I want to share my great experience I had at this Rib City in Lehigh! I normally don't do reviews but I just had to share my positive experience. I went to eat with my son after work/school and my son was fussy (it's a Monday) and while we patiently waited the manager I believe his name was Gary approached him kindly to cheer him up. He brought him chicken and apple sauce which my son instantly ate while we waited for our appetizer and entrees. The waitress I believe her name was Carolyn and manager would check in on us to make sure we were good. We were extremely satisfied with both the service and food! My son left very happy with a full tummy! The tea was delicious and sweet. Overall I recommend this location!! If i could rate it more than 5 stars I would!! Thank you Gary & Carolyn! read more

I've been debating writing this review for a few weeks, but the experience hasn't been sitting right with me, and I feel it's important to share. While dining in the restaurant, we witnessed an older gentleman--who appeared to be a manager or someone in a supervisory role--physically grab a female employee by the waist to move her out of his way. The employee clearly stated that she would prefer he not put his hands on her. He ignored her comment and did not respond. Shortly after, we observed him speaking down to multiple staff members, belittling them and telling them they were "not doing anything." This behavior was alarming. No employee should ever be touched without consent or spoken to in such a demeaning manner--especially in front of customers. Seeing this unfold publicly makes it concerning to think about how staff may be treated behind closed doors. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. The racist waitress took the order for someone seated after us. They got their food and 15 minutes later we are still waiting. When I asked the waitress what's up while she was talking to all the other waitresses setting on their butts in the customer area, she responded a few more minutes. Then went back to talking to the lazy girls. Then I went to walk out and just pay for drinks that we had. The load mouth waitress argued with me. Then the moron management came up and barely could make change. Stay away from this rat hole. Employees will kill your business. I will never set foot in a rob city again. read more

I ordered the bbq beef sandwich. It was a tiny sandwich with barely any meat. Very disappointing. I complained that the sandwich did not look anything like the image online. I explained I would have never ordered the sandwich had I known it lacked any substance. I was told next time order something different. No effort was made to accommodate me. This rib city join is at Lehigh Acres. I was there for business and stop by for lunch. The wait is minimum for the table. The place is not too big in compare to many rib city. I got the full slab rib dinner with added slices pork. It is good to add additional meat. The added cost is worth Ed and minimum. The rib is juicy and well prepared with BBQ sauce. Meat is fall off the bone. Slice pork also great. You select lean or fatty. I got the juicy with a bit fat. This is the best. Service is ok. Average in the standard. I enjoy my time here. read more

My hubby and I came in for a date night. The wonderful waitress I think her name was Katie. She informed us that the special was ribs with 2 sides. We got Mac and cheese and side salad also paid extra for coleslaw side. Unfortunately the ribs were not any good. There wasn't really any meat on the ribs. Just bone. We did enjoy the sides they were very good. We also enjoyed garlic toast as well. Then we decided to celebrate with dessert. We tried the coconut cream pie and it tasted weird. So we decided on chocolate chocolate mania. I literally had one small bite and I was so very sick throughout the night. My hubby ate the rest of it and had a stomach ache. It was so very rich. My dad likes Rib City so this is where we ate today. I've lived here before and never ate at any of the locations until today. The customer service was ok. The sweet tea was delicious, fresh with just enough sugar. I had the St. Louis ribs which were on the dry side but had ample meat and were tasty. The baby backs were moist and delicious, I was told per my parents. My sides were baked beans , which were super sweet, seems like they poured bbq sauce in them and called it a day, also had the corn on the cob with butter. The garlic buttery toast was good, I ate two slices. To sum it up, I probably would go back , it would help if they put a little razzle dazzle in the decor and food. read more

The staff is always friendly. But I guess it all depends who's behind the smoker. Sometimes the St. Louis ribs will be fall off the bone then there's other times you feel like you're eating a piece of jerky. They did get a little bit more expensive but of course everything is going up. read more

The food is exactly what you would expect from a rib or BBQ restaurant. 90% of the time the ribs have good size meat portions and are still warm when you get it home. I don't know if they do delivery. I always go pick it up. They have an app to place the order. I never used it. I just call in my orders and pick up. The ambiance of the place is always warm and inviting. The staff usually seem to be laughing and joking with each other when I walk in. Also always check your order when you pick up. I had a few times I got some skinny little ribs, so pointed it out and they were kind enough to correct this issue. read more

September 30th was my 78th birthday and I wanted to give myself a present of Rib City St Louis ribs, so I placed my order by phone and went to pick it up, as I was paying for it a server came up to me and said that her customer wanted to pay for my order(I had on my Vietnam Era Vet cap). I went over to the customers and thanked them for their generosity as they thanked me for my service. I was so surprised by the gesture that I forgot to tell them it was my birthday and what a great present it was. It says alot about the employees and customers of Rib City and what they mean to a business. I go there about once a month and enjoy the food and will continue to do so. Delicious ribs and smoked meats. OMG!!! So full from lunch here. Decent portions and full on flavor on everything we had. I ordered the St. Louis style ribs with cole slaw and Texas toast. It was awesome. My friend ordered the smoked brisket with mac & cheese and fries. Also excellent. The hot bbq sauce was perfect on everything. Even the onion rings! Amazing food spectacular service and all around the ambiance and environment was truly worth going

I read all the reviews before going having never been there before and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We went for lunch and I had the 1/2 rack of baby backs with Mac and cheese and Cole slaw that were all very tasty. The 1/2 rack was on the smaller side, which was mentioned in the reviews I read. The price was consistent with the smaller size, in my opinion, but the flavors we top notch. We will be back! read more

Talk about throw away serving ware !! If you like picnic paper ware for a dine out dinner this is your spot. I ordered what I thought was a half slab of baby back ribs and got 4 ribs. However, one of the times they did forget a couple of my things so I had to drive all the way back but they were understanding and gave me my food without a problem. I placed my order on the phone 5pm was told 15 minutes. I showed up at 5:15 was told will he ready in a few more minutes. At 5:30 pm I was told will he another 3 minutes because they ran out of corn. It's 112 outside and about the same inside the building. The poor waitress had to go to the freezer to cool down. Fix your ac. Our health depends on as does your loyal servers!! You get a one star because the management was told about the ac as well as right as you walk in it's really hot. I was told management doesn't care. I care and my money can be spent anywhere. So. We just moved here to Lehigh Acres Florida, and we were wanting to try something different. So we went to Rib City. Let me start by saying that the building was a cool triangle shape, and there was bluegrass music playing inside, which created a nice atmosphere. The prices, for BBQ, were fair, and it smelled GOOD. I ordered the pulled pork skyscraper with coleslaw and BBQ beans... What can I say, but WOW!!!! The smoke on the meat was GREAT, but not overbearing, and the coleslaw and beans AMAZINGLY complemented the meal!!! My son got the kickin' chicken sandwich, and I tasted it. It too was AMAZING! My daughter got the Mac and cheese... Let me pause here... I am NOT a fan of restaurant Mac and cheese.... but THIS!!!! IT WAS LIKE HOMEMADE!!! WOW!!! When we were almost finished with our meal, the manager approached, and struck up a conversation with us! Chris, (her name) was VERY cordial, and gave us some tips about the local area, which made our experience even THAT MUCH BETTER!!! I told her I was going to mention her in my review! I am glad I got to meet her! She's proud of her little restaurant, and she should be! She is probably one of the reasons why it is such a great place! I will be BACK for more!!! Well, I am not particularly a fan of BBQ, the only place I have loved is Reubens on 41 in Ft Myers. We only ventured there because my daughter and her wife are foodies and found it in the "Best of" something. Long story short, we were meeting some folks for lunch and said we were buying but they needed to choose. Sigh, oh great. I was mistaken. Clearly, although they have numerous locations and this is a strip mall next to Publix in a space many have tried to operate in, the food was not good, it was excellent. BBQ is still not my favorite but the both the ribs and brisket were super yummy and I do love baked beans. These beans were delish! I always come here for the Three Cheese Fries and Buffalo Chicken Tenders. Over the years, the portion sizes have seemed to decrease, which is quite disappointing. However, the food never fails to impress, and is appetizing for people of all ages. I would recommend trying their spicy ranch, which has got to be the best ranch in the state! The brisket was too tough to eat. I brought it home for my dogs. They will eat anything. The salad was mostly lettuce with some cucumber and cherry tomato. The ticket isn't itemized so you don't know why the total is more than the posted price. I suspect they charge for water.
