    Lobster Benedict

One of the best breakfast spots in the area. They have a wide variety on the menu, service is great and overall a very pleasant experience. Special brunch menu on Friday's- got the Lobster Benedict w/ hash browns... super good!

French toast with berries, egg whites and ham! Loved it all!

Absolutely love this gem! For years I've been enjoying some of the best food, perfect ambiance & great service! This weekend I celebrated my daughter's birthday at Jeannine's & once again I left with a happy heart! From the kind lady who took my order to Max continuing to check on us and ensuring we didn't need anything! Max was friendly and attentive to detail which helped make our visit even more enjoyable! The bbq chicken salad was one of the best I've ever had along w the cornbread muffin that came with it! The berry French toast w eggs was delicious too! It's the cutest place with beautiful decor & umbrellas which make it picture perfect! Looking forward to my next visit to Jeannine's at my favorite location ...Montecito!

Beautiful patio on the main strip of Montecito

We LOVE Jeannine's! Their pastries are delicious and the outdoor patio is lovely. Every time we're in Montecito, we stop by for our two favorites -- the LEMON SQUARE and the MILLIONAIRE'S SHORTBREAD. They are both absolutely divine! Someone also mentioned that their scones are amazing, so we will try them next time we're in. Oh, and the workers are always so helpful and friendly. I popped in a little after 2pm the other day (not realizing that they had just closed), and one of the workers graciously boxed me up a couple pastries to-go. She even went downstairs to get them out of the fridge. So kind! We will be back again soon!

Bopped into Jeannine's for a quick coffee and matcha and stayed for a great breakfast! The breakfast burrito was the perfect savory start to the day and the yogurt and granola was great-- I'm a sucker for homemade granola. But the result star of the show is the banana French toast (pretty much bananas foster) and it's practically a dessert! So fluffy and sweet. Food came out really quickly. unfortunately it was a rainy day otherwise there is lots of outdoor seating. The inside is super cute though!

Tri Tip Sandwich with Poblano Peppers

Pricey sandwich for what you get. It didn't have much meat and had too much poblano peppers in the sandwich. Served with a small amount of basic refried beans with a tiny amount of cheese on top and a few tortilla chips. For 20 dollars, I was disappointed. Service was okay and ambiance was nice with outdoor seating.

Could you believe that in my four years of living in Santa Barbara, I had never been to Jeannine's? Went for the first time this weekend while visiting with friends. I had the poblano tri-tip melt which is a new menu item! Delicious! The apples in this sandwich were inventive, had a pickle vibe to them that cut through the other more muted flavors of the sandwich. I wish they served it with chips that were made in-house. Next time, I will be getting something sweet, my friend's lemon poppy pancakes were so good! Service is quick and there is more seating than there may appear to be

    Latte

My sister and I came here for Breakfast on Memorial Day on our way to Santa Barbara. It's a cute bakery and restaurant. We both got the burrito and I also got a latte. You stand in line to order and then cross your fingers that a table is available after you stood in line to order. Tables indoors are really limited to just a few and outside there are about 7-8 small tables. They do not like you to save a table. Our burritos came with a mixed melody of potatoes: golden potatoes, sweet potato and purple sweet potatoes. They were good! The burritos were a scrambled egg with pieces of bacon and cheese served with a fire roasted salsa. The latte was nice but I am used to a flavored syrup so I would have preferred if they offer a vanilla latte.

    Norwegian Benedict

My friends and I were wanting to try out Jeannine's after seeing quite a few recommendations/good reviews on social media. We were originally going to head to the Santa Barbara location but were happy to find another location in Montecito as that aligned with our plans to explore the area. The restaurant is super cute with mostly outdoor seating I believe (although the SB one did seem to have more seating both in and outdoors). We placed an order at the counter and sat outside. Although they have heaters placed outside, they don't produce a lot of heat (at least the one we sat next to), so it was a bit chilly and perhaps a better idea to sit inside during the cold months. As for food, I ordered the Norwegian Benedict with a side of bacon and a mango banana pineapple smoothie. Everything tasted quite good! The Norwegian benedict had a lot of different ingredients including cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, onions, cucumber, etc., and tasted really fresh and delicious together especially when adding a bit of bacon as well. I will say ordering the side of bacon was a bit steep ($5 for 3 pieces), so probably wouldn't get that again. I enjoyed the mango smoothie - you could really taste each fruit especially the pineapple and I appreciated that it didn't taste too sweet or seem to have artificial sweeteners (at least it didn't taste like it). My sister ordered the Chilaquiles, which I've never had before but thought they were really flavorful. Overall, the food was pretty tasty and would love to try some of their sweet breakfast items if I ever had the opportunity to come back.

    Holding my fav in Montecito

If coffee spots were likened to a BFF, Jeannine's is mine in Montecito. I always make it and issue to plan a required stop whenever I travel north. Over the years it's grown, and with it come the crowds, but with all that busyness the staff still delivers great food and consistently excellent coffee. Overall, the space is still accommodating and welcoming to meet large crowds. I didn't dine in on this trip but had take out, and of course -- a magical mocha. Thank you!

Headed to Los Angeles and we came to YELP for a nearby restaurant with a great breakfast. Jeannine's is the place! As you stand in line to place your order, you are face to face with dozens of fresh pastries and each and every one of them looks delicious. After placing our order we were handed a number and we sat outside on the patio. Heaters and pink and white striped umbrellas gave the perfect vibe for our Sunday brunch. Will was so kind and helpful, he was prompt with getting us water, taking away dirty dishes and bringing us a to go box. His attitude was so pleasant and friendly. We ordered the American Breakfast, a side of two eggs , side of bacon and the banana French toast. All were fantastic, arrived within minutes and it was more than we needed, but we would definitely order it all again. Parking was easy on the street and there is plenty, but it can get crowded and you may need to walk a bit. We highly recommend Jeannine's in Montecito if you are in the area or passing through as it's right off the 101 freeway. There are plenty of shops and other fun boutique places in the village. Enjoy!

    Breakfast burrito
    Maddy S.

Extreme tourist trap. Service was great but the food is extremely basic and overpriced. Breakfast burrito ratio is 80% egg. Everything tastes like you can make it better at home. If you're looking for mid diner quality food, it's exactly that.

    Latte and pastry to go
    Bethany R.

This place is not closed, not sure why yelp is saying that, just went. Had a pumpkin spice latte that was divine. Service was extra friendly and sweet. I told them less sugar and the latte was perfect!! I have dreams about it. No artificial flavor just the perfect fall flavor. Then I got a ham and cheese croissant and a maple scone. They packed it up nicely for me to take on the go. Wish I could have stayed and sat outside under one of their chic pink umbrellas

    Norwegian benedict
    Nellie M.

So incredibly good and simple. Perfects that homemade and cozy vibe. Seating is a bit crowded inside but they have many seats outside. They delivered our food very quick. It was really delicious! You can pick out eggs, protein, and bread which I think is really good to have that choice. A lot of places try to go over with their scrambled eggs by making them runny or vise-versa too hard and not appetizing . But these eggs were cooked perfectly. The hashbrows to be honest weren't that good but overall very delicious!!! We also ordered drinks: cappuccino, strawberry mint lemonade, and a iced caramel latte. All three were very good! I had a raspberry danish as well and it was not that good, just plain in my opinion. I really recommend this place overall!!

I got the morning cinnamon roll, pain suiss chocolat, and the chocolate almond croissant. I don't know why pain au chocolat and almond croissants are usually 2 separate things but here they were combined into one pastry and of course it is as delicious as it sounds. The pain suiss was my favorite because it had a delectably crunchy and fine texture from all of the small striations on the pastry. The display for the pastries was small and didn't seem like there was an impressive spread but everything was a hit and I am sure all of the other pastries were delicious as well. They had savory menu items too. The bad: The interior is small and there are only a few high chairs. We tried the Almond Croissant and a fruit cookie which were both good. The standout is their Kouign Amann ($5.50) which you can't find everywhere! The owner of this bakery is actually from Brittany, France - the town this little delight was created in. Dominique Ansel made me fall in love with these flaky treats, and Bree'osh does the kouign amann quite well. If you've never had one before, it's similar to a croissant with brown sugar folded into a very buttery and delicious mold. Also had a solid cold brew coffee.
