I stopped in early in the day. My server, Lee, was friendly and efficient. I ordered the lunch sweet and sour chicken which came with soup or egg roll and Fried rice. I chose egg drop soup. It was standard fare. The chicken did not come with vegetables. Many restaurants do not add vegetables, so I should have asked. The chicken was fine. The fried rice was not great for me. I'd come back if in the area.

Noticed this place earlier in the week when we came to pick up my daughter's uniform for school at Mascot Universe that's right next door. Walked in and seated immediately. The waitress greeted us after a little while to give us time to review the menu. I got the Kung Pao chicken dinner combo which comes with pork fried rice and choice of ginger salad or egg roll. I opted for the salad and my spice level as mild. Hubs got the general Tso chicken with wonton soup and white rice. Food came out hot and fast! The general Tso chicken was crispy and not soggy like most places. The taste was good. Kung Pao chicken I liked more than the general Tso although even my mild was spicy. Ingredients were fresh and tasty dishes. It was a bit humid in here. Unsure if the A/C was out but they had a standing unit running. The restaurant interior is a bit dated but overall positive experience.

I've been here so many times and I can't believe I've never done a review! The staff is so welcoming, and remember me and my daughters when we go! Their sushi is always fresh! Aside from the sushi, my favorite is the Chow Mei Fun! That's Emmy favorite to get "to-go". Their bench seating does sag a little when you sit, but you quickly forget once the food arrives! And it typically arrives quickly! The lighting is perfect, as is the music that is a little classical background, which is perfect. My favorite roll is the Volcano! Their crab Rangoon are very crispy on the outside and the filling is amazing! This last time we did the lunch bento box which comes with a soup or salad (I got the Miso soup and my daughter got the salad, which has the ginger dressing). We both got the Spicy Salmon and the Spicy Kani!

Got some general tso's chicken and hot n sour soup to go. Stopped in to pick it up and when i got the bill the guy had already written in a $20 dollar tip for $20 of food. I was like whoa buddy you aren't that awesome. Then it turns out the chicken was mediocre. The soup was good but i don't want my tips hijacked by some dork cashier. Won't be going back again, HO HO Choy fo life!

Not sure how this isn't 5 stars , this is true New York Chinese. Singapore mei fun was on point, shumei was awesome , runs like that I can only have in NY , we will be back and often !

We have been getting their Chinese meals and they're very good! The general tsos is white meat and great. We love their pork fried rice. Soups are great, too. If you're in the area, please give them a try!

Horrible. Green curry tasted like chinese mustard. I ate one piece of tofu...two green beans and the white rice not touching the horrid sauce. Had waiter remove it and advised it was bad. He seemed polite and was a good waiter. I can only assume he told the cook(certainly not a chef). Nothing was o#ered in its place...no one came to ask about it...I was handed the bill...AGAIN no concern whatsoever that the food was uneaten and I had advised that it was poorly made. Cheap menu so certainly was not expecting culinary magic but edible would have been nice. read more

The owners are just not very nice to the customers. I watched during a prior visit the owners reprimand a customer who was not satisfied with their order. I asked for them to hold the mayo on my sushi and they brought it with the mayo anyway. When I tried to send it back they were very rude. Overall the miso soup was very good and another item I ordered was ok but I won't return because there are just too many other better choices in asian cuisine. read more

Very nice place. Food was great. Servers were very pleasant. It was nice and cozy. My friend had the sushi and I had Mongolian beef. Both dishes were very good. I will definitely go back. read more

My husband, son and I went during their happy hour. We had sushi for $3.00 each. They were large rolls and delicious. Atmosphere was nice, clean and waitress was very friendly. Love this place and we will definitely be regular customers. read more

This is restaurant that focuses on the quality time that you can experience. This place has great sushi and great meals, it is by far the best asian restaurant in North Tampa. The wait staff there is really great and the interior of the place is really beautiful. The gorgeous exotic decor sets a mood indeed. I come here often and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good asian food, and sushi in particular. One time a waitress named Christina was our server and she was phenomenal, the best waitresses we have ever had in fact. I unfortunately forgot the names of two other people that waited for us, but they were great too (sorry I don't remember their names). I come here often and would recommend it to anyone. read more

I don't normally write reviews but this time I feel I have to. Although, the people there are friendly..but we go to a restaurant to eat food not to have a conversation with the owner or waiters. We ordered 3 menu and 1 for to go. They were "plain" lomein, brocoli/tofu, beef lomein, and a sweet and sour duck. I was very surprise that the plain lomein has any taste in it because literally, I saw only noodles without any garnish of tiny vegies.. the tofu'brocoli same way, nothing but white sauce, brocoli and tofu, how in the world did they have some taste in it? pure MSG?? I don't even see a single onions nor any kind of tiny vegies. But the beef lomein certainly has those tiney vegies in it. So then, I asked for bottled carbonated water and they said, they only have tap water carbonated and I said oh well, then the normal bottled water but no, they didn't have either. So we're stuck with tap water regardless. And they charged us 10.00 for 4!! Seriously? And my husband's sweet and sour duck, the sauce is water with coloring. How cheap is that,, and we call it a restaurant. I honestly thought it was like a fastfood chinese imbis. In europe, the sweet and sour is mainly from the realy fruits like mango or pineapples with vegies in it. My husband just had the duck and the red sauce nothing but water and red. No, this experience is not worth of my $72.00!!!! read more

Before visiting, I also checked their most recent Florida health inspection from May 14, 2026, which showed zero violations. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall and honestly looks almost closed from the outside because the windows are dark and you cannot really see into the restaurant. Once inside though, the experience was much better than expected. The dining room was spacious, very clean, and much more comfortable than many smaller Chinese takeout spots. Staff were also friendly and our food came out fairly quickly. We ordered: - Orange Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice - 8 Crab Rangoon - Pork Egg Roll The General Tso's Chicken was the standout item for us. The chicken had a good texture, the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the pork fried rice had a lot more flavor than most places nearby. The Orange Chicken was also very solid and tasted fresh. The main reason we came was for the Crab Rangoon. I appreciated that they actually included real crab in the filling because many restaurants skip that completely and just use cream cheese. Ours were slightly overfried for my preference, but still enjoyable overall and definitely good enough that I would order them again. The pork egg roll was probably the weakest item. The flavor was okay, but the inside could have been cooked a little more thoroughly. Overall, this feels like a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with clean operations, friendly service, and solid food. It may not be flashy or trendy, but I would absolutely return, especially for the chicken dishes and Crab Rangoon.
