I recently ordered the lomo saltado (the lower-priced option), and while the meat was flavorful and savory, there was a little too much broth, which made the fries and rice soggy. My husband ordered the tacu tacu with steak, but it felt like there were barely any beans in it. For the kids, we ordered salchipapa. They enjoyed it, but I was expecting the hot dogs to have a little more crisp instead of being soft. What keeps us coming back is the experience here. The restaurant is always clean, organized, and has a really nice ambiance. The staff is attentive, service is quick, and we rarely have to wait or follow up on anything. Their ají verde is still really good too. Overall, I'd say 3.5 stars for the food, but 4 stars for service, ambiance, and overall experience. Note: this placed used to be a restaurant called Brasa; hence, why you'll see "brasa" in their website's URL but not on the sign outside. Also, the portions are huge; no one finished everything. I ordered the full plat of ribs to share with someone else and we still had left overs. Will definitely return if I'm in the mood for BBQ. P.S. if you dine in and eat BBQ, you may want to take some napkins from the bathroom. The table has cloth napkins which don't so a good job at getting the oil off your fingers.
