LOVE this place. Just what Sutter Creek needed. Everyone who works here is super nice, the selection is great (and according to the beer guy, only going to get better!) and the ambiance and vibe are dialed in. Order cheese, meat and bread in the deli and they'll cut it up for you and deliver to your booth or table in the bar area. Chat with the bartender for awhile, try some beers, and stick around. First time eating here. The flavors were great and the food was really fresh. We had the tacos (amazing bbq sauce!), panzanella salad, and the beans (lots of flavor). Small menu but we had half of it and all 3 were a hit! read more

Loving this place. Plenty of craft brews on tap and the place just had a really cool Gold Country vibe, but updated for the modern age. Look for the Walken Cooler as you head to the restroom. The best part though was the attached store. Wines, beers, cheeses, spices and all kinds of goodies to pick up. I cannot say enough positive things about Provisions. I have been coming here for years and cannot believe I haven't written a review yet. Their selection of tap beer is amazing! They also have a great selection of beer to choose from from their refrigerators if you want to buy select craft beer from all over California. Their food is delicious and made to order, great service, great music, and I could keep going on and on. If you're new to Sutter Creek you must stop here, you won't regret it. read more

This is a great low key owner run with a constantly changing list of great local draft beers. Rustic atmosphere with original wood floors and country music. Live music Sunday afternoons at 3 pm. Half the place is Sutter Provision groceries where you can buy a sandwich or cold cuts and cookies and bring them in to the bar half. Love the drive to Sutter as well as the town of Sutter Creek. read more

The whole point of Sutter Creek to me is getting away from the pretentiousness of the city. This store feels like it belongs in the city with its gourmet items. Give me the simple old west or at least consistent with the otherwise down-to-earth nature of Sutter Creek. read more

Terrible experience here. Not only was the food disgusting, but the owners of both the grocery store and the bar are extraordinarily rude. I saw three different employees accost a guy who had brought in his dog to the bar. There were no signs or any indication that dogs were not allowed, but the barman, the owner's wife, and the owner himself completely overreacted to this guy's old Labrador who was laying down doing nothing. They threatened him with legal action even though he was compliant with their requests. This place has such potential but the way they treated their customers made me realize this is not a place worthy of my business. read more

The place is dirty, they don't make any of their beers, the clowns behind the bar don't know much about the beers they offer, it's overly expensive, and don't ask for more the one sample of beer they might freak out like we observed. These people are rude just like the other reviewer mentioned... Save yourself some time and head across the street to the cellular or the Sutter creek hotel like we did. Super nice bartenders and tons of friendly people. Or head on over to the Amador Brewery for locally made beer and some good grub! read more

Provisions is my favorite business in Sutter Creek. Excellent craft brew selection, great people, and a wonderful ambiance of live music, Americana, and good times. DON'T come here if you want Coors Light and a basket of pretzels. DO COME HERE if you want an ever changing selection of IPAs, porters, stouts, sours, and other special and unique beers. Live music most Sundays. This is truly the locals spot to hang out. 5 stars! read more

My husband and I love this place! Great for winding down after work, lazy weekends and meeting friends. The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a casual and inviting environment... but without all the usual obnoxious clientele of a bar. We especially appreciate that you can try the beer before buying a glass. This place is great, so glad it's finally open. I know the owners and they are great people. When I heard they were putting this together I told them it would be a big hit and it's just what our town needed. Great sandwiches and specialty food item on one side and ten or twelve taps of excellent craft beer on the the other side. There is also I tiny stage where local musicians play sometimes on the weekends. Seems to be very popular every time I've been there, hope they can get some help, I know running your own business can be a lot of work for a married couple. read more

Great music and great atmosphere, really friendly staff, and the little market next door has a nice selection of beer and food not readily available in Amador County. Really wanted to give this place a great review but we were met with a $5 cover which would have been okay if equitably applied. It's not! I saw ,many people coming I after us, no cover. I could not resist, I approached the lady that charged us and she bold face lied to me and said they don't change within 10 minutes of the bands end. That would have been 8:40 and I approached her at 8:10 and it had been awhile since she was at her station and others had walked in, no charge. I was gracious, no issue, we paid. Before we left she came and said she would give the charge to the band. I'm okay with that but what a bad experience that didn't need to happen. I cannot recommend.. read more

My wife and I went to Provisions today and loved it!! Such a charming specialty market that sells wine, cheeses And snacks that would accompany the many different wines and beers they sell. They also sell some really cool small decor items. One of the best parts for me was the bar located inside, next to the shop. They had a live band playing that was awesome! Super fun and energetic. People were dancing and the crowd was loving it. I met Lots of great friendly people here. I will definitely come back and make the trip from folsom. The owners, Darin and Casey, are so personable and knowledgable about all that they offer. They love Sutter Creek and are proud to share it with the locals and visitors. Spending my birthday at the Foxes Inn and Provisions is just across the street. Perfect paring! Had some delicious beer on tap. Especially loved the Dessert Cake. Purchased some cheese,meats and bread to take and enjoy in our room. Excellent service and lots of fun people to visit with. read more
