Absolutely unacceptable. My husband and father-in-law went here for lunch after work and were treated with blatant disrespect and discrimination. The woman running the place told them they couldn't use the restroom simply because they were blue collar "workers" that were "dirty"-- a clear case of profiling and racism. Not to mention the bathroom itself is filthy and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. This kind of behavior is disgusting and unacceptable from anyone, let alone someone running a business. So i pulled into the parking spot directly infront of the door as a woman walked out as i was getting out of my car. It was 9:32pm on a Saturday night. A gentleman walked passed me and into the door i reach back in my car to grab my wallet and looked up and he locked the door and walked to the back and turned off the lights. They don't close until 9:45pm according to the door. I walked up to the door and he just looked at me from inside and walked to the back. I have arrived at my co-worker and his family's house near Dallas, TX. We chit chatted for a little bit. We ended up going to Rice Pot Express for lunch. It was a cute little restaurant that serves Chinese and Thai dishes... it's like fusion. I got E15 Lo Mein and my co-worker got E16 Pad Thai. Both dishes looked good and were of great portions. Surprisingly, the food was not bad at all. Wished I got more shrimps on my dish though LOL. I love my shrimps! Staff and service was okay. We ordered our foods at the counter and they just brought us our food plates at the table. Prices were reasonable. Restaurant was clean. I've had a few decent experiences here, it's difficult to find good Chinese food in this part of town. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, a beef entree with rice and crab rangoons. The sweet and sour chicken was all breading, the fried rice tasted like it came from a box and it certainly wasn't fried. The beef entree was overwhelmed with sauce and veggies. I'd say about 15-20% was beef. The crab rangoons were mid. Ever the sweet and sour sauce was off. I will not be returning to this restaurant. They also forgot the rice with the entree. read more

The mgr/owner has been rude to our family more times than not and today we have decided enough is enough. The lady the counter talk so quick and fast and did not explain to my coworkers what they were even getting, there a little surprise when they paid $16 for their meal. Service was weird, Chinese lady who yelled at you with a rude tone when she spoke. I had a to go order and I asked for chop sticks for me and fork for my daughter, this is when she yelled at me..Super uncomfortable. My wife and I love this restaurant chain and thankfully I was told that they recently opened a new one in Sherman, TX which is much closer to our home than Prosper. Wife's favorites: appetizers (Veg. Spring Rolls & BBQ Chicken Sticks); entrees (Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, Bourbon Chicken, Happy Family & Seafood Delight. Mine is Seafood Delight and Happy Family. You can select the meat you want with some of the entrees (Chicken, beef, pork, shrimp). The Rice Pots we have been to are small with no frills but clean and comfortable. I have always take-out but they have recently started delivery service. I have seen reviews where they said the entree was loaded with grease which I believe they mistook for the white sauce. Also, that the veggies were not fresh but I also believe they were confused because the vegetables are STEAMED and therefore are not as crisp as some people are used to. Our only disappointment was the Walnut Shrimp. They need to eat some of this at the Taste of China restaurant in Sherman, TX and copy that dish. read more
