Orange chicken lunch special with fried rice.

Got the Orange chicken lunch special with fried rice. Very good food for a good price. Left full and will definitely come back for lunch again.

    Trying out a new spot.

The food is very good. The restaurant was clean. There are only about four tables in the whole restaurant. They do a good to-go business. If you stay to eat you're still served in to-go containers.

Singapore rice noodles with chicken. Big curry flavor. This was AFTER I ate 1/3 of it.

Always our favorite!! Hot, fresh, and a little different. It's not your typical Chinese take-out but it tastes homemade. Can't forget the free dumplings we get with every order. Steamed, but you can ask for fried. Is the first place I've been willing to try something new and loved everything I've ordered.

Peking has quite the positive reviews overall so we decided to try them out by doing pick-up. It's so refreshing living in a town that everything is opened past 8pm. Our go-to Chinese restaurant back in NC closed at 7pm, so this was a nice treat. My husband went inside to get our order, which was made very quickly. The building definitely looks on the older side and parking is only one way, which was confusing at first. I ordered the pork fried rice, egg drop soup, and wonton soup for myself and my husband ordered chow mein, lo mein, and we shared beef with broccoli, something else I've been craving. The food in general was okay, some outstanding more than others. His lo mein was delicious and my egg drop soup was honestly the BEST egg drop soup I have ever had. It was more broth-y than the standard Chinese restaurant's version and it had a few carrot strips and green onions in it. The pork fried rice was probably the biggest let down. There were no veggies in it and have very little flavor. The wonton soup's broth was nice but the wontons themselves were borderline flavorless. It was very hit or miss with everything we ordered. My husband and I have both been having stomach cramps the past two days since ordering here, both day of and from leftovers. It's unfortunate but we will have to continue to look for our next go-to Chinese restaurant.

The ambiance is not what I'd choose for my anniversary dinner but for casual lunch or dinner it is comfortable. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, she showed me lunch specials on the back of the menu, there were about 2 dozen choices for the entre all came with egg roll, rice, and a choice of soup - hot and sour, egg drop, and wonton. I chose Yu Shiang Beef (its available in pork and chicken too) - I've never seen that on a menu before. The soup and a bowl of fried "crackers" were delivered right away. Lunch was delivered when I was almost done with my soup. If I was working quick delivery would be important to me due to my limited lunch time. The hot and sour soup was flavorful, but it wasn't very spicey or sour, however it was better than the average I've had. The egg roll was large and better than most restaurant egg rolls. the rice was delicious, I wouldn't really call it fried rice but it had added flavor. And the entre was delicious with lots of veggies and a generous amount of beef. the price was less than $11, it's hard to find a good lunch for less than $11 these days. This is my "go to" restaurant when I'm in this part of town. I recommend you try it.

The orange chicken was pretty good too, although it wasn't quite as impressive as the lo mein. Everything else we ordered was tasty and fresh. The service was also quick, especially with the online order. Everything was ready when expected, and the ordering process was simple and convenient. I really appreciated being able to order ahead and just pick everything up without a long wait. Overall, China One has good food, quick service, and a convenient online ordering option. The lo mein alone is worth coming back for, and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

We ordered fried dumpling, wonton soup, egg drop wonton mix soup, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Vegetable Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. It wasn't quite ready upon pickup but we did order a lot. Everything was in the bag except they forgot the chow mein noodles, so it was just the brothy vegetables for that meal. The restaurant is very much what I remember in the 90's. The menu with pictures on the wall have lost their color, there are a few tables and chairs inside, and almost zero decor. It's nostalgic; all they need are almond cookies (where are the almond cookies around here?!) The food was delicious and gave us exactly what we were looking for...comfort. The fried dumplings were phenomenal and I'd honestly stop by just for those. China One is Americanized Chinese food, of course, but it's very good! The fried rice is subpar and needs seasoning, something all of the Chinese restaurants we've been to here in TN so far, have in common. If we don't find our go-to Chinese place, we are more than satisfied with China One being it!

Xiao's Hibachi is located on the corner of the shopping center shared with Walmart and Petsense. There's plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately and sat at a table. The restaurant is large but the buffet itself is very small. However, the food here is DELICIOUS. I honestly had low expectations due to the poor reviews but Xiao's proved me wrong. All of the food was hot and cooked perfectly, the sushi was cold and surprisingly good for a buffet. When we first arrived, the food was slim pickin's but by our second go-around, the buffet was filled to the brim and fresh. I enjoyed all of what I had except for the butter mushrooms and the honey chicken (it was overcooked). The champagne chicken was amazing and definitely one of my favorite dishes served. I also favored their chicken on a stick, too. The egg drop and wonton soup were nice. The service here is wonderful. Our waitress filled the cups three times before they were ever empty. Our used plates were promptly picked up, too. Our waitress was friendly and hard working. My husband and I came in expecting a low-star experience but we were truly blown away. Xiao's may be small but it is mighty! We will be back for sure!

Now the food is the part I was not impressed at all. I ordered spring rolls and everyone has their way to make it but the ones I got just had way too much lettuce and probably 2 half sliced shrimp with little slices of cucumber. The peanut sauce was okay. It was watery in my opinion but the taste wasn't so bad. I also ordered orange chicken and I was very dissatisfied because I've been to so many Thai spot/Chinese restaurant (I'm Asian so it's my favorite) but the orange chicken tasted and looked like the one you can buy at Trader Joe's in the frozen section. You can tell it wasn't made in the house. It looked like it was just refried and added orange slices on the side. It was overly sweet. It came with 3 baby broccoli and the fried rice was extra $3 and it just tasted like it was tossed in soy sauce. Overall the orange chicken plate was $16 which personally wasn't worth it for me.

We are celebrating a special occasion and felt so great choosing this place as a night to celebrate. We curated our own menu based on reviews online. We went with the scallion pancake, the shrimp fried rice, the baby back ribs, the smashed cucumbers, the bok choy, and mapo tofu as well as ice milk for dessert and a tequila cocktail. As you can see the presentation of all dishes were beautiful. The highlights included the shrimp fried rice with a savory rice and a great amount of shrimp, the yellowtail yusheng with a wasabi base that was absolutely delightful and the baby back ribs that fell off the bone and you wanted to savor every last bite. The ice milk for dessert was the move as it was nice and light to finish off a heavy dinner. We definitely will be back again for the ribs and vibes. Thank you for a special night Choy!

They boxed our food up and I love that there's a "coat check" for the boxed food. We came here to celebrate and they for sure celebrated us! And even let us try this drink at the end. The welcome drink was some unsweetened fruit (passion fruit and green tea?) tea and it was so refreshing, I asked for more! I also got the magic dragon cocktail that was really good. Peking duck: worth the hour wait! I appreciated our server explaining that this isn't the Beijing style Peking duck, but the duck was prepared for over a week and it was perfectly smoked and the flavors were amazing. It came with some wraps, fresh vegetables, and hoisin sauce and pate to make the perfect combo. To make it even better, I wish they gave a few more of the wraps because there's definitely a lot more meat. Smashed cucumbers: it sounds so basic but this was probably one of our favorite dishes because it was tasty and so refreshing. That crispy tofu skin was chef's kiss for toppings. Yellow tail yusheng: beautifully plated and the fish was beyond fresh. We thought the mustard was just a tad too strong, but still a good dish. Xinjiang lamb lomein: great portion and flavorful dish. The ground lamb was tasty and great mixed with the lomein noodles For dessert, I got the sorghum mai lai go, which was interesting as they drizzle baiju on it. So grateful they do free parking validation at the garage next door!
