The menu here is short and sweet and everything was all ordered was sensational. I had a very good Caesar salad that was made the right way with a ton of anchovies My entree was a GRILLED SHRIMP Lemon, Butter, Garlic and Calabrian Chili that I loved The ambiance here was more subdued than the other four RH's I've been to, and the service was exceptional as always. RH is a guarantee for a good meal. Their elevated decor, professional service, and consistently good food will occur regardless of location. Must-Haves Fried Artichoke. This is a unique offering when compared to the expected grilled or steamed artichoke. It's accompanied by an aioli that complements it perfectly. Lobster Rolls. The bread, the freshness of the lobster, and the caviar topping will win you over. It's portioned at the correct size not to allow it to get you to the "I'm over it phase," which you may run into with other rolls. Ribeye. A thin ribeye is always a treat when grilled to your desired temperature. A char beats a crust when it comes to this one. Although it did make me miss the Ontario and Alberta beef I had at their Toronto location, their prime beef still satisfied me. All Their Salads. There's just something about them. Their wine and beer list could use a few more options, but with a minimal corkage fee, I can't deduct points for that. But they need an in-house-made dessert option. read more

Scrumptious Truffle Fries. Super clean and well-designed restrooms. Third time and bummed it was disappointing. Shrimp and veggie salad charred but that would have been not worth a review.... Though maybe they should have noticed how much of veggies were burnt !! The stand out issue - unfortunately, unlike last time, when trying to find an all plant based vegan main dish, we all landed on the Chinese chicken salad. No chicken add avocado and try offered to alter the price. BUT this time same price without chicken. This time the waiter said Hmm and would talk to manager. When manager dropped off the bill, I asked if waiter said anything. He said No, offering a lovely smile and said he would adjust. The bill was returned with no change and no words. Fine if they changed their mind from last time but at least advise the customer. The lack of clear consistent communication does not build confidence. RH - it would be easy to make that salad offering two option for chicken or avocado w/ chickpea (protein) Pricing it the same (or not) - both options offer protein in a respectful manner encouraging plant based customers. RH will make more money on the vegan option as higher margin. Adding the chickpeas or something similar to your kitchen will take up very little space, won't carry the same health risks of raw chicken. And support the health conscious plant based eaters of Montecito./Santa Barbara Some friends advised that RH upcharge an additional 4% service, that's written in fine print on the bottom of the menu. Some people have told me that they wish the company would take care of the staff especially given the RH prices versus adding it as additional percentage for customer. Like most new places in the Santa Barbara area it's new so it's trending. For a while They've told us they were working on plant based options the last two times and we've been very patient and continue to support. However, excuses have been that the kitchen is small and today it was because they are corporate and they encourage me to talk to Corporate . The ambience is lovely and the service is very good, but the food has become mediocre at best. Our chicken salad had very little chicken, and what was there was very dry. Our favorite appetizer has been taken off the menu and replaced with a so-so Caprese offering. Our hamburger came with no sides, hamburger only, and in spite of asking for it to be rare, it was medium at best. For the price point, they need to do better. If you're in the market for their trash low quality furniture and corporate slop they call food to match, then this is your new favorite spot. The hiring manager has targeted slow deft and unaware individuals who have been brain washed to a horrifying level. The whole experience was comical. The slop they call food arrived 45min later some cold, some warm, all bland and tasteless. Their vapid manager could only mutter the same sentence repeatedly with zero facial expression; could have been the Botox. Nonetheless, the cheese and wine shop across the street is far more charming and wholesome. This is the perfect place to take your thot/trophy wife or mistress with too much plastic surgery who thinks RH is "upscale". I personally can't wait until this lease is up and something with character and excellence arrives. read more

We have had lunch/brunch twice here in recent months. Both were excellent experiences. Great atmosphere and an innovative menu. Excellent staff. I have passed the old firehouse many many times over the years, so it is fun to see the way RH kept the charm of the old building while updating it to suit their needs. Free valet parking is a plus. And it's within walking distance of a variety of fun shops (with a special shoutout to David and Taft). read more

Over an hour wait at 2 pm in the afternoon for a shrimp & vegetable salad (charred-very), brunch waffles (delicious), and truffle fries (also delicious). So, I was so excited to check out the new RH Firehouse Grill in Montecito since I'm such a fan of the company in general. And you know what, it is so beautiful... the vibes are impeccable! Staff- so kind. Coffee- amazing. Salad? Mid. I have been craving this exact salad that I've had time and time again at the Yountville RH restaurant, and it was not even kind of close. The lettuce was a bit sad... however my salmon tasted great. And my server was so kind. I will for sure come back here just for the vibes alone (and the coffee). Maybe lunch one more time? Sure. I'll try it again for lunch or dinner at some point and perhaps order something else. read more

The restaurant is inside the beautiful furniture display. The mini Lobster rolls were fantastic. Two for a small starter, but you will wish you had ordered four. The avocado with caviar was delicious. Each item has a good helping of caviar, it seems like a lot for the price. The shaved ribeye dip sandwich was also delicious, almost too much. I've been to Firehouse twice. both times I've had to return my food. the first was for Branzino. it was riddled in bones. so on my second visit I decided to go for the French dip. what was served was so grotesque I would not serve my dog. The meat was beyond fatty. I have no idea who any fine restaurant could serve this. eating a French dip is a cheat meal for me and I can't believe something like this could be served. this could be an add for cardiologists across America. I'm from Montecito so i wish I just went to the honor bar for a French dip Whaf is this was a date night? the whole meal should have been comped? I love the building and what they have done with it. It is a lovely space. The food is only fair. The lobster roll is on the correct roll (rare for California) and good, but has half the amount of lobster that it should. Way too much bread to lobster ratio. Anyone who has had a proper lobster roll knows it should be stuffed with lobster overflowing. Very skimpy. The salad I had was so so, and I had to cut the chicken up with a knife to eat it. I've dined at several RH restaurants and the food is always consistently delicious. It was challenging to snag a reservation online but we walked in today for lunch and were seated right away - only half the restaurant was filled. The service started out strong but the entree salads we ordered took so long we almost got up and left. Tables that were seated after us were eating and leaving as we were still waiting for our food...when we asked the waiter to check on our food, he insisted they were working on it and didn't even offer an apology for the delay....I've never had such an odd experience at a fine dining establishment as this. I understand it recently opened but the service needs a bit of work...I thought the 1 star review below was dramatic but it was a terrible first impression. read more

Went here for brunch and it was absolutely fabulous! Its VERY small compared to other RH restaurants but it was still fantastic. We sat by the fire and enjoyed mini cavier lobster, the italian benedict ( to die for) and the RH eggs. It was absolutely delicious and we are coming back tomorrow with our family! read more

Server was so nice. She realized my food came out incorrectly and offered dessert on the house for the mistake. Will say though forgot to bring stuff I asked for. Had to remind them. But got the club sandwich and the bacon was BURNT to the point it tasted like charcoal and they still decided to send it out as is. The food was pretty good but definitely not as good as I had heard. The service was good. The atmosphere was really lush and welcoming However the attitude of this restaurant was very off-putting. First of all I called to see if I could bring in a homemade dessert for a birthday celebration. I was told they only allow bakery cakes and charge $10 per person to serve them. Also, we had a group of 8 and could not sit at one table!! Our party was split into 3 tables adjacent to each other. It definitely diminished the experience!! Clearly the owners are not concerned about guest experience but I think that is a dangerous attitude for the long term. It is bound to affect their profits going forward. The whitest restaurant in town. Outdoor setting is very pleasant, indoor feels like a dungeon. Food was average and prices were very high for what is delivered. Greens on the Chinese Chicken salad were not crisp and the whole thing had a mushy taste and feel. There was a tone of staff, all fresh and bubbly, but it never felt genuine. It's like they've all just emerged from some happiness, pretend you care training. The whole vibe of the place is pretentious. Took a very long time to get the food and service once served was non-existent. My iced tea was empty thorough half the meal and no one bothered to come near.
