Dope spot! Came for a Galentine's dinner on the 13th. Sat in front of the grill and got a full experience so that was really nice. Our chef was fun and since this was my first time at a Japanese steakhouse I didn't know what to expect. But I wasn't disappointed! I got the Baltimore roll and the hibachi combo with a soda; with chicken and shrimp. This includes the miso soup, fried rice, vegetable mix and salad. The Baltimore roll was absolutely delicious but I wanted the meat to be a bit more seasoned. There was plenty of leftovers which was great. Since our party was over 4 we had 18% automatic gratuity so the total came to $45. I thought that was reasonable. Overall I would recommend but I would like to try other chains that do this kind of thing.

Obviously, this isn't anything near omakase quality, but I was startled at how fast they were bringing our rolls out! LOL. I'm pretty sure it's batch prepared sushi sitting in a back fridge since noon. You cannot convince me otherwise. I also didn't like that they don't notate cooked rolls that are covered in cold toppings (Eeeyuck). Since I was starving, we stayed and ordered wings once we caught onto the sushi gimmick. I just prefer better food quality and preparation. If you don't mind your stomach jumping, come get a bang for your buck on happy hour. This was my first time here and likely my last.

I came to Sake to enjoy some half priced sushi. I sat at the bar and the bartender was kind enough to change the channel to the NBA finals. I got sushi, fries, and a lychee martini--I'm just a girl. My food was good as always and great prices. The bathroom floors were sticky probably due to whatever they mop with--hated that. But it wasn't the biggest deal. Definitely check them out for their half priced sushi. I've never been disappointed in any of their food.

We went to Sake for lunch with the coworkers, and they have decent specials during the day. We sat at a regular table and had some of the half price sushi, pineapple fried rice, and a teriyaki bento box. Overall the food was good, nothing special but hit the spot! Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant is nice and clean.

I came back to Sake during happy hour and had a wonderful experience. The bartender was on point and the sushi was good. The bartender had conversation and made sure I was comfortable. I ordered the sweet potato roll and the Baltimore roll. I also had a glass of house red wine. The ambience is always nice.

On this nice I came strictly for sushi. Although I've been here on a few occasions. The California rolls were tasty and fresh. I recommend sitting at the grill where they make the food in front of you also for entertainment and great service purposes. The ambiance was also a plus.

Picked up some take out from here and really enjoyed it. I will say definitely place your order to go online as I waited over 30 min when I placed it there. Outside of that, the food was great. They don't use too much rice in the rolls and do fill them up generously.

Welp, if love at 1st sight was an establishment, this is it. I've visited 4-5 times now. Mostly for hh. They have an extensive hh menu as well as separate daily specials. Always super fast food table/ bar delivery. Great libations and comfy environment. I will certainly continue to visit this establishment and bring friends for this awesome experience.

You literally can't beat 50% off a plethora of sushi rolls. YOU CAN'T!! Find yourself a WAY to go here!! I had three sushi rolls and only paid $20! The bar had a nice ambiance and the bartender was super nice and helpful. I went here alone and got my grub on!

Half off sushi rolls were a game changer. I hit this spot up on back to back days. The Hibachi was on point. I'm definitely coming back.

My daughter had an early dismissal from school and I let her pick out the place she wanted to go for lunch. She was the one who decided on Sake. We came in around 1230 and there was not much of a wait. The receptionist was very friendly, as was the waitress who served our table. We got sprite and pink lemonade for our beverages. We started off with a order of California roll. I chose to get the lobster hibachi for my main meal. It was on the lunch, so it also came with soup and a salad. My daughter chose to just get plain fried rice for her main course. The food was great. The inside of the restaurant had a Japanese theme. It was very clean inside. The restrooms were also very clean. The service was quick. We had a great time and the price was reasonable.

I was part of a large party. The wait staff was pleasant. Our cook did a decent job. The fried rice was a little on the salty side so that was somewhat offputting. and the chicken was dry (which is a first in my experience at these types of restaurants.) Everything else was fine and as expected when you go to one of these type of hibachi restaurants. They do serve sushi and one person in my party had it and thoroughly enjoyed the three types of sushi they selected.

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. Whatever you order, make sure you come hungry--you really can't go wrong.

Zero Proof Night…read more Sunday 8:01 Appetizer : Watermelon Salad Entree: Stanford Burger Side : Sautéed Spinach, French Fries Zero Proof Drinks : Pom & Circumstance Half Moon My zero proof night was underwhelming. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

An Unforgettable Anniversary Dinner…read more My boyfriend and I celebrated our second anniversary at Ruxton, and it was truly one of the best anniversary dinners we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. JR at the front was phenomenal. somehow he knew it was our anniversary and set us up with a beautiful table decorated with rose petals and a handwritten happy anniversary card. It was such a sweet, thoughtful touch that made the night feel extra special right from the start. He then paired us with Rubi as our server, and she made the whole evening even better. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, which elevated the entire dinner. Food-wise, we couldn't have asked for better. We started with the Rockefeller oysters which were a 10/10, as always, and something I'd recommend to anyone. For our mains, we got the cowboy ribeye, which was phenomenal, and at Rubi's recommendation we also tried the lamb chops, which were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Our asparagus side came over a rich, flavorful sauce that tied everything together beautifully. We finished with cake and ice cream for dessert, the perfect ending to the meal. Between the incredible food and the outstanding service from JR and Rubi, Ruxton made our anniversary truly memorable. Highly recommend!

The first thing I did was sit at the bar and look for half eaten food or replicated plates. There were a lot of burgers being served . The woman next to me was particularly unhappy. I asked her what she ordered but I already knew "that face" she made. It was the "Short rib gnocchi face". She explained that the meat was cooked to her liking but the "sauce" was not good. It reminded her of nasty beef stroganoff gravy. Interesting. Every time I come here this dish has mixed or straight up bad reviews. The gnocchi on her plate was neglected and swimming in the pool of "gravy". Welp. I ordered from the smaller menu. A tomato soup and lemon pepper wings . Don't forget my red wine , MEIOMI. My meal was great . Service was very helpful and attentive. This is still one of my favorite places. You can take some nice pictures in the lobby and lounge in the couch with friends.

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

Sunday 5pm Fathers Day…read more Server : Jake We were on our way to Hampden for ice cream but missed our exit and landed in Timonium. The first place that came to mind was Bluestone. It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

Think converted row home, but only the first floor. Still, it packs a punch, in a good way. Let's call it cozy. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. We started with cocktails.
