    Miso soup....good

We were looking for a good lunch so we didn't have to cook dinner...lol!! We stumbled on this little joint on the North side. A bright yellow interior was spick and span but with no ambiance. They took our order at the counter which was before a wall displaying the offering including pictures of each. I chose the pork belly with vegetables....incredible! My wife ordered the chicken which she really enjoyed. The soup, rice, yum yum sauce were fresh and "Yummy"... A bit pricey but delicious!

    Strawberry Matcha Latte

Excellent food, drinks, and service. If I wasn't placing an order for carry out I would have stayed and dined in because the interior is so so cute and clean. I got the strawberry matcha latte and the teriyaki chicken bento box. The bento box was a 8.5/10 with the fried rice being my favorite part. The real star of show was the matcha latte, which I would give a solid 9.5/10. The only thing I would change is the straw/cup to be a little smaller instead of the standard bubble tea. Matcha is hard to perfect and blend cohesively, so there are very places I will order it from in FW. However, theirs was creamy, incredibly smooth, and not too overly sweet even with the fresh strawberry puree. This is truly a hidden gem in FW. If you ever in the mood for milk tea, hibachi, or even fresh lemonade, I cannot recommend this spot enough. So happy I stumbled upon this place while I was out :)

Highly Recommended for Authentic Ramen!…read more I was looking for an authentic ramen place in town, and this spot came highly recommended--it did not disappoint! The Ramen: Truly authentic. You can tell by the broth, which tastes 100% homemade. It's not that MSG-heavy style that makes you want to drink a gallon of water afterward. I tried three different kinds, and all were outstanding. A standout was the cold noodle with a side of dipping soup--so interesting! You soak the noodles in the soup before eating. It might be a love-or-hate dish for some, but I found it unique . A Note: If you prefer a heavily seasoned, traditional American-style ramen (on the saltier side), this might differ from your expectation. Their flavors are more balanced and nuanced. Also Tried: The sushi was good--not outstanding, but reasonably priced with good portions and a fresh taste. Dessert Lovers, Listen Up! You must try the Fried Ice Cream. It made me feel like home! Hot, crispy, doughy outside with cold ice cream inside. So yummy!

I also liked that they had iced green tea and it was pretty strong. I forgot the names of the rolls, but you can probably tell from the pictures that you won't go wrong choosing Haru. Servers were nice and when I came it was pretty quiet. It's really close to the mall too, so I was able to walk off some it. Ha I also had the mochi ice cream for dessert, pretty generic but a great end to the meal. I would totally come back!

The restaurant has that classic hibachi atmosphere, the sound of the grills going, and every table gathered around watching the chefs cook right in front of you. There's always something happening, whether it's the flames, the knife tricks, or everyone laughing together. It makes dinner feel more like an experience than just a meal. Our server was super friendly, and our chef was just as great, keeping everyone entertained while cooking. The whole presentation was exactly what I was hoping for, but the real star of the night was the ribeye steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium, with a warm pink center that kept every bite incredibly juicy and tender. The outside had a nice sear, while the inside stayed buttery soft. As the chef cooked it on the flat top, the seasoning and soy sauce caramelized around the meat, creating this rich, savory flavor that coated every bite. It had just the right balance of salt, garlic, butter, and that signature hibachi flavor that keeps you reaching for another piece. The whole experience was a lot of fun, but that ribeye is the reason I'd come back.

Grabbed Koto carry for lunch…read more.. First time having Koto and it was solid... Not as good and authentic as we were told about, but still respectable. They give you a ton of food for the price and their miso soup was excellent (definitely the best part). The Hibachi was tender and well seasoned/flavored, but not the best we've had in town. We'd probably order carry out again, but we do prefer Sakura, Umi, or Kyoto for dine in... Still good/solid Japanese however.

Choose your rice and/or noodles and then your vegetables and proteins. Shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork, sausage, beef. Lots of sauces to choose from, put those in the cups on the side. I chose a mix of 2,3 and 8. Each was marked on the menu with spice level and flavor profile. Those that are gluten free are marked. Leave the raw ingredients there for the chefs to cook up for you. Your finished dish will arrive in a clean new bowl. I liked my choice, especially the lo mein noodles, egg and mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly, and brought to the table nice and hot. Forks are provided if chopsticks aren't your thing. It was busy at lunchtime, but we were seated and served right away. Slightly loud and bustling, but fine. Better than dead! I don't mean to brag, but my bowl was AMAZING!! Most of the sauces are sweet. I think there were only 2 that were salty. They definitely don't have as many sauce options as Flat Top did, but still some decent options. No bread though. :( The service is top tier! They were really busy, but there wasn't a super long wait for food. Overall, great experience.
