Looks good, smells good, tastes better. Cooked up quick. And cheap price! Hits all my boxes. Thanks for the grub! Chicken Lo-Mein

I made an order for 9 items see receipt with cost + taxes. *The portion size is average and what I expected. *My fav option: I loved the walnut shrimp *Package: they provide food entrees in reusable containers with lids *Taste: everyone loved their meals. No standing ovation but it was good *Price: 9 items, w/ taxes & tip it came out to $104 (not bad) *location: in Midvale, easy to get to, parking lot was empty 5 stars because there is nothing to complain about :)

Rice was really bland. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special and the ham fried rice was regular brown rice with maybe a spoonful full of ham. Sweet and sour chicken was a smaller portion. The fortune cookie had no fortune.

For starters, we ordered the Wor Wonton Soup. The broth was rich and hearty. The shrimps were large and plentiful. All the vegetables blended in with the flavors. I just wish the beef was a little more tender. A little marinade in baking soda would fix this. We ordered some chicken lettuce wraps. This has minced chicken, celery, bamboo shoots, and carrots. These are good by themselves but are best with hoisin sauce. I just wish the lettuce leaves were bigger. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was also good. The sauce had a nice blend of mayo, honey and lemon. It had a little too much breading for me but still tasted good. For $16.99, I wished there was a bit more shrimp. One thing I really appreciate - they GLAZE the walnuts! This is one of the few places that I actually like the sauce and they glaze the walnuts! The Crispy Beef is definitely my favorite. In fact, I think this is better than the one I get from Red Maple. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of heat. Again, I really wish they would marinate the beef in baking soda to soften it up. The last dish we ordered was the Garlic Chicken. The server forgot to put the order in for this dish and there was a rush to get it out to us. They forgot to put garlic in this dish so wee sent it back. It was perfect when it came back. This place is fast becoming our go-to-place for Chinese Food. It's was a nice surprise and I'll can't wait to try the other dishes!

I went on a Saturday, looking for some sesame chicken. Unfortunately, they are lunch special only…read moreruns Monday through Friday, so I had to get a regular sesame chicken and then because I wanted the fried rice instead of the steamed rice I had to pay an extra six dollars for that. So it would've hopefully been a $10 meal ended up being a $20 meal. Unfortunately, their sesame chicken is unlike any other place's sesame chicken I've had. Instead of a chicken that could perhaps be interchanged with orange chicken or General Tsaos, what you get is the your basic deep fried chicken pieces and then on the side is maybe a dipping sauce? Maybe you're supposed to point over? I can imagine their "honey sesame chicken" is a great differentiator menu piece, but it wasn't at all what I was looking for. And the fried rice was just OK - pretty run of the mill, and definitely not worth having to spend an additional $6 to get it. Word to the wise, if you want a typical, deep fried and sticky sesame chicken, order the orange chicken and just imagine the sesame seeds on it. All that said - the inside was very welcoming, and the service was very prompt.

They wrap them tightly in plastic wrap so nothing leaks. The food could get to us 20-30 minutes after it was packaged and it is still piping hot. This is good standard Americanized Chinese food. We've ordered everything from black bean chicken to Mongolian Beef to Moo Goo Gai Pan to Chow Mein to Orange Chicken, and it all beats your standard Panda quality by a bit.

Price was cheaper than other comparable AYCE hot pot places in NYC at 30.99 for standard tier and even a 23.99 weekday lunch deal which is a steal. This place was truly felt like a slice of New York City on our vacation BUT unlike NYC, the service was so friendly. Tip was included in the bill so we accidentally tipped again. We didn't know this until the manager came out and insisted she return the extra tip. If this is not a testament to great service, I don't know what is. Ambiance 5/5: Everything was clean. The place was large so tables were adequately spaced. Place was well lit. Warm decor and colors. Service 5/5: Great service. People were welcoming. Staff were stationed around the self serve bar to assist customers. Manager was super nice and even returned money to us when we accidentally double tipped. Food 5/5: They have A LOT of options here. There were two pricing tiers. Premium was 36.99 and standard was 30.99. Premium offered cuts of wagyu, shrimp paste, and leg of lamb for every 2 persons in your party. I felt like I would've been happy with just the standard tier since there was more than enough food. They have a self serve cotton candy machine, soda machine, make your own BOBA station, and ice cream. Even without the hot pot, there were AYCE pre-cooked entrees at the bar including soup, noodles, fried/plain rice. Also had AYCE appetizers like fries and fried chicken. The raw station for the hot pot included noodles, seafood, and veggies. Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious so you can't go wrong with this place.

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. We came on a Saturday around 2:30pm and were able to still get the lunch combo deal (11-3). My bf ordered their sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and literally said it was the best sweet and sour chicken he's ever had (!!). It also only cost $11.90, which - in this economy?? - feels unheard of! I got the fried pork in soy sauce which more resembles braised pork belly with a sweet ginger soy sauce. Super super good, and the two other friends that I've brought here both liked my dish better than theirs ;) My one complaint is that it's just meat. I wish it came with some bok choy or some other veggies to help balance it out! You may also need to request a side of rice since it doesn't come with. We came again a week later because my bf was craving their sweet and sour chicken again (lol) and weirdly the Mr. Feng's menu wasn't provided, just the Noodle and Dumpling one, so we couldn't get the lunch special. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if they're getting rid of Mr. Feng's completely and replacing it with Noodle and Dumpling? :( My bf got the sweet and sour entree and said it was still good, but the chicken wasn't as crispy. I opted for the general tso's chicken which was really yummy but also really spicy. Idk if they accidentally chopped up some spicy peppers instead of bell peppers, but I was definitely struggling, and I can handle heat! As for service, you may be waiting a while (especially at the front desk since their bell doesn't work lol). It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant, but that being said their service is possibly more attentive than expected. The waiter we had both times was such a sweet man and was trying his best despite it being busy. My bf and I both fell in love with him, and we secretly joke that he's my bf's new best friend haha. Ambiance is honestly fairly dingy lol but you should go for their good quality food rather than their atmosphere. You'll find your utensils and napkins at the table. Next time I plan to try their egg and tomato or their fried intestines, which I saw on their noodle and dumpling menu!

The Siu Mai (pork and shrimp) is savory and juicy -- definitely one of my favorites. I also tried the Shrimp with Chive Dumplings, and they were surprisingly excellent: juicy, savory, with a nice fresh onion flavor. The Steamed BBQ Pork Buns are pillowy soft and practically melt in your mouth with their sweet shredded pork filling. Pro tip: Just eat the fried shrimp balls! The sweet and lightly mustard-tangy sauce that comes with them, combined with some sweet chili sauce, is absolute heaven. Just don't burn your mouth when they bring them out fresh from the fryer -- you're welcome. Order 3 dim sum plates if you're hungry, or 4 if you're starving or sharing with others. It's the perfect amount! The service is good -- friendly and attentive -- but it can get a little slow when they're busy, which is often. You can tell this is a popular spot that's been a favorite in the area for many years. The large groups that regularly file into the private dining room in the back say it all. Whether you're coming for weekend dim sum, a big family meal, or classic Cantonese dishes, Red Maple consistently delivers that comforting, high-quality experience.
