do not wait for refund that may never come. She is the only person that answered the phone and is also the manager. They wrote up a misquote under reporting what we told them we had and when the movers arrive five hours late They requested we give them 3000 more dollars to do the move we had already paid $2400. $3000! When we did not have the money we had to ask the movers to leave this cost us more money in hotels we had already booked. When I called to get my money back Ruben the salesman who made the bad sale in the first place said his boss Abraham would not get on the phone and then his boss told him to tell me "sue me". I went through a broker (first mistake I made) and was put with Revolution Van Lines to move me across the country. Not only were some of my items broken when received at my new apartment (a statue my mom had give me, a dining chair), and couch cushions mysteriously missing from my couch so I had them just THROW THE COUCH AWAY (what was I going to do with a couch without cushions?!), but the real kicker was that they LOST ONE OF MY PAINTINGS!!! This was a large painting I made in college that was very meaningful to me. I have no idea how it got lost but after my move was complete I filed a claim. Based on the terms of my agreement with them (which is a $.60 per pound liability), I ended up getting $100 for all the broken stuff/couch and off course you can't put a price on a meaning painting that there is only one of. I don't understand. This is NOT ok. I would not recommend them. You should go with a mover that will be careful with your possessions. read more
