What truly made the experience exceptional was Christina. She went above and beyond every step of the way, helping bring everything together seamlessly and making what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care were evident from start to finish. Quite honestly, Christina deserves a raise for all of her hard work. Our wedding was planned on a very tight timeline, yet everything came together beautifully thanks to the support and dedication of the NEBCO team. The day was filled with love, family, and unforgettable memories, and the venue provided the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. If you're looking for a venue with a beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service, I highly recommend NEBCO. Thank you, Christina, for helping make our family's special day absolutely perfect.

Positioned at Indian Neck Avenue facing Branford Landing, the new spot does not only have relaxing views on deck, it's spacious and inviting decorated with exclusively commissioned art. It was a year long wait, and it was well worth it! Meeting their team was a delight and all their staff was absolutely accommodating. Choose from a number of items from their draft list or cocktails, non-alcoholics & more (they also have wine.) They also house two food trucks that are permanently installed on the grounds that are Nebco Kitchen that appears to have a rotating menu as well as Naples Wood Fired Pizza serving a variety of 12" pizzas who've been there for years. There's a choice for everyone, and they are family friendly!

12 Percent Beer Project is basically a playground for anyone who loves their beer with personality…read more The vibe hits that sweet spot between minimalist‑industrial and "yes, I could absolutely spend an afternoon dissecting hop profiles here." It's spacious, energetic, and has that low‑key hum of people who actually care about what's in their glass. Service is dialed in. The staff knows their stuff--like, actually knows it. Ask about a collab stout or a triple‑dry‑hopped hazy and you'll get real tasting notes, not the generic "it's smooth" answer you get at lesser taprooms. And the beer selection? This is where 12 Percent flexes. Rotating taps full of experimental drops, collabs with cult‑favorite breweries, and a lineup that swings from pastry stouts to funky saisons to IPAs that taste like someone squeezed a whole orchard of tropical fruit into your glass. It's the kind of board that makes you want to order a flight just to avoid FOMO. While you can't order a flight they do offer two small pours at a time and I did just that. Maybe just a time or two. I recommend you do!! Cheers

I love the designs on the wall, which totally look like pouring beer. The minute you walk in, you smell the hops. There are some lovely, fresh options each day from local breweries. We had a great local stout and hazy IPA. Classics! You can order local food to the joint. There are only basic snack options sold here. There's a coffee counter, but beware of their hours! We didn't realize it would close, and we missed it by about half an hour. Don't make the same mistake we did!

I had scoured Eater's New Haven section earlier that day and seen BAR mentioned for where to get apizza. We traveled into the quaint-ish New Haven core and parked on the street. Luckily, they had just opened, so we were seated upon arrival. We got two pies: the Clam Casino and the Portrait of New Haven. The PoNH was good. The ricotta was a nice contrast to the sausage and red peppers. The Clam Casino was worth the journey by itself, however. It turns out clams on a pizza is a great idea. Large whole clams and bacon with cherry peppers? Damned right. I wasn't familiar with New Haven brand ("apizza" as I've now been told), but the char on the bottom from the wood-fired oven is crucial at holding some topping combinations to a higher echelon than others (where it deflates others): see the other-worldly good Clam Casino versus this-could-be-better-without Portrait of New Haven. Regardless, the Clam Casino would be a go-to if I lived anywhere near here. The inside is huge. We sat in the main barroom. It was warehousey, but a pool table and picnic tables for large parties gave it a cool vibe. I enjoyed watching the bar staff have to hunch under the bar opening, which doesn't hinge up, as we waited for our discs 'o dough.

The portion was big considering the price (~$25 each). Service: one star Service was bad. The staff didn't introduce the food for us they just put the pizza on our table and walked away. Ambiance: one star We visited during Friday afternoon and there's no wait. The table was sticky and shaky. Menus were dirty with spills from drinks or sauce. Would give higher stars if service is better. The pizza itself was not bad.
