So we have had the food here twice and actually liked it. The problem I have is that when we dined here the waitress gave my kids 2 crayons. Immediately the cheap crayon broke and when my daughter was using it she started playing with the broken piece and apparently was taking off the paper on it. The waitress saw this and scolded her. She said "can you not break and play with the crayons like that. We don't have a lot of crayons and so we would prefer if you don't break them". It was something along those lines. Had to make an account for this one because I just could not believe the experience. Had to jump over a puddle to get in the restaurant. No one was manning the front door in a moslty empty restaurant. It was too cold to sit inside and eat, so we ordered food to go and sit on a patio at the starbucks nearby. Our food came out, and we had a problem with the tiny portion of meat that two of our partygoers ordered to split. We went inside and realized it was our mistake in our understanding of the menu that there wouldn't be enough to split, which was fine. I asked several times if we could order more meat only for the waitress to explain again our misunderstanding with the menu. I asked to speak to someone else who would let us order more food and she rolled her eyes and walked away to bring out a chef. The chef also misunderstood our issue and kept trying to talk over me trying to order more food. I finally cut him off to order a half pound of chopped brisket so we could eat, and it took a solid 20 minutes to come out. They didn't rush the order so we could eat. I told the manager we would not accept the food and we would not be returning after being treated with such disdain, and disrespect. It's a shame because the food wasn't half bad! This is a franchise restaurant located in Centerton AR in a strip with 2-3 other businesses. We came a little after 1 pm. The parking lot was busy, but it was not difficult to find a spot. The restaurant is on the east end cap of the building. Masks are still required-until you reach your table. Staff are wearing masks. Seating is social distanced. This place is "squeaky clean". Our host and server, Taylor, was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We ordered the 4 meat combo $18.99 which totals 1 pound of meat. Plenty for the two of us to share. Combo also comes with two sides. We chose smoky baked beans and a side salad. WOW! The side salad is generous! Fresh greens (not just Iceberg or Romaine lettuce), tomatoes, grated cheeses, topped with the best tortilla crunchies. We had Ranch and Bleu Cheese dressing. Delicious! The meats we chose were Sliced brisket, sliced chicken, pulled pork, and sausage (Polish). The meats were moist and tender. Flavor was great! BBQ Sauces and condiments are on the table. We would definitely dine here again. Note: If you are on Hwy 102/Centerton Blvd heading West, take the signal at Greenhouse Rd to turn left then another left into the parking lot. 2 Stars for a sad 1st visit. We came around 8PM on a Wednesday to a relatively empty restaurant. We were seated pretty quickly but that ended up being the best part of the visit. How does Rib Crib run out of...RIBS?! We specifically came for the ribs, so after an quick change I went with the pigman sandwich with a side of seasoned fries and my wife for Super Sud which is basically a loaded baked potato with brisket. The potato was huge, but both dishes were served cold. Our waitress was MIA for over 20 minutes so we couldn't get her to come take the food back to heat it up. I managed to eat the sandwich as it was but my wife could not eat her food and when we finally got the bill the waitress then disappeared for another 20 minutes. By this time there was just 1 other couple in the restaurant. We were not happy with the service at all. I've now had two separate bad experiences with this place. Both of them were food related. The first time I ordered the 2 meat platter I got pulled pork and turkey. The turkey was super dry and not edible. It looked like it was left under a heat lamp too long and was crispy around the edges. On the next trip I decided to give it another try and got the same thing. The sides were good but I think I'll just pass on going here again. The curbside service was great. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had with dine in restaurants. The host staff were very lazy and ignorant. When I first got there to an empty restaurant, it took about five minutes to even get my menu and get sit down. when all servers are sitting at their own table towards the back of the restaurant. after about 10-15 minutes of sitting down, another gentleman came in for takeout, a member of the cooking staff, a young white male, cussed out a customer while proceeding to walk back to the kitchen. The entirety of the staff was then laughing at the gentleman, and saying some pretty nasty things after he left. The Centerton Rib Crib was our "go to" bar-b-q place prior to their decision to discontinue alcohol sales. Now they are on even ground with multiple competitors that also do not serve a beer with with their food. Unfortunate...they had it right and along comes the dumb idea of a customer reduction program. This review was actually started a few months ago when things were still covid threat free. Why I didn't finish it I font know why except I must have gotten distracted. Anyhow this place has been great to get a quick relief hot tasty bbq. We've tried their stacked bbq sandwiches both pulled pork and sausage and brisket sandwiches as well as chips and queso sides and cheesy fries. We've also tried their super spuds filled with pulled chicken once, pulled pork another time and brisket yet another. Plentiful enough for leftovers the next day if you so choose to do so otherwise a very fulfilling meal. Service is super friendly and food is great! During this Covid time there is even curbside pickup along the side door of the restaurant. I haven't tried it yet but I assume you let them know your pick up time and text or call them when you get there and they come out to you, awesome place yo satisfy those cravings!
