I went here for a series of Lazer hair removal treatments, the hair removal process wasn't effective. Unfortunately, I did get burned, the technician was apologetic and suggested some oils and time to see if my skin would recover. The owner on the other hand wasn't accountable perhaps a bit gaslighting and tried telling me it was my skin color. Well that about did for me- be cautious if using their services. It also doesn't help that the owner seems to be going back and forth with customers on reviews- perhaps some accountability and measures to make improvements based on constructive criticism or feedback could be beneficial. read more

I bought one of the Living Social Deals for 3 treatments on my bikini line, and Marina did the first two. Don't hate me people, but my hair doesn't grow that fast/not that much of it, but after two appointments (6-7 weeks apart) it looks FANTASTIC and I am even wondering if I need my third appointment??!! I know I should go, but what's to zap the laser at? Marina is very nice, will chat during the quick appointment, and then you are out the door. The laser is nice (especially during this hot summer) since it has a cool breeze to it. This place has been a life changer, years ago I tried electrolysis and it didn't work at all so I gave up. Shaving really irritates my skin and I get very bad ingrown, so summers sort of sucked. This place changed everything! It did take about 8 sessions, but everyone's different and I was born on the much harrier side. Now my legs will stay absolutely smooth for about 8 months and then I'll go get a touch up. It's a huge confidence builder and time saver, I'd highly recommend to anyone. Bikini worked even faster (prob 5 treatments), so if you just want to try out a small area I'd recommend experimenting with that...it hurts, but so does waxing and the pain goes away in less than a minute. read more

I completed a series of laser hair removal sessions for my armpits with Anna, and that went down like a breeze. Strong of this first experience, I trusted the quality of her service for other laser services and boy was I wrong! I have a couple of spider veins that come back every few years at my laugh line. When I showed Anna at my armpit sessions, she assured she could do the spider veins on my face after checking them out. I went in 2016, and she pulled out a new laser from a box. That should have been my first hint: she must not use it very often. She started on the left side of my mouth and the power seemed too high, so I gave her the feedback, and she dialed in down for the right side. A couple of weeks later, as I was doing routine inspection of my face, I notice that there was now a depressed spot on the left side of my mouth, where she first zapped. It's like a scar, but a dimple that won't fill up. I called Anna, and she said that the fat must have collapsed, and I can come back and pay another type of treatment to try to fill it. I was so shocked she woulnd't own any of the responsibility. After all, I am a repeat customer, I will need these veins to be repaired on a regular basis, and I can't afford a new dimple with each and every treatment - she lost a repeat customer - I guess she has enough business now...not like at the beginning, when it seemed she would have cared more :-( read more

During the beginning of each series, she set my expectations on how long it will take, how it would feel, the variables that will impact my results, and how to prepare myself pre- and post-treatment. I have been to another laser treatment center so I can compare lasers, down time, and rescheduling situations between this and one other center. This laser is much more painful than the other one I used. There is also some downtime with this laser. I didn't have any downtime with the other laser. Things like taking a hot shower within 24 hours was not allowed. They will try to accommodate rescheduling however good luck getting them on the phone. You just leave a message. I called numerous times during their office hours and couldn't reach anyone. The rescheduled time was for about 24 hours later, however I mistakenly put it down for the following week. I was very dismayed to learn that not only will I be charged a fee but will also need to eat the cost of the session. read more

I went in really scared, and I remember that the first time the pain was almost unbearable for me. I was telling the technician that I just wanted to leave. But she was firm and convinced me to stay and was really patient with me. And after I gritted my teeth for a few minutes, she was right, and it was fine and I was very happy with the results. She was professional and friendly, and made me feel comfortable despite the nature of what was being done to me, i.e. burning the hair off me. The subsequent sessions were really fast and efficient. I'm surprised to see that people have had such a bad vibe of this place. Booking an appointment here is tough, months in advance tough. You would think because of that people would have their schedule in place and not deal with the cancellation charge. They inform you of their cancellation policy and I have cancelled an appointment before without trouble (48hrs in advance like I am supposed to). In my experience, laser appointments can be pretty quick. As a business wanting to make money you want to be able to book as many as possible and last minute cancels likely have a hard time being filled... but that is just my two cents. I have been seeing Jackie here for a year. She makes the entire process quick, comfortable, and easy. It is painful, but the pain is worth it in my opinion (and she will take breaks). I have had 4 sessions of laser, I am fair skinned with medium brown / auburn hair. The results have been amazing. After my 1st session Jackie was not pleased with the amount of re-growth and increased the laser setting. I've had not problems because I follow the aftercare instructions. I am 5 months out from my last session with a few stray hairs but overall, hair free. The emphasis here is that it took 4 sessions, and I left it alone in between (NO TWEEZING). I used to spend 40-50 dollars once a month for waxing, so the cost is really in favor of laser treatment when I break it down. read more

I was being a huge baby because I was going to another place (which had abruptly closed down) and the process there was pretty painful. Anna assured me that I would not experience that here. I want to give them 4.5 stars but seeing as how that's not an option they get 5. I've been coming here for 6 sessions now and it definitely seems to be working. The -.5 stars is for the pain I've endured thus far. Yes ladies (and gents) it hurts, but it's so worth it. Believe me, if I can do it, then you can do it; and my pitiful pain tolerance is really no reflection on them. Anna is actually great! She makes you feel very comfortable and is extremely patient with clients who are squirmish and need some breaks throughout the sessions (ahem....) she once even gave me a stress ball to hold onto! She also makes sure to give you the low down on how everything works when you first go which is great. The prices are descent enough; they're not out to jip you or anything. I originally bought a groupon for a 3 session package and Anna was nice enough to honor the same price for another 3. Works very well, but as she explains, it depends on the hair you have. After a few treatments she felt it wasn't taking well enough and upped the laser strength (which hurts a lot more, but results in a better take as the laser penetrates deeper). I started going to All In One Laser with a Groupon in 2012. Anna was very nice and professional and she kept good conversation going during treatments to distract me from the pain. Despite this, there were times that I felt the hair grew back more quickly than others. After one visit, I had some scabbing, as well as patches of hair that hadn't been removed. I went back in for Anna to remove the rest and was assured this was not a burn. Then I started going to Jackie who I absolutely loved. I felt that the results were a bit better with her. It could be due to the fact that she didn't shave me each time. Over the years I really didn't see as much improvement as I would have liked. I know everyone responds to laser differently, but it simply didn't work for me. I eventually just started going every 6 weeks for maintenance so I didn't have to wax. Its disheartening that in 4 and a half years I spent over 3 thousand dollars and I still get growth. It's not as bad as it was when I started, but I'm nowhere near pleased with the results. I am trying electrolysis now in hopes that I get the results I should have gotten years ago. I will miss Jackie though! read more

Just had my first treatment today for brazilian ;) Anna is fabulous! She uses a special air cooling attachment that makes it so much less painful than other laser places. We bought a Groupon for our daughter. The place is ok, parking stinks, but it is Watertown. Small waiting room, not really enough seats. Tight quarters means you can clearly hear the conversations in both treatment rooms. Nothing better than hearing conversations about drunken escapades with ex boyfriends while you are sitting there with your 16 yo daughter, but I digress... They seem nice enough, although their scheduling could use some help. They did manage to burn our daughter's upper lip. Something that hadn't happened with a previous laser treatment. We decided to go back a second time to see if they could use a lower power setting. We waited fifteen minutes past our appointment time, listening to the conversations as usual, then had to leave for another appointment. Half an hour later, as I was at my other appointment, I received a call. The woman was yelling that we missed the appointment and we would be charged unless we came back right now. I calmly mentioned that we waited, but she was late and she became threatening. I told her that's fine, keep the money. Very unprofessional. So.... we had a bad experience, others have had a good one. All I can say is buyer beware, I choose not to go back because of poor customer service and burned skin. read more

After 6 visits and no results, I decided to go to a Dermatologist for laser hair removal. She uses the same machine, the Candela GentleMAX, and without exaggeration applies double the energy that Anna used. I appreciate that Anna didn't want to burn my skin, but using a setting so low that the treatment will not be effective is not only deceitful and completely immoral, but shows Anna's lack of experience. read more

This is the second place I've gone to for laser hair removal. I've had a great experience so far. I'm going to address a few of the things that have come up multiple times: Does laser hair removal hurt? Yes, but it's really not that bad. Honestly, it really isn't. Some body parts hurt more than others and obviously people have different tolerance levels, but if you can handle waxing or plucking, you can handle this. They have the built in cooling device that not all places have, and that makes a big difference. Is the place hard to find? I'm not quite sure why this is an issue. It's between Dependable Dry Cleaners and Vows bridal and upstairs from Remax. There is a small parking lot in the back and plenty or street parking. I'm not sure why this has been such a big issue for people. Does it really work? After 3 treatments on 2 different body areas, I notice a significant reduction in hair. This wasn't the case with the previous place I went. You have to follow instructions (no plucking, waxing, etc. in between appointments, no sun exposure, shave a day or so before your appointment (depending on your situation)) and if you do, it will most likely work for you. You have to be patient as it could take up to a year for you to be "hairless" due to the spacing out of appointments and hair growth cycles. You may need more than the average number of appointments depending on hormones, how you react, your growth cycles, etc. Just don't expect instant results. Are the settings too low? Before your first appointment, you have to fill out a survey about your skin type . . .color, burning tendencies, etc. and they determine the settings based on that. So, guess what? If you indicate you have sensitive skin and you're really fair, they're not going to crank it up for you until they see how you react. Any place that does isn't giving you more for you money, they're actually risking the health and appearance of your skin. Price - Laser hair removal isn't cheap. period. However, neither is waxing and shaving when you add it up over a lifetime. With that said, All in One is very reasonably priced for LHR in the Boston area. Trust me, I've compared. You may be able to get it a littler cheaper elsewhere but who knows if those folks know what they're doing. It's not worth saving 50 bucks to risk ending up with burns, scars, or the same amount of hair you had. $300 to never have to shave your underarms again in your life!? Money well spent in my opinion! Eat out one less time each month and there's your $300. Appointments - They always take me in within 10 minutes of my scheduled time (usually right on time). I hate having an appointment, getting there on time, and then having to wait 30 minutes. That won't happen here. They are respectful of your time. I hope that helps! read more

The best! Having been to a couple other places this one definitely wins. Their prices are awesome, and they are constantly having great specials. (I've looked at places that wanted to charge me thousands of dollars more.) Both Jackie and Anna are extremely personable and will make you feel comfortable no matter what. As other reviewers have mentioned: yes, laser hair removal hurts. But, if it's what you want then it's worth it. (Considering how much brazilian (and other) waxes cost it can be a HUGE money saver as well as really convenient). Laser hair removal isn't magic. It works more quickly on certain skin type/hair combinations than others, so for some people it takes more or fewer sessions. Scheduling was fairly easy as long as I scheduled my next appointment during my current appointment. My one gripe is the cancellation policy. I don't want to go through the whole story, but mistakes in scheduling happen and in this case it was their mistake. So, Anna, for one, is the sweetest. She gets to know you and she actually REMEMBERS who you are. I don't know about you, but when someone is getting a close up of my lady parts, I'm pleased to know they actually know me and we can have a decent conversation to make the appointment go smoothly. Some things to know: 1. Yes, the waiting room is small and you can hear conversations through the walls, but are we not allowed to talk about what we want to just because someone is in the waiting room? No. We pay for our appointments, too, and ours shouldn't be in awkward silence or small talk to satisfy a stranger. Bring an iPod if you can't stand to hear it. 2. Yes, the parking lot is small, but in Watertown there are SOOO many businesses with NO parking at all. Keep that in mind. 3. Laser removal takes time and if you're looking for your hair to be gone by the first to third treatment, then some research needs to be done on the subject matter before doing it. 4. Appointments--okay, so this is where both sides of the coin are right, but will never be on the same side. This business is extremely strict about appointments. It's frustrating when you're a small business and want to satisfy your customers, so you try to squeeze them all in. It's also frustrating to work everyday without a day off and get blown off; HOWEVER, there has to be some way to better address this. Maybe there shouldn't be a charge for EVERY missed appointment, but they should allow a one-time cancellation and, AFTER that, a fee will be charged--or maybe grant a 24-hour cancellation period rather than 48. Some things come up that we cannot plan for so a "grace-period" should be allowed. I don't know. I don't own a business--I just write reviews. 5. I've never felt more relaxed, safe, and happier with what I get done here. Yeah, yeah, there are flaws, but seriously? What business is perfect? It's cheaper than any other place I found, the results are great, and I HAVE NEVER EVER been burned. I drive all the way from RI because I think this place is great. I bought a groupon for laser hair removal on a medium area. The place is really really tiny. There is no reception area or anything. Just a waiting area with one room on the left and one room on the right. I started to doubt initially if I made the wrong decision of coming here but I had no choice at that time so I stayed and waited for someone from one of the two rooms to come out and talk to me. After like 15 mins or so one of them came out after finishing up with the client and handed me the paper work. At that point I was still unsure if I had made the right choice. Then Jackie came out after finishing up with a client and took my paper work and gave me a quick rundown on the treatment process. I got the treatment for my neck and was happy with the results after just 3 sitting. Since my experience was good I went ahead and got my underarms and bikini areas treated too and so far I am impressed with the results. I had almost all my appointments with Jackie (I asked for her specifically after reading everybody else's reviews here on Yelp) and she is awesome. I had one appointment with Anna. Anna is very nice but the laser treatment was not. (Had to take a star away for this reason) Jackie is thorough with her work, pays attention to minute details. I would definitely ask for Jackie if you are planning to come here. As for the details of my hair for the laser treatment, my hair color is black. My skin color is not too dark nor am I fair skinned.
