Everything is kind of sub-par, except the pizza which might be good enough to be average. Eh.

Pizza brand pizza. This pizza tastes like pizza. What sets a pizza spot like this apart from its competitors is neighborhood and price. Rialto is 4 minutes away from some of the best pizza in town and the prices are not the lowest nor the highest. I've called in multiple times to ask what the specials were. I don't get any specials, and then there is a special on the sign out front similar and cheaper than what I ordered. I think it is typically worth driving the extra 4 minutes for the better pizza or the cheaper pizza. read more

This is a great, local pizza shop. The pizza and hoagies are fresh and flavorful. I live close by and this is my go to place, through they will pretty much deliver anywhere in the city. There are always coupons for this place and even if you don't have any you can ask over the phone and they will usually give you a deal. They always say it will take 45 mins for delivery but in my experience it's usually about 20-30 mins. Prices seem to be totally random since the same order comes out to a different price every time but I guess that's part of the charm. read more

My first experience with Rialto was unimpressive at best. I felt I way overpaid for a pizza that stood apart from no other toss n bake pizza. My second experience was better. I still paid a premium (nearly twice a competitors price) for an Italian hoagie. The hoagie impressed me so I figured this would just be an occasional hoagie fix foir me. Until today. Today I decided to gain back twice the calories I dumped on my bicycle ride. I stopped in and the A/C was nice so I decided to eat in. I ordered an Italian hoagie again, no tomatoes (I'm allergic). I was told 5 minutes and had a seat. Now there was an older man there eating a pie. I casually noticed he was eyeballing me. a few moments later he sauntered right past me and interrupted a table full of patrons as if he knew them. He began asking a young woman about her bag insisting he wanted a bag just like it (I think it was her purse). He carried on and on while they listened with puzzled facial expressions. I could tell they were uncomfortable. Other patrons took notice as well. He concluded by introducing himself by name and informing the woman that if she didn't want her bag, he would take it. Now i'm sure this man is harmless. Probably a regular from the neighborhood who just needs social interaction but lost his social skills during a tragic fall. The place probably even has a nickname for him. None the less I determined I would just take my order to go now and hopefully before he got to my table. Until it was placed in front of me. It had tomatoes. I explained I asked for no tomatoes. The man looked at the receipt, looked at the hoagie, and went through the motions of a mental conflict of what to do next. He explained 'I'll just throw this away and make you a new one'. I said i'd like it to go now. He left the hoagie and started walking away. He did a double take, asked me what I wanted him to do as if we didn't just discuss it. I explained, i'll take a new one; to go. Precisely 120 seconds later a bag fell onto the table and a 'sorry about that sir' was murmured out of left field. No way this was a fresh hot hoagie. If you want to take it to the back, pick the tomatoes off, toss it in the oven for 60 seconds and dump it back in front of me you might consider allergens. The food is tainted now and a greater liability to your business than the loss of a hoagie. You also lost a customer. I don't like waste. But food restrictions are food restrictions. I would have picked them off myself if it was ok to do so. The receipt says 'no tomatoe' in red. You screwed up, you eat it. Further you shouldn't allow patrons to wander about table to table and harass other patrons. To think I spent money on that experience. Never again. read more

My husband and I just moved here and he passes this place everyday on his way home from work. So tonight we decided to have a pizza and baseball night. I really like the food at this place but the customer service has ALOT to be desired. I ordered a ham and cheese hoagie with EXTRA tomatoes, mayo and lettuce ONLY. I repeated it THREE times to the person who took my order. When I received my order it was completed dry. No tomatoes or mayo!! I called the restaurant and "The Manager" said he was positive there were tomatoes on my hoagie. I had no reason to lie and offered to take a picture for him. He was extremely nonchalant and flat out refused to give me what I paid for. His EXACT words were " I'm unwilling to remake your sandwich." I would have even picked it up myself but He then Hung up on me!!! I called right back because I in NO WAY was rude to him and didnt expect this type of treatment for a mistake that THEY MADE. When I called back I asked to speak to a manager and he informed me he was the manager! Imagine my surprise to find out a manager would be so impolite! I've been a police officer for over 20 yrs and have been in this establishment IN UNIFORM, they were then OVER ACCOMADATING. Its extremely sad that when they cant see you or dont know who they are dealing with they feel as if they can speak to you any kind of way! I went to this awful restaurant on Sunday night and I tried to ask a guy who worked there about the menu and the owner was on the phone, and just because he was on the phone when I was asking the other guy about the food, when the owner got off the phone he yelled at me in an abusive and nasty way and said "youve been here before!!! You know what's on the menu!!! I told him he had no reason to talk to me in that manner and he persisted in yelling at me! Also, 8 years ago they banned me from the store just because I changed my order! Don't eat here or order from these assholes!! They're HIGHLY unprofessional and abusive!! One of my favorite pizza places in the city. The staff is really what makes this place. I used to work over in Greenfield and they got so used to seeing us and made us feel welcomed. You can tell they truly appreciate the business. Price wise everything is very reasonable and the food is great quality. You also get huge portions as well. I've had their pizza, breadsticks, hoagie and fries. All very good! When we ate at the shop, I really enjoyed their second dining room of to the side. Rialto's is exactly as advertised - small pizza joint with a handful of other menu items like sandwiches and pasta, and a pretty decent beer selection. It's a staple for us here in Greenfield - we order here pretty regularly. The food is consistently good, though some items are better than others. Our go-to is the Hawaiian because the ham and bacon are so good. I love ordering from somewhere local vs a chain bc the food and the service are so much better. You won't find a texting teenager behind the register. If you're looking for a reliable place to get some quick Italian eats, I recommend you give Rialto's a shot! read more

Pierogi Pizza. That's all I have to say when it comes to Rialto's, or pizza in general in Pittsburgh. I'm not from the city, so it was a surprise to learn that such a slice of heaven existed. And when I moved to the Greenfield/Squirrel Hill neighborhood - just minutes from Rialto's corner shop - I knew I had to try it. The combination of lightly spread garlic sauce with creamy mashed potatoes, sweet sautéed onions, and satisfying cheddar and mozzarella cheeses was the perfect first meal to devour in my new home. read more

With a history in sales this place has the most callus customer service. It's as if they have never talked to people or dealt with customer service in their lives. Might want to work on that. The last 3 experiences have been less than satisfactory and as a physician I expect more from people and their handling of business. I have been a long time Rialto's pizza customer . My dad ordered from there a couple times a week. I've never been treated so badly by a company in my whole life. Friday evening, I placed an order online. It said, my order would be delivered in 45 mins. 45 minutes later, I called and the kid that answered said it was out for delivery. Being that I live in hazelwood, I said cool, it will be here any minute. 15 minutes later, a whole hour after I ordered, I called again. A female answered. I'm looking for an apology, maybe a free pop next time I order, but I got a snappy comeback of "well it's the dinner rush, we're busy" to which I asked for a manager . She said she is the manager, so my reply was to suggest maybe they should increase their staff. I asked to speak with the store manager or someone else and she hung up on me . I called back got a guy who also said he was a manager . I explained the situation, pizza was over and hour and ten minutes late at this point and he interrupts many times as she did and tells me I shouldn't have ordered online , I should have picked it up, I shouldn't order during their busy time , all the while I hear the female in the background, talking crap, so loud I hear her through the phone . I said it's not good customer service to scream about your customers, in front of other customers, and I need to know the managers name . This guy told me to perform a sexual act on myself and he hung up. I called today, Saturday, the "manager" answered the phone. I started telling him about the situation, and He interrupted and said when u order online there is a delay, I started to say something back to him but he interrupted ME, the customer, the one who was wronged and he said I LISTENED TO YOU, NOW YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN TO ME. I said "excuse me" and this guy hung up on me. I called back, and said did you hang up, he says yes, and I'm blocking you . If you ever want to order from here again, you will never be allowed to , you will not get away with being rude and treating his employees like dirt . At that point, I hung up. World's worst owner!!! Last night on NYE, I ordered a pizza from this place. I've ordered before, many times. But last night, I know it was probably busy, it took 1.5 hrs for my pizza to come less than 1/4 mile from my home. I called to complain and the man who answered said he was the owner, my business wasn't welcome, I should order from somewhere closer to me. Went further to tell me I should have just microwaved the pizza and kept quiet!!!! Dude, you need to keep quiet! You could have walked that pizza here and it would have been warmer than delivery! Horrible business practice! We ordered take out for delivery. My bf comes in with both food orders delivered but with only one reciept for costs of the first food order. I suspiciously asked (bc no receipt was given for the rest of the order) what he was charged for the second food item and he told me a charge that wasn't consistent with what is adverstised on website. We called and asked the same guy that took our order and he oddly asked why we were wondering about the costs. He then tried to say that the extra charges were for taxes and other charges. After my bf demanded specific details it became clear that they flat out ripped us off of two dollars to pocket the money. Two dollars is no big deal of course but WT? That is called stealing. A fantastic neighborhood spot. As a Greenfielder I might be biased, but this is one of the best Pizza joints in the 'burg. Only once I have a been disappointed by the quality of Rialto Pizza. Yet the many check-ins before and after more than make up for that one occurrence. Given its location it caters to those ordering take-out or delivery. Only a few times have a noticed people dining in. They are quick and true to their word. Every time I have ordered, the food has been ready within 15 minutes. Though their pizza (and specialty pizzas) is fantastic, what keeps me coming back is their desire to meet consumer needs. Occasionally I have made special requests, and they always obliged. Their service continues to meet demand. It does not hurt that they secondarily function as a mini-beer distributor. If you are looking for a cheap, tasty and friendly place to eat a pizza, where you can also customize your own six-pack of beer, this is the place to go! read more

I live in the area and I've been a loyal customer of Rialto pizza for 7 years. I went in the other day to give my business again being no stranger and I needed to pay half cash half card as I've done many times before. I love the employees and never had a problem with the owner except this time. He was in the middle of helping me when another customer came up and he totally dropped me to help this other customer. He came back rang me up completely ignoring me when he finally looked at me and gave me my total I said I'm paying half cash half card and he was Obscenely rude to me! And said we don't do that here, and I said I've been coming here for years and I've always been helped with kindness and have been able to pay half cash half card. He continued to be rude to me swearing up-and-down that they never do that and said that he would fire whoever did and asked me to give names. I said no I don't see what the problem is if I've been doing this for years. He said some obscenely rude things to me and rejected my business. I have never in my life been treated like this in any restaurant I've ever been to in my life. I've eaten at Rialto many many times since moving to Greenfield, however, I will not be eating there again. Many of their pizzas are average to above average. I've always thought they were a little expensive for the quality of pizza that you get, but they were always fast and convenient. Last night I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was totally flat (less than 1/4 inch), greasy, undercooked crust, cheese that just slid off the pizza, and funky tasting on top of all that. Needless to say I was not pleased and I took the pizza back. The owner did refund my money, which I appreciate, but he then asked me if I had ever had this pizza (God forbid I try something new) and when I replied no, he said "Well, that's what the pizza is." So I guess that means their buffalo chicken pizza is crap. No apologies, no remorse that I found the pizza terrible, nothing. No more business of mine then. read more

When I asked why he said that vegetarian was a premium topping so it was $20 instead of $12. I've lived in Greenfield My entire life, me and my family have been getting food here for 25 or something years now, since they opened, when Domino's closed at that location and Rialto's opened up,the last five years or so this place has really gone down hill, so overpriced, even more expensive than mineo's or Aiello's in squirrel Hill which is so much better, Menu prices are always wrong, I got a menu inside the store know more than a week before I ordered today, and the price was several dollars more even before tax, Rialto's charges a expensive delivery fee, The main reason me and my family will never get food from here again, I ordered food for delivery today and they told me on the phone they no longer let you put a tip on your card you're using for food, which is very inconvenient because I do not keep cash, but was able to find a dollar to tip the guy with, I open the door and hand the delivery driver Tip before I sign for my card, He Waits for one minute or so for me to sign, then gives me the dollar back and tells me he does not want it because he came all this way for a dollar, I literally live two streets from Rialto's, The coward delivery driver waits to he is getting into his car to make smart comments to me, I am not a cheap person if they let me put it on my card I would of tipped him more, but one dollar to go two blocks on top of their delivery fee which is over three dollars and their prices always being way more expensive then says on their new menus, but you can thank your delivery driver for why me and my family will never be customers again after we supported your business since you opened, and ordered food there all the time read more
