What should have taken just a few months stretched into two years of delays, constant mistakes, and endless frustration. Oscar, the owner, writes his own contracts without legal guidance, which led to repeated disputes. His team failed to finish the work multiple times, forcing us to hire additional workers to complete the job. He continuously referred us to friends who were not licensed for the work and then charged triple the fair market price. Almost everything ended up being "out of scope," which we were not told upfront. The situation got so bad that we had to hire an attorney and file complaints with CSLB just to get the issues addressed. The only reason we chose Firemax was because they submitted the lowest bid, and we deeply regret that decision. Save yourself the stress, expense, and legal trouble. Michael had great reviews and could come out sooner than the rest, so he was my first call back. But when his price was the same, I told him I just couldn't afford it again and thanked him, hoping to find someone willing to work with me to waive the 4 hour minimum for a 2 hour job. He completely surprised me. He texted back offering to walk my plumber through the job himself -- and then called in the special parts for me. No charge. Who does that for someone too cheap to hire them? Michael is a genuinely good guy, and the next time I need sprinkler service or anyone I know needs it, he's going to be my first call and recommendation.
