A beach bar with a killer beach!!! Full service beach that provides everything you need, from towels to wave runners... This was the perfect setup... They need to work on their math skills. Mandatory 18% tip on 23.00 is NOT 5.00! When asked, response was "we round up because we don't carry change". What? I paid with plastic- no need for change. I have to update my review from 6 month ago. What I want to mention in this review is the integrity and loyalty of the staff to their customers here at this establishment . I was here with my BF 4 days ago, we had our favorite fries and Mahi bites and a couple of drinks. My BF did, I only had water. I accidentally left my credit card here after paying for our bill but did not realize it for hours. Of course now I have to go through a the hassle of blocking my card and stressing out. I remembered the last place I used the card at the Rythyms at Rainbow beach. Called following morning spoke to a waitress card was not there, however I asked for the name of the Bartender that was on duty during our visit. Alex the name of the bartender was starting his shift at 11:00 AM the morning of my call. I called again and spoke to him personally. As soon as I mentioned my name he responded.. I noticed you left your credit card here I put it in the cash register to secure and hold it for you.. you can pick it up any time. Everybody that ever was in this kind of position knows what I went through for the couple of hours of not knowing. I want to personally thank Alex for his integrity, loyalty and honesty to his customers. Individuals like Alex play a big part in keeping a business running and giving the establishment a good name. Individuals like Alex are often taken for granted and their loyalty to the business and customers are overlooked! Again.. This place is by far the best lunch (and beach) on St Croix. The bar is literally right on the beach, feet from the water. They have great frozen drinks and generous pours. The beach is a deep white sand beach on the West coast which means the water is calm (great for swimming and water sports). They have a jet skis, beach volleyball, snorkeling, kayaks, SUPs, and a pretty cool ATV tour of the mountains leaves from here. I think we found our little oasis on St Croix. read more

The food, service and atmosphere cannot be compared to any beach side restaurant. This is by far better than most popular chain franchises on the mainland. Ive visited all top chain restaurant franchises on the mainland and Rhythms at Rainbow Beach scored a 100. I had the mahi mahi grilled bites, pasta salad, wings and Key Lim Pie for dessert. My girlfriend ordered fried cauliflower with sweet potato fries. Both entrees were delicious and satisfied our palettes'. We had two/three drinks a piece and our entire bill was under $60.00. If you visit the Island of St. Croix, please make sure to take time out to travel to the west end side of the island and spend half a day or your entire day at Rhythms at Rainbow Beach. This place needs a sign saying "only serve locals" because I sat there for 30 minutes wanting a drink and some food but the waitress never even said hi while 4 other tables sat down and were greeted by her and had menus and ordered food. Here's what happened: The place says seat yourself, so I sat down at a table in the corner, waiting for service. I tried to make eye contact or say hi multiple times to the waitress but she ignored me completely. During this time three other groups came and sat down pretty close to me. When they sat down, the waitress immediately attended to them, asked how they were doing and gave them menu and took their orders. All this time I desperately tried to make eye contact and initiate a dialogue but she completely ignored me at every turn dashing to this table and that, and never even said hi or gave me a chance to order anything. Tis lasted for 30 min, because I didn't want to miss the sunset while searching for another place to eat. As time went on every single person that was there was greeted and served except me. Now the sun has set I am completely thirsty and hungry, and just confused at why this happened. To be fair, the other tables looked like they had fun and enjoyed their drinks and foods, and were served warmly and welcomingly. I don't know why I received zero hospitality here. Worst experience in the Virgin Islands. If you are here on business like I am and seem like an outsider, avoid this place. They will treat you like air! read more

So I take the kids to get lunch and swim. In the process of trying to order I asks a few questions about the menu & got answers that made me decide to keep looking over the menu (fake cheese on nachos & bay shrimp served hot with cocktail sauce no way to do an ice bath to cool) I made a joke with a smile on my face that the waitress was killing me with her answers. My sons hot dog came out on a huge roll with some kind of cheese substitute so we asked for something thing else. My mimosa came served over ice which I strained into another cup instead of returning. The waitress brought kids food before the cheese sticks we order, turns out they weren't order at all so I said never mind being the kids already had their food. The manager/owner female who I have met before comes to the table and says it doesn't seem like things are working out so I think we should close this out and get you some to go boxes while. Are you kidding me! Seems we are being asked to leave, NO she says just doesn't seem like things are going well just offering to go boxes.....rhythms at rainbow beach is all the way. What a joke! My crew and I are in Fredriksted, St. Croix for post Hurricane Maria restorations. Rhythms at Rainbow Beach is located in one of the most heavily affected areas on the island. The management and staff are doing an outstanding job of providing an oasis for locals and visitors after some long hard days of both physically and emotionally demanding work. Somehow they have all been able to put their personal hardships aside to insure all patrons, both old and new can relax and enjoy great food and great drinks along with their breathtaking view of paradise. I would specifically like to thank Jamie and Randy and their team, Virgil, Tim, Lexi, Lauren, Audie, Alex, Gerald, Chelsie, Abby,Kenny, Tenny, and Jahcoy. Their incredibly positive attitudes along with their professionalism and sincere concern for the customer's experience, have made a very tough time for all, much more bearable. read more

Great beach bar stop between diving the F-sted pier and the beach at Hams Bluff. Best to stop between cruise ship visits or its a little crowded until every one returns to the ship and the place clears out. Ordered drinks grilled Mahi bites and fresh cut fries. Beware when you go to this place. We went looking for an off the grid place to chill and swim. Middle of the afternoon we parked in the designated parking for the bar and grill. A group of thug like young guys and girls entered only to be welcomed by the owner Sara. After several free rounds of shots, the group exited outside. The owner Sara exited with them. Upon suspicion of something wrong, we went to our Jeep where we noticed our snorkeling gear and clothing had been stolen. Sara said she called 4 police officers who didn't answer their phones. We called 911 and filed a police report. At the police station, we were told this wasn't the first time this had happened. Stay away from this place if you cherish your safety. read more
