This particular location simply leaves something to be desired. The food was ok but flavor could have been better. We were a party of 9 and I chose not to have hibachi this visit; it was immediately as if my order was disregarded because of my choice. My very 1st time at this location we had the same server and something about his demeanor refreshed that memory. The restaurant has a full bar, but is family friendly of course and fun for all while you enjoy good food. A few items were a little slow from the kitchen, and I noticed a few things a bit overcooked on the hibachi grill. All-in-all we enjoyed ourselves and there were very few complaints about other menu items ordered. I would go back and give it at least 1 more try.

Had a business dinner with a few team members Started with shrimp shumai which was good. The Kani salad was mostly shaved cucumber. A little bland. One of my team members had the pineapple fried rice. it had No flavor. I went with the Sushi it was just ok. I ordered all the spicy dishes. None of them were in the least bit spicy. not much flavor but eatable. Service was slow and very inattentive. insode was ok, could use a little cleaner floors in the resturant. the hibachi tables were very clean but we did not go with that option.

Dope spot! Came for a Galentine's dinner on the 13th. Sat in front of the grill and got a full experience so that was really nice. Our chef was fun and since this was my first time at a Japanese steakhouse I didn't know what to expect. But I wasn't disappointed! I got the Baltimore roll and the hibachi combo with a soda; with chicken and shrimp. This includes the miso soup, fried rice, vegetable mix and salad. The Baltimore roll was absolutely delicious but I wanted the meat to be a bit more seasoned. There was plenty of leftovers which was great. Since our party was over 4 we had 18% automatic gratuity so the total came to $45. I thought that was reasonable. Overall I would recommend but I would like to try other chains that do this kind of thing.

Obviously, this isn't anything near omakase quality, but I was startled at how fast they were bringing our rolls out! LOL. I'm pretty sure it's batch prepared sushi sitting in a back fridge since noon. You cannot convince me otherwise. I also didn't like that they don't notate cooked rolls that are covered in cold toppings (Eeeyuck). Since I was starving, we stayed and ordered wings once we caught onto the sushi gimmick. I just prefer better food quality and preparation. If you don't mind your stomach jumping, come get a bang for your buck on happy hour. This was my first time here and likely my last.

I came to Sake to enjoy some half priced sushi. I sat at the bar and the bartender was kind enough to change the channel to the NBA finals. I got sushi, fries, and a lychee martini--I'm just a girl. My food was good as always and great prices. The bathroom floors were sticky probably due to whatever they mop with--hated that. But it wasn't the biggest deal. Definitely check them out for their half priced sushi. I've never been disappointed in any of their food.

We went to Sake for lunch with the coworkers, and they have decent specials during the day. We sat at a regular table and had some of the half price sushi, pineapple fried rice, and a teriyaki bento box. Overall the food was good, nothing special but hit the spot! Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant is nice and clean.

I came back to Sake during happy hour and had a wonderful experience. The bartender was on point and the sushi was good. The bartender had conversation and made sure I was comfortable. I ordered the sweet potato roll and the Baltimore roll. I also had a glass of house red wine. The ambience is always nice.

On this nice I came strictly for sushi. Although I've been here on a few occasions. The California rolls were tasty and fresh. I recommend sitting at the grill where they make the food in front of you also for entertainment and great service purposes. The ambiance was also a plus.

Picked up some take out from here and really enjoyed it. I will say definitely place your order to go online as I waited over 30 min when I placed it there. Outside of that, the food was great. They don't use too much rice in the rolls and do fill them up generously.

Welp, if love at 1st sight was an establishment, this is it. I've visited 4-5 times now. Mostly for hh. They have an extensive hh menu as well as separate daily specials. Always super fast food table/ bar delivery. Great libations and comfy environment. I will certainly continue to visit this establishment and bring friends for this awesome experience.

You literally can't beat 50% off a plethora of sushi rolls. YOU CAN'T!! Find yourself a WAY to go here!! I had three sushi rolls and only paid $20! The bar had a nice ambiance and the bartender was super nice and helpful. I went here alone and got my grub on!

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

Each of us had one of the worst meals we have ever had in a restaurant of that category. To begin with, I ordered a wine with which I am familiar. This particular bottle must not have been stored correctly and had an "off" taste-- loss of flavor, slightly sour....in any case, after calling a manager it was replaced with a better, different bottle-- (we take it for granted that their wines re overpriced). It was changed, but reluctantly, by an ungracious manager. I then ordered a Greek salad. Instead of a Greek salad, the waiter brought me a chunk of iceberg lettuce, covered with bacon bits. i sent it back. In its place came a salad with lettuce, small bits of tomato, and pracitcally microscopic bits of cheap feta. The whole thing was doused with vinegar (Greeks abhor vinegar and use lemon juice.) My final course was a plain fish-- plain is indeed the word, as it was absolutely tasteless. The service was as poor as the food. We could not wait to get out of the place. What a disappointment-- Linwoods was once a fine restaurant. I would have enjoyed my meal better at any number of fast food places.

Maddy, an employee there said the food here is great and she and I had time to kill before we went to a comedy show that evening. Parking first, was pretty easy. I think we lucked up for a Friday night, getting parking in front of the establishment, but it was perfect! When you arrive, I was honestly taken back by how small this place was. Small not in a bad way - they indeed, make good use of their space here - it's just not as deep back as I thought.& because of the size, the hostess at the front asked if we have reservations. We told him no but also, there were seats made available right at that time, so all worked out to sit and be served. We sat at the bar, used the handy purse hooks provided, and took a look at the menu. First of all, this place needs to be kept on the low - because they are truly just that good. Lamb chops (3 of them, cooked to your liking) AND french fries, $35? Are we serious? And the drinks? My goodness. I was empressed to see my total of that meal and 2 additional drinks, to bring me to $78. Loveddd this place. Loved our bartender. Loved the small, but family feel of this location. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant, it wasn't a big deal. The staff was not rude, but they weren't friendly. It was more like indifference, from the hostess to the bartender to our waiter. The food was mostly good. There were five of us so we had a lot and a variety of dishes. We enjoyed the lamb chops and the charcuterie board, among others. My steak was delicious--perfectly seared and seasoned to perfection. The crème brûlée was delicious, but my son was served a cheesecake slice with mold on it. We were pretty disappointed overall for a meal that cost over $500 for 5 and was on a special day. We won't be going back and we won't be recommending them.

Ruxton is elegant without feeling pretentious, and it's the kind of restaurant that actually complements dressing up for the occasion. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply want an upscale night out, the ambiance makes the experience feel worthwhile. For dinner, I ordered the whole lobster, and I honestly underestimated what I was getting. The presentation alone was impressive--it was served on a board nearly the size of a large wooden cutting board. At around $200, it's definitely a splurge, but after tasting it, I completely understood why. The lobster was cooked perfectly, incredibly fresh, and so good that I somehow managed to finish the entire thing. We also ordered the Lemon Butter Prawns, and they deserve just as much recognition. The lemon butter sauce was rich, bright, and unlike anything I've had before. Easily some of the best prawns I've ever eaten. We shared a side of broccoli, which was good, but with everything else on the table, it simply wasn't the star of the meal. My partner ordered the Fried Lobster with mashed potatoes, and they absolutely nailed it. The lobster was fried perfectly--crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside without tasting greasy. That's not an easy balance to achieve, but Ruxton pulled it off. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Shake & Bake, which I'd describe as a tequila take on an Old Fashioned, and it ended up being one of my favorite drinks from our entire Baltimore food tour. My partner's dirty martini was also well made. The service was exceptional throughout the evening. Our team was attentive, professional, and consistently checked in without ever being intrusive. They helped make an already special evening feel even more memorable. Ruxton absolutely lived up to the hype. While it's perfect for celebrating special occasions, the quality of the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere has me looking forward to coming back just to explore more of the menu. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to pretty quickly. The handwritten letter waiting for us at the table was also a really nice and heartfelt touch. We ordered the Stiletto, and unfortunately, this was the worst item of the night. I'd give it a 5/10. The longer you drank it, the harder it was to enjoy because it kept leaving a rubbing alcohol aftertaste. The presentation was nice, though. For appetizers, we had the charbroiled oysters and the tater tots with caviar. Both were unique and really good in their own way. The oysters were hands down the best item of the night. They left us wanting more, and this is definitely something I'd order by the dozen lol. They reminded me so much of New Orleans-style Creole oysters. The tater tots were cooked really well. I personally didn't care for the caviar, but it was still a nice touch. For the main course, we ordered the porterhouse steak cooked medium, and it came out half medium half medium well. We also got the chimichurri and peppercorn sauces, and both were great choices. The mac and cheese with blue crab was very cheesy and flavorful. If you order it, I'd probably get it by itself because the crab was more of a garnish. Lastly, we had the crab and shrimp risotto. My one complaint is some of the meat was a little undercooked for my preference but luckily, it's enough to share for two so my boyfriend got to enjoy those cuts. For $120, the parrillada for two is a generous serving of food. We had leftovers for days! It went perfectly with a South African red wine from the menu. We finished the meal off with their flan which was absolutely delicious (and came with a birthday candle and was taken off the check as a very generous birthday present!). I highly recommend adding La Barrita to your rotation of special occasion spots. The ambiance might be a little more laidback compared to other steakhouses in the area, but the neighborhood feel only makes the place more special IMO.
