DoorDashers seem to love this place so we thought we'd give it a try. The place was not busy. The booths were clean and the decor quaint. We both ordered from the lunch menu. My hubby got Beef Chow Mein and I ordered the Chicken with Vegetables. He first delivered the crispy wonton strips which were noticeably stale. Then came the pot of tea. It contained one tea bag so it was pretty diluted. Next the food: my chicken with vegetables was delicious. It was stocked with carrots, mushrooms, peapods, and chicken. It came with overcooked dry fried rice. I gave the egg roll to my husband because I typically don't eat them. His beef "chow mein" looked like mine with a different protein. It had a tad bit more soy sauce taste but that was the only differentiator. What happened to chow mein noodles? There was no celery either. He said the egg rolls tasted mediocre. We can't imagine returning here. read more

The food was delivered somewhere in property, late, was found by grandson, in 103 degree weather, they didn't knock, the fried rice looked like old white rice with soy sauce on top, we were sick the next day and didn't even eat most because it was so soggy. We got one pair of chop sticks with 5 meals, the broccoli looked a few years old. They overcharged my credit card and refused to acknowledge talking to me because i am a woman, it was my credit card. First off the food is incredible. I think out of the 8 things my friends and I have tried we have enjoyed every single one of them. I usually get the Mongolian chicken which is off the chain tasty. I did a pretty large takeout order and was pleased with how they handled it and the quality of the food. The order was on time & they bring it outside to you. Paying is a little bit of a hassle as they had to go back in to process - not much different than paying at table but instead of after you are done eating you are waiting in the car with the food wanting to get going. House (combo) and chicken fried rices were good. Rice was cooked right and not greasy. Proteins were cooked well and there was plenty - only critique was they were very light on onions, veggies. Chicken cashew & chicken veggies were enjoyed. Moo Shu pork was very good. Appetizers were only ok. Dumplings were a bit overcooked but decent flavor. If you want extra packets of soy sauce, mustard, etc be sure to ask when you order and check before you leave. Net - solid when the craving for Chinese hits. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Getting there around 2pm for a late lunch meant we avoided any lunch crowd, and indeed we were seated immediately. Our food was good, freshly prepared, and served hot. The only delay was about a sixty second countdown for some freshly prepared rice. The Crab Rangoon was hot from the fryer. My General Tso's chicken was tasty (it could stand to be a little bit more spicy-hot). The Sesame Chicken was a total crowd pleaser, and the Beef with Mushrooms looks like a dish I'm going to have to try in the future. I do think they could stand to organize things a bit. Get rid of the children's toys hanging about. Straighten things up. But as I said, everything was freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. Our server took very good care of us. Just brought home a take-out order. First time trying this restaurant because I never knew it was there, even though I go to the publix next door. This is a sit down restaurant with booths and tables. We got General Tso Shrimp, Spicy Bean Curd with garlic sauce and an order of vegetable fried rice. Everything was so delicious with generous portions of shrimp, tofu and fresh vegetables! We will definitely be back! read more

The teriyaki chicken was almost not editable. The sushi rolls were very small and broke up when trying to eat them. The Lo mein and shrimp were very good. Lastly the soup was what is should of been. All things considered, this will not be the sushi place you might desire. read more

Honestly, the worst Chinese food experience I've had...picked up sesame and Mongolian chicken with hot and sour soup. EVERYTHING literally tasted like cleaning products and was WAY overpriced, especially for the amount we were given. Made a simple order. Not only did they overcharge me by almost 7 dollars(over menu price), the food is all over the boxes, didn't even get what I asked for on the second part of the order. Great food! The house fried rice and house lo main is awesome. I have had sushi here a few times and it was really good as well. If your looking for delivery it will take about 45 min. However if you just go and pick it up it takes about half that time or less. Best Chinese/Japanese in canton. FYI China Star of exit 19 is nasty! Eat at Rice! read more

The owners, their three children, and the manager were the only people in there when we walked in. We were seated and then three small children walked over to take our drink order, while this is "cute" it was not successful. The girls didn't know what was on the menu and allowed us to order drinks they didn't even have, the owner then sent the girls over with our drinks and one of them proceeded to stick her hand in the drink, remove something from it (who knows what it was) blow it off of her hand and she tried to hand my sister the drink that she just had her hand in. We told her that is not sanitary and we would need a new drink- we still don't know if we got a new cup or if it was just dumped and refilled. We ordered dinner and it was okay, the ginger salad dressing was good but the portions are small, it is very pricey and the food was bland and unseasoned. One of the owners took two of the children outside right in front of the restaurant and proceeded to have a mini photo shoot- we were sat next to the front window so the girls ran over and proceeded to bang on the windows to get our attention- again, some could see this as cute but it was quite annoying, and the owner/mother wasn't even watching what they were doing as she was too busy taking photos of herself at the time. The girls then came back inside, not sure if they washed their hands or not but they brought some of our food over. Some of the food was hot, some was cold, portions were small, nothing was seasoned and even with a gift card, the pricing was high. We will not be back for many reasons but mostly because the young children "working" there could sincerely get people sick because they are serving like they are at their own home, and this is not the fault Of the children, but the owners really should think about their guests and maybe ask "is it okay if my children help to serve you" because as much as I enjoy children, I don't want their hands in my food and drink and personally I think they are all too young to be "working" because the oldest couldn't have been any older than 10. We just happened to find Rice when looking in yelp for local Chinese food. Many of the others around us just weren't very good or the atmosphere was not as nice as we expected. We went here for a Saturday lunch and found everything to be fresh and really good. We had pot stickers, wonton soup, egg drop soup, sesame chicken and General Tso chicken. So SAD. I was thrilled to find delivery to Ball Ground, but was so sadly disappointed in the quality. They were very pleasant, and my delivery was made very timely. However, little taste to the fried rice, and I ordered orange chicken - it was greasy fried. The beef fried rice "beef" had a strange texture and even my cats wouldn't eat the beef. However, hubby said the egg rolls were AMAZING. I really hope they work on their quality. We ordered from here last night and it was absolutely terrible. The salad dressing was bad and tasted very sour. The 4 sushi rolls we had ordered were all falling apart and were not tightly rolled at all, and it's not because they were large they barely had any filling in them. The rice was falling in single pieces everywhere like it wasn't made correctly for sushi, sushi rice is typically sticky so it will stick together while being rolled.. All the rolls we're supposed to have some form of sauce on them and only one had sauce, the rest were completely dry and flavorless. The spicy tuna roll smelled and tasted VERY fishy. We always order tuna and spicy tuna and know how fresh tuna should taste and this was not it so it was thrown away along with the salad that smelled like cleaning products. Worst Sushi ever. The fish was not the freshest, the rice was dry, and the Nori was chewy and inedible. Although we were the only customers in the restaurant the waiter paid little attention to us. And it wasn't cheap. I spent $33 4 garbage sushi. I recommend getting a sub from Publix instead. read more

Super disappointing portions and quality. Teriyaki chicken: a few thinly sliced, tough, overcooked, chewy portions of chicken on top of a few pieces of what looked like iceberg lettuce, with some teriyaki sauce poured over it. Genuinely, I'd have been better off ordering from Panda Express. The fried rice (when I ordered white rice, but anyway) was super generic. The California roll pieces that came with it were tiny. And the "rainbow roll" was the saddest excuse, looking like a California roll with a few stray bits of extra fish draped over it. And all this for nearly $30. Tried this Chinese food restaurant it was terrible, it is located near a college and it is geared more toward drunk college kids then an adult craving a good Chinese food dinner. I tried several dishes and each one missed the mark including easy to nail stuff like orange chicken. I would not waste my time or money on this place it is really not that good. read more

The food is good. They forgot multiple pieces of my order and when we called back, they "credited" us our item they misplaced. They wouldn't send the items back out to us because the delivery driver went home. Thought they closed 45 later? Anyway, I would go in to their place because the food is good, delivery seevice is sub par. Probably wont order again just because there are more reliable places around. The shrimp fried rice was dry, but the shrimp inside of it was good. My egg roll was soggy. The wonton soup had no flavor, and the small container I got that i paid $3 for... only had 2 of the wonton noodles inside of it. I really try to find good things to say about places I visit. Unfortunately, I just can't find much good to say. I ordered vegetable egg rolls, wonton soup, and pork egg fu yung. The egg rolls were good. The soup was OK. The egg fu yung was horrible. The gravy was super watery. as if water had actually been added so that they could make it go farther. The rice was not quite cooked all the way...on the crunchy side I would say. The egg patties were just awful. the veggies inside the patties must have been frozen since they were still on the hard side and extremely starchy. I pulled one of the patties apart and tried to identify the meat. I truly can't tell you for sure that it was pork. I ended up giving most of my order to my two dogs. I will be going back to my Chinese restaurant in Jasper. read more
