I recently ordered the lomo saltado (the lower-priced option), and while the meat was flavorful and savory, there was a little too much broth, which made the fries and rice soggy. My husband ordered the tacu tacu with steak, but it felt like there were barely any beans in it. For the kids, we ordered salchipapa. They enjoyed it, but I was expecting the hot dogs to have a little more crisp instead of being soft. What keeps us coming back is the experience here. The restaurant is always clean, organized, and has a really nice ambiance. The staff is attentive, service is quick, and we rarely have to wait or follow up on anything. Their ají verde is still really good too. Overall, I'd say 3.5 stars for the food, but 4 stars for service, ambiance, and overall experience. Instead of simply assisting me, she kept trying to tell me how to use my own Apple Pay. She then became irritated, slammed the window in my face, and told me I needed to come inside to make the payment. At that point, I shared a few words with her and drove off. There was absolutely no reason for that level of attitude over something as simple as making a payment. If you come to work dealing with customers, basic professionalism and respect should be expected. The line at this location is rarely even long, so there's really no excuse for treating customers this way. If an employee cannot communicate respectfully with customers, perhaps she should be working behind the scenes instead of at the window.
