We're from NJ where breweries are only allowed to serve the beer they brew on site and nothing else, so seeing food, wine, and cocktails on the menu was a novelty for us. We didn't try anything besides the beer, but there were some impressive offerings including a penicillin cocktail, and Knackwurst, oysters, and a variety of pizza. The layout was kind of awkward, and just too big for us. Plus we had a hard time shutting the door. It's old but needs a better mechanism. We liked the first room better. The toilet was way too low on the ground. The bed as far as comfort was meh. The compliment breakfast was sub par. I've had better at a motel, one I recently stayed at too. The location is great though. Check out was ok, the person behind the desk didn't know how to smile. Maybe he was new but zero personality. We had dinner before arriving so I can't comment on their Tavern food. I think it would be nice to have someone give some info about the hotel when u get there.
