Very nice cafe, odd layout. Not sure how to enter, beautiful glass doors pushed in. Small menu, we went for the gluten feee options, but only had 1 option - brisket tacos, which was just okay. Our server was not very knowledgeable. Drinks were just okay. I ordered the 1/2 grilled cheese and added bacon, w a cup of tomato soup. Both were tasty, but soup wasn't hot, they kindly warmed it up for me. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go, it was also just okay. Nothing stood out to me that would warrant my return. It was an expensive lunch and I left hungry. This place is not for me, but many may like it. read more

This little hidden gem was exactly what my husband and I were searching for. The food was fresh and made to order. The owner and staff were so nice and inviting. I enjoyed the Wick and highly recommend. Food: Delicious and can feel the chef's touch! I tried the eggs Benedict and a classic swirl (cinnamon roll). The swirl was so flavorful and soft....warm and plenty of creamy frosting with the made from scratch taste. So good! The Eggs Benedict was done very well! I love the house bread it was on and the hollandaise sauce was so good and fresh. It comes with a side of potatoes and they are really good as well....kinda crispy and seasoned very nicely. Service was great. I was seated quickly and my server was wonderful. Very thoughtful and ensured my expectations were met. Ambiance: Really cute and modern cafe in a converted 1949s home in downtown Celina. I sat inside, but they also have a very inviting outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Tip: There are separate menus for weekdays and weekends. The weekend menu has a few more brunch options. Highly recommend the Wick! read more

This place is something special. It's warm and inviting when you walk in; the staff is very pleasant. The food we had was fantastic. Breakfast tacos are simple, but these were done so well. Also the swirl, what they're known for, was one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Also, the iced coffee, blended at 1418, was perfect! Can't wait to come back. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. The decor and silverware are absolutely fantastic! 2. The service is amazing! 3. The building and concept are amazing! 4 stars: Menu is limited which is fine if it's small because it's absolutely perfect and unique. However it's limited and not really unique or absolutely perfect. Food was probably a 3.5 (very good, not absolutely awesome) but they are trying hard so rounding to a 4. They could do so much with a limited menu at the $15 price point but need to improve. read more

My friend and I met here for brunch since it's halfway between the both of us. Our service at first was very prompt as they took our drink order quickly and our cocktails arrived shortly after. They also surprised my friend with flowers for Mother's Day which was incredibly sweet. I think they forgot we were seated outside and we went probably 20-30 minutes without having someone check on us and take our food order. We checked in with the hostess and she was so kind about the wait and immediately took our order. Our food then took a while, and again, we never had our server check on us. My friend checked back in with the hostess and she, again, immediately took action to take care of us and our food came out shortly after. But again, never saw our server and it took awhile for us to finally receive the check. It's a very cute place, and the staff is very sweet but the waiting around was definitely a bit frustrating. If you are looking to come in, eat and get out - might be an okay place if you enjoy sweet dough. However, if you'd like to spend time catching up with a friend over a nice brunch - look elsewhere. The host made it very clear to us we were on a timer. From looking at their watch while I was waiting on my friend to get there, to asking us 3 times within a few minutes if we wanted anything else as we were finishing our coffee after the meal. Very obvious we were not welcome there. They just wanted to get our money for the food and get out. Very poor experience. Food wasn't that great either. Very limited menu and everything is served on a cinnamon roll type of dough (including avocado toast). Maybe that's their signature. read more

Really beautiful and sweet local spot! The owners expanded from cinnamon rolls to brunch and lunch and sweets. We stopped by on a Thursday for a quick bite and enjoyed their homemade pretzels, roast beef sliders and potato salad (with an oatmeal creme pie at the end). Finally tried for Sunday Brunch This place has super cute ambiance and amazing service! We thought there would be more bakery items available and flavors of cinnamon rolls but they just had a few available (original and maple bacon). Their selection probably changes from day to day. I had the breakfast tacos and my husband had the eggs Benedict. My tacos were huge!, comes with 2 and delicious homemade salsa. The menu is small, it made me wonder if maybe this was only bunch and they might also have lunch...? But I'm not sure if they even have lunch at all anymore. To conclude, this was a nice bruch experience but it's not our new favorite spot. I don't see us coming back anytime soon. read more

The food was very good. But beware: their only tea is berry tea, it cost $4.00 and you get one refill. Minus the ice, there was about 3 oz of tea in the beautiful, but very small glass. I gave feedback to the manager to, at the very least, make this clear in the menu. The mgr said lots of restaurants do this but I have never encountered this in Texas, not even a high end steak houses. But I won't go back. read more

My wife and I have taken our kids for brunch here after church a few times. The first time we had mediocre service but wrote it off because they opened the week prior. However, we went back today and had even worse service. We sat at our table for over 30 minutes before server came by to greet us and get us waters. We gave him our entire order then didn't see him for another 30 minutes. when he came back we asked if our food was being cooked and he said it wasn't being cooked yet. So, I asked to see the owner/manager and he said "no." I love supporting locally owned restaurants, however this will be taken off our list. I do not recommend this place solely based on their poor service. read more

Everything we've had here has been delicious, and the place is so cute! The only negative I have is the serving sizes. I ordered a $14 salad and added chicken so it ended up costing more, but it was the size of a side salad and I was still very hungry afterwards. And I couldn't get myself to get another entree and spend $30+ for lunch just for myself. So that was disappointing. Oh and they don't have any soda products, which I thought was interesting. Just haven't been to a restaurant that doesn't have that. But now that I know that, I will be back and will try different options :) read more

Meet the Business Owner: Cleve and Kim W.

Cleve has been at home in the kitchen since his early years. His love for food started with his Mom & Dad and their roots in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Baking is his passion. Kim has loved to bake since childhood, always wanting to help to decorate any and every cookie that was baked. She spent most of her career as a retail executive and is now pursuing her passion of events and hosting at the restaurant.
