This may be the 5th Rib City location that I have visit. It is about 3.5 stars. This location is very close to the project site I have visited. The restaurant has parking lot that available for a lot of customers. I got the rib and slice pork combo. I was disappointed that the slice pork is like ham type. The previous slice pork I have in Rib City is BBQ pork slice and they are better. The rib is still the same as good as before. I don't like current slice pork preparation. Service is good. read more

When I moved to Cape Coral I was delighted with Rib City. In the last year, they have taken a nose dive. I use Uber Eats and I don't know if they have some kind of ghost kitchen for those orders but the order I just received was inedible. It was wrong and what they did send was burned and crispy instead of pulled pork. The portions have gotten smaller and the prices have increased. This was our first time at a Rib City and we had high expectations based off of some recommendations we had. It is also our LAST trip to a Rib City. We were greeted and sat quickly. Our drink order was taken and promptly delivered. Off to a great start. We got a drink refill before anyone cane to take our food order...about 20 minutes had passed and we about to leave. Order was finally taken. Appetizer came. Food came. The salad was forgotten and came after the food. Our inattentive waitress, Kaylee, was often nowhere to be found. As for the food...several issues here. The ranch dressing was so watered down and flavorless, it was awful. Not even a hint of garlic or ranch seasoning. The "chicken finger basket" was a HUGE disappointment. They had the nerve to charge $14.99 for what barely amounted to a kids meal. The "tenders" were not much more than large popcorn chicken and there was barely a breaded coating...no crunch and no flavor. The Mac-n-cheese was nothing more than microwaved Velveeta from a box. As a side, I "upgraded" to the street corn and paid $2.50 extra for a baby sized serving of corn with a hint of mayonnaise and a splash of cayenne seasoning. Neither of us finished our meal, it was such a let down. We left, highly dissatisfied and went next door to the Pubiix deli to pick up some REAL chicken fingers and have satisfying meal. read more

We've visited this location twice. The first visit was really good. We were seated promptly and service fine. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches. The sandwiches were very good. Our sides were fresh and very good quality. The corn cobette was warm and perfectly cooked. The tomato slices were vibrant and had wonderful rich flavor. The baked beans tasted great. The second visit just wasn't the same. We stood in the doorway for a bit waiting for someone to seat us. While waiting, we observed the carpet was very dirty with food particles and other debris. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches again. The sandwiches were good. However, our sides were NOT the same. The corn cobette was overcooked and mushy. The tomato slices were lacking color and very mealy. My husband's baked beans were overly thick. We'll go back at some point and I hope to update this review with a higher rating. I picked beans, fries and got some texas size garlic toast. The food...The garlic toast was the best part. Beans taste like out of the can with a tad of fixins. A very small half of chicken over- smoked. Beef was ok but not a brisket. I was here 5 years ago. Why are they still in business?? We always have excellent food whenever we come in here. It's also a pleasure bringing children because they are very child friendly and they often have "kids eat free" specials. Today we brought in a coupon that had recently expired. We asked the manager nicely if she would honor it and she did and it saved us a lot of money and we're super grateful for not only her kindness but also our server's attentiveness. Took my 92 year old aunt there. We asked very clearly if the ribs were tender for her to eat. They came out and had such a crusty coating that she could not eat them. They were actually a little dry. My husband ordered the brisket which is supposed to be tender. She could barely cut it. Not a place I would recommend. To me it was typical fast food. The food would be a 2 while the service a 0. There were two adults, two older teens and a 4-year old in our group. We waited nearly 30 minutes to place an order. The waitress, after 15 minutes, would say "be right with you" as my husband got her attention. To me, that's ridiculous right from the get-go. None of us ever got a refill on our drinks. If the 30 minute wait to place our order was bad, it was NOTHING compared to the time it took to get the check so we could leave. We waited just shy of one hour after eating our last bites to get the bill. It was so awful that, for the first time in our lives, we actually considered a dine-and-dash. There is little more irritating than sitting idly at a table for an hour trying to entertain a young child while being ignored by all staff. I have to start this off with the tea is some of the best in town. My wife gets the sweet and she says it is true southern style tea. I go for the regular tea and it is clear fresh brewed. Appetizers here are fair priced. We get the cheese fries with spicy ranch dip. Great way to start off the meal. Everything looked clean and neat. Staff greeted us when we walked in the door. The booths are big enough for an infant car seat to sit next to you comfortably. For dinner I got the bbq pork dinner. The pork had a good smoke ring a god flavor. For the sides I got the coleslaw and Mac and cheese. The coleslaw reminds me of my grandmother. It is fresh made and has a good amount of sauce. The Mac and cheese is nothin to write home about. It would be better if it was smoked a little. But I have nothing to say bad about it. Great place for a family dinner or lunch. Good food and great staff. Dee was awesome!! My husband and I was there last night around 9pm. I was setting facing the kitchen. After what I saw a waitress do. I'll never forget it. She dropped a serving of dressing on the floor. Wipped the sides of the cater off and refilled it and took it out. I had to come home and threw away my hole meal because I couldn't eat it after that. This is one of the other Rib Cities located in the Cape. The same decor, great waitstaff, food is yummy. I had my usual Baby-back ribs, baked potato, and baked beans. First of all, the baked beans are some of the best you will ever encounter outside Mom's kitchen. The baby back ribs are obviously cooked over charcoal. Been to this location a couple times now. Food is consistent with the Fort Myers and Bonita Springs Rib City restaurants where I've been before. The place is easy to find in a Publix strip mall on Hancock Bridge. Last visit was dinner time around 7ish and it was busy with a short wait for a table. I really enjoy the Fried Okra appetizer. The light breading they use is great. These came out piping hot each time so remember to let them cool down a couple minutes or you'll be screaming mother mercy once you bite into the center. For two people it has worked out best for us to share the 1 1/2 rack order of their Baby Back ribs. They charge an extra $1 for bringing an extra plate and it comes with two sides. Ribs are small but fall-off-the-bone delicious! Barbecue beans and Corn on the cob are good choices for sides. They have a spicy BBQ sauce if you ask for it. It's a reasonable deal and we get plenty of food. Service is prompt and friendly and the items came fast to the table. Draft beer is available along with other non alcoholic drinks. Chain restaurant for Barbecue? I'm still saying it's a good choice.......coming back!! read more

Order the baby back ribs, slaw, and BBQ baked beans, and you will be one happy camper. On Friday, they have it on special combined with excellent fried shrimp. Order sliced lemon with this, and skip the tartar sauce. On Sunday, the special offers a full rack for $1. off. Either way, you're good to go. But make no mistake, ordered anytime off the regular menu, it's a fantastically good meal. Good service, too. Pecan pie for dessert, if you have room for it, is nice.
