Food was delicious and fresh. Also there was a lot of shrimp too. Love the fact I asked for more broccoli and they gave me more broccoli. Definitely ordering again and again.

The food was very good. Ordered online and picked up. No wait, service was good. I had been trying to get here forever to try the food. Did not disappoint.

It is definitely a family owned restaurant. The booths were worn, however it was clean. It was do peaceful. The ramen I had and chicken kaagare were delicious and do was the sushi. I would definitely go again.the service was great. I have nothing bad yo say.

    Really delicious and taste fresh

The food taste so fresh and delicious. I also had the miso soup and the house sake. Service was great and has beautiful decor.

As the old saying goes, "we eat with our eyes." The appearance of their miso soup pretty much tells you what to expect.

Given that their menu consists of mostly sushi, ramen and Japanese food, they are really a Japanese cuisine and less of a pan Asian place. This place is not run by Japanese people and it shows in their food. For me, miso soup always sets the tone for a Japanese meal and I could tell by the color that it was rather watery even before I tasted it. The poke bowl was a-ok and I didn't particularly care for the taste of the mixes fishes. Shrimp tempura wasn't much better and I didn't care for the dipping sauce that it came with - didn't have much of a flavor. Service was rather nice but I most likely will not return here when I return to Haymarket/Gainesville area.

Exact review - 4.5/5 FOOD- 1)Curry fish katsu bowl- curry comes on the side. Portion is big and fish fry is crispy but very meaty on the inside. Enjoyed this dish but glad the curry was on the side because it was just ok 2)Crab bake roll- DELICIOUS! It's a spicy california roll with real baked crab on top. Wow I enjoyed this roll! Very generous with the topping! 3)Shrimp tempura roll- boyfriends order, he said he enjoyed it and that it tasted crispy and fresh. 4)Fried cheesecake- not my favorite, cheesecake was green but it tasted like regular cheesecake. Very very creamy. Lots of fried part. Don't think it's something I'd get again SERVICE- exceptional. Seemed to be a chef and a waitress. The chef took my order and checked on us once. Waitress did a very exceptional job at checking, refill, etc... meanwhile also perhaps watching a baby in the back? Didn't bother me and honestly I respect her for being able to multitask like that, it's not an easy thing. AMBIANCE- very quiet and bright. I personally loved it. I started my dine alone and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Also seemed to be clean which is big for me. I would definitely come back again.

An excellent place for authentic ramen and hibachi! I liked that this was a family-run business. Everything was seasoned well and the food was all fresh. Our server was nice and checked up on us often. They answered all our questions and provided good recommendations on what to eat. The environment is on the quieter and peaceful side. Price is good especially with the amount of food you get. I will definitely be stopping by when I'm in the area again!

Honestly, I can't remember how the food was. I went here months ago and I'm just getting around to writing the review. I want to say the food was decent. Not bad, but not outstanding either.

Interesting location, in a strip plaza tucked away from traffic. A cute shop but it's a plain looking place. Not much adorned on the walls except for some colorful prints of Japan. The ambiance was lacking to making this a cozy personalized Japanese affect. While the menu is extensive, from ramen to sushi and some poke bowls. I came for ramen and I was not disappointed. The broth was flavorful but not as intense I usually like it. It came with the wonderful additions of seaweed, and vegetables. The noodles were a hit. I enjoyed this with a pot of green tea. This totally satisfied the craving I had.

It was my first time trying fried oysters, and they absolutely did not disappoint! They were incredibly delicious and one of my favorite parts of the meal. I'll definitely be coming back for them. The atmosphere was also fantastic. The decor is adorable, and the music selection made the experience even more enjoyable. They played a mix of current hits and great throwbacks from the 2000s, which created such a fun and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was amazing. Even though she appeared to be having a long and busy shift, she consistently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. We really appreciated her attentiveness and kindness. The only downside was parking. There wasn't any available directly in front, so we ended up parking in the Walmart garage and paying $12. We forgot to ask whether the restaurant offers parking validation or a voucher, so that's something future guests may want to check on. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a great birthday celebration. Highly recommend!

It's a super cute little spot conveniently located right next to the Walmart in Tysons. We started with the Seared Spicy Roll with Salmon. It was alright, but was pretty doused in spicy mayo, which made the roll a little too soggy for my liking. I ordered the Cheesy Tonkotsu, which was comforting and satisfying. I loved the generous amount of cabbage that came with it. My partner ordered the Chirashi and enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately, the next morning, my partner became sick and ended up vomiting twice. Of course, I can't say for certain that it was from the food here, but the timing was concerning and definitely affected our overall experience. Staff was friendly and service was prompt, but the experience left us feeling a little hesitant about returning.
